Chapter 78: Which Room Are You Sleeping in?

When they finally reached the parking lot, Anita said, "Okay, Owen, put me down." Before Owen could respond, she jumped off his back.
Owen didn’t expect Anita to jump down so suddenly and was shocked. He was afraid she would hurt her feet, so he said anxiously, "What are you anxious about? You can come down when I’m stable."
"It’s okay. I’m very athletic," Anita said with a smile while looking at the nervous Owen.
Owen finally smiled at Anita and said nothing. He opened the car door and let her get in the car first.
The designated driver was already waiting at the entrance of the dining room. When he saw the two of them get into the car, he opened the car door and got into the car.
Since there was someone else in the car, Anita didn’t feel comfortable talking to Owen the rest of the way. When they finally reached her door, the designated driver parked the car and got out.
Only then did Anita say, "Owen, thank you for tonight. You listened to me and even took me for a walk." Owen suddenly felt embarrassed when he heard Anita say "thank you" so seriously.
He hadn’t expected things to be like this before he asked Anita. He didn’t want to upset Anita, so he thought of taking Anita for a stroll by the river after dinner. He hoped she would be happier.
"Don’t thank me so seriously. I’ll feel bad. After all, if I hadn’t asked you tonight, you wouldn’t have remembered these unhappy things," Owen said with a smile after a moment of thought.
"Come on, we’re home. Let’s get out of the car first," Owen said again before Anita could respond.
"Okay, let’s go," Anita said and pushed open the car door before getting out.
They didn’t say anything else after that, but when Owen took Anita’s hand, she didn’t struggle at all. The two of them walked home hand in hand.
However, the moment they entered the house, the two of them simultaneously felt a little awkward. Last night, the two of them drank and slept on the same bed, but the vibe was so good tonight. How were the two of them going to sleep?
Should they sleep in one room or two? This was a question worth thinking about.
Owen had the urge to ask Anita if she wanted to sleep in the same room as him, but he felt that the question was too awkward. And if he said it, he would seem to think that there was something wrong with his morals. freewebnσvel.cѳm
The two of them remained silent. After entering the house, they went back to their rooms to take a shower.
Anita hadn’t drunk much wine that night, but after her shower, she felt her face flush even more after being steamed by the steam. It was as if the alcohol had gotten to her head.
Owen had circled the room a few times after his shower. He was wondering how on earth he should go and suggest to Anita that they sleep in the same room.
When he finally stood in the door of Anita’s room and made up his mind to say it, Anita was asleep.
He stood at the door uneasily and knocked a few times without anyone responding. He thought that Anita was embarrassed, but after he knocked twice, she still didn’t respond.
He started to worry that Anita was drunk, and he was afraid that something would happen to her, so he tried to open the door. He didn’t expect Anita’s door to be unlocked.
But unexpectedly, when he opened the door and entered, he realized that the person lying on the bed had already fallen asleep. She was sleeping soundly.
He stood by the bed and shook his head helplessly. He reached out and pulled the blanket for Anita before leaving the room.
When Owen finally lay in his room, he began to think that he would never let Anita drink again. How could he ruin such a wonderful atmosphere?
Owen didn’t know when he fell asleep. When the alarm finally rang, it was already the next morning.
When he got up from bed and went to the living room, he found Anita had gotten up too and was drinking water. They looked at each other and said nothing. They were silent for a few seconds.
Anita woke up very early today as well. When she got up from bed, she realized something. Yesterday, after she had drunk and showered, she fell asleep instantly.
Later on, it seemed like someone even entered her room and tickled her nose. At the thought of this, she suddenly realized that she had really ruined the vibe last night.
So when she saw Owen at this moment, she couldn’t help but blush.
Owen had felt relieved after a night’s sleep. It wasn’t the first day the two of them had lived together. They needed to slowly understand each other’s habits and lifestyle. They also needed to be more understanding and be more tolerant.
"I made breakfast. Do you want some?" Anita put down her glass of water and spoke first.
"Yes, I’ll go wash up first," Owen said.
After washing up, the two of them sat at the dining table and started eating breakfast without saying anything.
"Are you going to school? Do you want me to send you?" Owen asked while standing in the living room after changing.
