"You know, I wasn’t planning on doing this till much further down the line, but...I think right now might be the perfect time to throw that fuel onto this blazing fire," I remarked with a sigh.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Responded Glenn with a wary frown.
"Hey, what’s with that look?" I replied with a laugh.
"It just seems like you’re about to act on your impulses without actually thinking things through, like you always do. Like you ALWAYS do."
"Wha-..hey, you didn’t have to say it twice, and that’s not fair, I think things through sometimes!" I protested indignantly.
"Sure, you do. So? What exactly are you talking about?" He inquired with narrowed eyes.
"Huh? What else? The plan I’ve had in store for a while, with our Aberration Skill users," I answered with a shrug.
"Oh, that. You’re really going to do that now?" He responded with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, yeah, of course I am. I always intended to."
"But this early?" He frowned skeptically.
"It’s perfect timing...with all the Monster outbreaks and the awakening of the Deities, it’s the ideal time to make things more chaotic," I surmised with a grin.
"And have you told the others about this?" He asked me with a sigh.
"Well, no. I mean, I literally just decided now, haha!"
"Yeah, I figured as much...sure you don’t wanna think it through at least a little bit more?" He inquired with a look of exasperation.
"Nah. It won’t be too much longer before Satan makes his move, it’s only fair that we give everyone a fighting chance," I surmised in response.
"I find it hard to believe that you really care about that."
"Yes, and no. I’ve always found it funny, the so-called ’world wars’...I mean, think about it. Sure, those wars were pretty large scale, but they didn’t exactly involve the ENTIRE world, just a handful of countries. I want to see a real world war, one that genuinely involves the entire world, every single country!" I declared eagerly.
"...of course you do."
"Anyway, be a dear and call them here for me, would you?" I requested with a grin.
"Be a dear? What are you, an old British woman from the 70s?" He responded dryly, as he opened a portal and walked through it.
I’ll take that as a yes.
It’s time for my years of effort to finally pay off...Harmony put me in charge of training a lot of the young Meta-Humans who wanted to learn how to use their powers in combat.
Of course, since I was pretending to be a pushover, I didn’t protest...but even if I wasn’t putting on that fake persona, I wouldn’t have refused to do it.
Because it helped me find young Metas who had a disdain for the antiquated rules that Harmony enforced, I took advantage of that like-mindedness and encouraged them to think like that, which helped foster trust and admiration towards me.
And once I was sure that they were fully against the way Harmony did things, that’s when I recruited them into Chaos.
After a while of doing that, some of the new trainees assigned to me were Aberration Skill users. They’re often looked down upon by other Meta-Humans, because their powers aren’t always necessarily useful, at least at first glance.
I subtly encouraged their bullying behind the scenes, forcing them into a corner and building their resentment towards Harmony...and that’s when I step in and take advantage of that resentment by extending a helping hand towards them, using it as a basis to build their loyalty towards me.
I also informed the higher ups that they’d be useless in battle, and then, slowly but surely made sure they dropped off the radar, recruiting them to Chaos.
I saw ways to use their abilities, where Harmony had failed to do so. And now, it’s finally time to use those abilities and turn the world on its head.
Specifically, I’ll be needing two of the Aberration Skill users I’ve recruited to combine their abilities in order to pull of what I want.
I smirked to myself slightly as a portal opened in front of me, and the two Aberration Skill users stepped out of it, expectant looks on their faces as I greeted them...
"Hey, you guys, it’s been a while...sorry I haven’t visited much, I’ve been kinda busy lately."
"No worries, we know. We’ve seen what you’ve been upto on social media," Replied one of them.
Rahul Mehta, an eighteen year old with an Aberration Skill ability that lets him awaken the dormant Meta genes in normal people. Harmony was very clear in letting him know that his power was useless and never to be used. That’s when I told him that I respectfully disagreed with that notion. freewebnøvel.com
He had long black hair tied in a man bun, was tall and super skinny, with black eyes and a dark complexion.
"So, is it finally time?" Inquired the other one eagerly.
Jules Gemini, a sixteen year old with the ability to drastically enhance the range of other Aberration Skill users abilities. She was informed by Harmony that her ability was useless too, since there weren’t any Aberration Skills that they considered worth enhancing.
Especially since she can’t enhance any Aberration Skill, only ones that affect specific targets. She had longish red hair that she tied in a low, short ponytail, blue eyes, and was on the shorter side with a bit of meat of her bones. I wouldn’t call her fat or chubby, more like...thicc.
"Oh, yeah, it’s time...sorry it took so long, but the two of you can finally cause a real, severe headache to Harmony, one that can’t be fixed," I smirked in response.
It should be obvious now what my plan is...I want to use Jules’s enhancement power on Rahul’s Meta gene awakening power...to turn every single human on the planet into Meta-Humans!
It’ll be random for each and every person, there’s an unlimited number of possibilities in regards to what powers each one will awaken...more Aberration Skills, a variety of combinations of regular Skills, varying levels of Aura capacity and maximum outputs, there’s only one way to find out how it’ll turn out!
"So, do we get started right away, or...?" Rahul prompted me with a gleam in his eyes.
"Hell, yeah, let’s do this," I nodded with a thumbs up, giving them the green light.
"It’s about time," Grinned Jules, as she placed her hand on Rahul’s shoulder and activated her enhancement power.
"Target, every normal human in the world," Smirked Rahul, as he closed his eyes and focused, "Oh, wow, I just barely have enough Aura to pull this off."
"Good...hehe, I can’t wait to see how Harmony responds to this, I should make a video to announce this," I remarked excitedly.
"Alright, it’s done. I’ve just awakened the Meta genes of every single person on the planet," Rahul informed me.
"Excellent. Do you two want to be in the video? It’s only fair that you take credit for this," I offered with a smile.
"Yeah, why not? I can use this opportunity to tell Harmony to go fuck themselves," Laughed Jules in response.
"Me too, let’s do it in unison," Suggested Rahul with a grin.
"Sounds good to me!"
"You know, what? Let’s do a live stream instead!" I decided, as I opened up my social media and began a live stream with the front camera, "Hey, everyone, how’s it going? Anarchy here, and I’m here to tell you all...congratulations, you all have super powers now! But I can’t take credit for that...here’s who you need to be thanking!"
I then gestured for the two of them to come stand beside me, to get in the frame of the camera.
"Uh, hi, I’m Jules," She remarked awkwardly.
"And I’m Rahul, nice to meet you-...that’s probably a weird thing to say in a live stream, huh?" He sighed wryly.
"Aw, so cute, they’re camera shy, but that’s okay. See, Jules here has the ability to enhance certain powers of others...and Rahul has the ability to awaken the dormant Meta genes that every person carries inside them. They combined their powers to, drumroll please, trigger the Meta genes in every single person in the world!" I exclaimed with a grin.
"Yeah, you’re all welcome," Added Rahul in response.
"Oh, and I should also add, all the recent Monster outbreaks, I know a lot of people are of the mind that Chaos is responsible...and, well, they’re technically right, but it was unintentional, an unintended side effect. So, yeah, we’re indirectly responsible for that.
But on the bright side, now that everyone has had their Meta genes awakened, you’ll all be able to see the Monsters that have, so far, been invisible to you?
Now, then...before I end this live stream, these two have a special message they want to share with a certain organization. Here it is, in three...two...one!" I cued them up.
"Fuck you, Harmony!" They both exclaimed in unison.
"And there you have it. This is Anarchy, signing off!" I remarked, as I ended the live stream.
"So, now what?" Inquired Rahul, as I set my phone down.
"Now’s the best part...we just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show."
