Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Worlds and Divine Spirits
’It would be for the best if something was left behind inside.’
Andre thought about the situation in Secret Realm No. 1. The moment he pictured it, his expression soured.
’My ancestor’s Divine Kingdom Fragment was refined into a Secret Realm. How much of an inheritance could possibly be left for me inside?’
’I hope so!’ Andre thought as he flipped through a book about the different worlds.
This book detailed the different Levels of worlds. He opened it to the first page, and the entry for Level 1 Worlds met his eyes.
In the book, Level 1 Worlds were described as "Lands of the End of Dharma" or "Lands of Absolute Demon," worlds without any systems of Power.
These Level 1 Worlds typically developed along the lines of agrarian or early technological civilizations.
Level 2 Worlds were where special Ability Users began to appear, though their emergence was highly unpredictable.
The book contained descriptions of Ability Users from various Level 2 Worlds.
These passages detailed the research Wizards had conducted on the Ability Users that emerged in Level 2 Worlds.
The research concluded that the vast majority of Ability Users in Level 2 Worlds were born due to genetic mutations.
Level 3 Worlds could give rise to one or more mature systems of Power, which could be passed down through Bloodlines and knowledge. The power ceiling in these worlds was the equivalent of a Level 3 Grand Wizard.
Level 4 Worlds were considered fairly large worlds within the Star Realm. They could produce Level 5 Life Forms, like his ancestor.
They could also give rise to Half-Planes, forming the prototype of a Multi-World.
In the Senbai World, the Divine Kingdoms of the Divine Spirits were mostly Half-Planes born from such worlds.
A Level 5 World would give rise to multiple distinct Main Planes and could produce Level 6 Creatures. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
A Level 6 World would fully form a Multi-World and could produce beings at the Level 6 Limit.
’Based on the pattern so far, a Level 6 World should be able to produce Level 7 Creatures!’
Andre paused when he read this. He flipped back to the front, scanned the table of contents, and found the annotation for Level 7 Creatures.
Level 7 Creatures could not be born through natural gestation by a world.
To become a Level 7 Creature, one needed to comprehend the Truth or master what the All Gods called the Laws, thus becoming a Law Deity.
A Level 7 World, also known as a Multiverse, could give birth to countless powerhouses and worlds within it.
For example, the Bottomless Abyss World, the Wizard Ancestral Land, the Devil Hell Great World, and the Pantheon World Group were all Level 7 Worlds.
Within these, the most powerful were the Level 8 Supreme Beings.
Level 8 World: Unknown.
There were rumors in the Wizard Ancestral Land that the Star Realm and the many Level 7 Worlds were all just components of a Level 8 World.
A Level 9 World was described as the very origin from which all other worlds were born. Descriptions from the Wizard Ancestral Land hailed it as the source from which all Truth in existence emerged.
After finishing the book on World Levels, Andre opened another one about Divine Spirits.
Logically, his ancestor’s Personality as a God of Gods should have been very high, yet he was killed with ease by three Level 6 Great Wizards.
’So that’s how it is. Different Divine Spirits have different titles at different stages.’
After finishing the book on Divine Spirits, Andre finally understood where his ancestor’s title, "God of Gods," had come from. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
According to this book, the path of cultivation for a Divine Spirit was simple in principle, but extremely difficult in practice.
Step one, at the Wizard Apprentice stage: cultivate the Faith Technique to prepare for gathering faith later.
Step two, at the Official Wizard stage: proselytize and impersonate a deity to generate faith, then use that faith to acquire Divine Arts.
Step three, at the Level 2 Wizard stage: seek out divinity to serve as the material for igniting the Divine Fire.
Step four, at the Level 3 Wizard stage: infuse the Power of Faith into the divinity to ignite the Divine Fire.
Step five, at the Level 4 Great Wizard stage: raise up the Divine Kingdom and become a True God.
Step six, the level his own ancestor had reached: evolve the Divine Kingdom into a complete microworld in preparation for comprehending the Laws.
Step seven, at the Level 6 Great Wizard stage: detach the Divine Kingdom from its original world and place it within the Vast Star Realm. This grants invincibility; as long as the Divine Kingdom is not destroyed, the Divine Spirit can be resurrected infinitely, sustained by the Power of Faith.
This was also the most loathsome characteristic of high-level Divine Spirits.
Andre closed the book after reading this far. The subsequent text shimmered with the light of Witchcraft, indicating knowledge from a realm beyond what he was currently permitted to view.
’My ancestor was the strongest being in the Senbai World and had already evolved his Divine Kingdom into a complete microworld. That’s why he held the title "God of Gods." In other words, within any given Divine World, the strongest being is called the God of Gods.’
For a moment, Andre’s mind reeled. A thousand complicated thoughts flooded his consciousness.
Andre took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and began practicing his Meditation Technique, quickly clearing his mind of these thoughts.
Once his thoughts were settled, Andre’s usual calm composure returned.
’What is this inheritance my ancestor spoke of?’
Andre mulled this over. Everything hinged on the upcoming trip to the Secret Realm. He needed more information if he wanted to maximize his gains inside.
’A powerhouse who possessed his own microworld... what would he leave behind in it? And how would he leave it?’
Andre opened another book and began searching for answers.
After finishing the book, Andre found the answer he was looking for: spatial nodes, the entrances to various Secret Realms.
’Spatial nodes... The Senbai World was knocked down to a Level 3 World because of that great war. Could the spatial nodes my ancestor left behind still be in the Senbai World?’
Andre dismissed the thought and sighed in resignation. He focused on practicing his Meditation Technique and studying Demon Patterns.
Over the past month, Andre had used the System to master another five Demon Patterns. Combined with the seven he learned previously, he now had patterns corresponding to the four Elements.
Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire—these were the most common types of Elements used in Witchcraft by Wizards.
After mastering the Demon Patterns for these four types of Elements, Andre discovered a new Ability had suddenly appeared in his System: Demon Pattern Mastery.
Through multiple experiments, he found that, even without the System’s help, his perception speed for Demon Patterns was now twice as fast. For Demon Patterns specifically related to the elements of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire, his perception speed was three times faster than before.
Five days passed in the blink of an eye. Carrying a backpack and wearing his Storage Ring, Andre arrived at the designated meeting point for Secret Realm No. 1.
The meeting point was the highest peak in the mountain range controlled by the academy. He had to climb it step by step, and by the time he reached the top, he was exhausted.
Even with the aid of Witchcraft, his clothes had been soaked through with sweat twice over!
