Chapter 109: Dinner Full Of Love

Editor: Henyee Translations

After she put all the food in the lunch box, Anita took out the ketchup and drew a smiley face on the meal before she closed the lid. She changed her clothes and took a taxi to Owen’s office.

Owen had been busy the entire day but still wasn’t done. Bruce was still reporting to him.

The last time Anita had been to the company, the two at the reception desk had a rather deep impression of Anita, so as soon as she entered the door, the young lady at the reception desk hurried to welcome her. "Miss Anita, you’re here."

Anita looked at the young lady at the reception desk, who was smiling at her. She was stunned for a moment before saying, "Yes, we meet again."

The young lady at the reception desk smiled and said, "You’re here to find the President, right? I’ll press the elevator for you." As she spoke, she walked towards the elevator. Anita looked at the enthusiastic young lady at the reception desk. She was acting really different from the last time she had just arrived.

"The elevator is coming down. Go up," the young lady at the reception said with a smile as she looked at Anita.

"Thank you." Anita smiled and nodded before entering the elevator.

The elevator went straight to Owen’s top-floor office. Anita had been here the last time and had heard from Bruce, so as soon as she got out of the elevator, she walked straight to Owen’s office.

Everyone was busy, and no one noticed Anita’s arrival until she reached Owen’s office.

When she arrived, she wanted to knock on the door before going in, but she suddenly remembered that she was here to surprise him. Wouldn’t he know after she knocked?

So she quietly reached out to hold the handle and pushed the door open.

The two people in the room didn’t seem to notice that someone had come in. They were still focused on their work until Anita placed the lunch box on the table beside the couch.

It was only then that Owen realized what was going on. "Anita, why are you here?"

Bruce heard Owen’s words and quickly turned around. As expected, it was Anita. He looked at the lunch box on the table and Bruce said with a smile, "Miss Anita, are you here to send President Owen a dinner full of love?"

Anita nodded sheepishly at Bruce’s blunt question.

Owen ignored Bruce. He quickly stood up from his chair and headed in Anita’s direction. As he walked, he said, "Why are you here so suddenly? If you told me, I would have asked Bruce to send a car to pick you up."

"It’s okay. I know the address. I called a cab," Anita said with a smile as she looked at Owen.

"I brought you some food," Anita said when Owen reached her side. She opened the lid of the lunch box and placed the food on the table.

Owen looked down and saw a big smiley face and a heart-shaped omelet.

Bruce also came over and said with a bitter expression, "Miss Anita, are you guys showing off PDA? Can you be more considerate towards a bachelor like me?" fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

Anita felt bad for Bruce. She had only made one serving when she cooked. She hadn’t thought about Bruce. "I’m sorry. I thought Owen was the only one at the office, so I only made one. I’ll bring you one next time."

"Why bring him anything? He already ate," Owen said unhappily as he listened to Anita.

"Yes, yes. Miss Anita, don’t bring it for me, or I’m afraid our President will make things difficult for me." Bruce hurriedly waved his hand when he heard Anita’s words.

Anita smiled but didn’t respond to Bruce.

"President, Miss Anita, I’ll go out first. You guys can eat." Bruce had already realized that he was a third wheel. He hurriedly said as he walked out.

When Bruce left, Owen sat down beside Anita. "Why do you have time to cook for me? Haven’t you been catching up on the experiment?" Owen said to Anita.

"It’s okay. My experiment ended early today. And I missed you." Anita didn’t say this last sentence loud, but Owen heard her clearly.

Owen, who had just picked up the utensils, put them down again when he heard this. He turned around, hugged Anita, and kissed her. "Anita, thank you."

Anita blushed at Owen’s sudden kiss.

"Hurry up and eat," Anita whispered without looking up.

When Owen looked at Anita’s shy look, he felt his fatigue from the busy day subside a little.

He also wanted to end work early and go home with Anita, so he stopped teasing Anita and picked up his cutlery to eat.

As soon as the sweet and sour pasta entered his mouth, Owen felt his empty stomach become full. "It’s delicious, Anita. This pasta is especially delicious."

"Really? I made it according to the tutorial. If it’s delicious, I’ll make more next time," Anita said happily while listening to Owen’s praise.
