Chapter 933: Chapter 960: I Remember Now (2)
"Hmm?" Koa Jackson raised an eyebrow at him, "Is there a problem?"
"No." Felix Lopez shook his head like a rattle-drum and said seriously, "Just think you’re a bit different from usual. So thoughtful, saying on the phone, almost as much as you’ve spoken all day at the hospital."
Koa Jackson: "..."
The office burst into laughter.
Koa Jackson gave him a faint look, stood up and said, "Monday’s seminar, the materials are on my desk, sort them out."
"Uh." Felix Lopez’s face immediately fell, "Master."
"Give it to me before leaving work." Koa Jackson took his phone and headed straight to the corridor, calling Caiden Ward.
Caiden Ward was waiting for the call, answered with a smile, "All sorted?"
"Yeah, come pick us up tomorrow morning."
"Me pick?" Caiden Ward was stunned, "Professor Jackson, I’ve got a little one here."
Little one?
Koa Jackson thought of Maeve Odin’s chubby smiling face, pressed his forehead, and compromised, "Okay, tomorrow morning at seven, Mia and I will come pick you up."
"That’s better." Caiden Ward smiled happily.
"Get Mia a swimsuit," Koa Jackson said seriously, "one-piece, flat-bottom shorts."
"..." Caiden Ward froze for a second, then burst into laughter, "You really need to? So strict?"
"She’s shy." Koa Jackson said, tone steady.
Shy?
Okay, shy.
Caiden Ward agreed, "Alright, leave it to me."
"See you tomorrow." Koa Jackson hung up.
Caiden Ward also put down the phone, turned his chair back around, and pressed the intercom on the desk, "Dami, come in for a moment."
Knocking sounded soon, and the young woman in a professional suit walked to his desk in heels, softly asking, "President Ward?"
"Prepare a set of women’s swimwear." Caiden Ward ordered calmly.
The secretary was already used to his various odd requests, smiled and nodded.
Caiden Ward tapped his fingers on the desk, thinking aloud, "B, slightly slim, 166cm, about 45kg, clean it, and deliver it to me before the end of the day."
"Okay." The secretary’s face showed no waves, dutifully nodded.
She turned and left.
"Hey." Caiden Ward called her, smiling, "Bikini, sea blue."
"Okay." The secretary smiled and walked away.
The office door closed silently, and Maeve raised her head from playing with a Rubik’s Cube on the sofa, curiously asked, "Uncle Ward, what is a bikini?"
"Play with your Rubik’s Cube." Caiden Ward looked at her speechlessly.
"Don’t want to play." Maeve tossed the Rubik’s Cube on the sofa, pouted, "Odin Myres can fix it in two minutes. I can’t solve it, don’t want to play, it’s so boring."
"It’ll be fun tomorrow, your Sister Mia and us will go out together."
"Really?" Maeve jumped in front of him while speaking, grinning, "Feels like I haven’t seen Sister Mia for ages. I miss her, and I also haven’t seen Odin Myres for ages, I miss him too."
"In a few days, uncle will take you to see him." Caiden Ward held her to sit on his lap, gently comforting her.
"Okay." Maeve rubbed her cheek against his chin, "I want to eat a drumstick."
"Didn’t you just have dinner?"
"Didn’t have a drumstick." Maeve widened her eyes at him.
Caiden Ward pressed her belly, "The little belly is round like a ball, can’t eat anymore today."
