"This place sure has gotten crowded lately, huh?" Remarked Fenris, as we lay down on the grass, taking a break from training.
"Mhm, sure has," I responded with a tired sigh.
A week had passed since the attack on Eden’s base, it was currently the 10th of September, and things had been pretty eventful...well, not here though.
Harmony had confirmed the deaths of eight of the ten Eden Category 0s, but two were unaccounted for, along with their higher ups and one of the Outliers, namely the pop star Astra, or Luna Castillo. freewёbnoνel.com
After the attack, they destroyed the pillars supporting the structure, and caved in the entire building, so any enemies they might have missed are almost definitely dead now. But there’s still the matter of the millions of Eden members who have been left stranded all over the world.
There’s no telling how they’ll act, so Harmony was a bit on edge about that. It’s likely that a number of them might choose to live peacefully in hiding, but there’s also the possibility of some of them lashing out and attacking people.
Then there’s the main threat of Chaos, we have no idea what their next move will be, or even when that’ll be. There’s also the Monsters, though there haven’t been any major outbreaks in a while, that could change anytime.
As for here at this campsite, besides the additions of Deiter’s sister Petra, and the other young girl, Adelmira, things here at this campsite had mostly stayed the same, peaceful and uneventful.
Though, that’s mainly because Petra and Dieter were in their RV most of the time, and based on how often the vehicle was rocking and shaking, it didn’t take a genius to guess what they were getting upto in there. That, and also the fact that the RVs aren’t exactly soundproof.
Adelmira has spent more time with all of us, but she’s mostly with X, still not fully used to the rest of us, though she seems nice enough. She does seem a bit awkward around us guys though, so we’ve been giving her some space.
As for the other Outlier, Osian Davies, he was somewhere else...they decided that it was too dangerous to let him be around any females.
X, Petra and Adelmira had all made it clear that he constantly and relentlessly tried to grope them and stuff, and would’ve undoubtedly done even worse had they not fought him off.
And, well, he didn’t even try to deny it. He’d apparently made no effort to hide the fact that he’d assault any woman who’s within his reach...despite having lost his dick.
Yeah, so, Inoka healed all his injuries, but the Category 0s Maeve Murphy and Osiris Tawfik put in requests to not regenerate his sliced off dick.
Which, for a rapist, is a more than fitting punishment. But he still needed an outlet for his bladder, so to speak, so Inoka instead regenerated a super tiny dick for him, one that couldn’t even get erect.
And yet, somehow, that has hardly affected that creepy bastard...so they were keeping him locked up for now, at a loss as to how to use him.
Anyway, once the whole matter of the elimination of Eden’s core was dealt with, Inoka was supposed to use Dispel on the captives from Chaos, so that we could finally discover Anarchy’s identity...but hours before he was supposed to do so, the base where they were being held was attacked, and the captives were found either missing or killed.
Another base was also attacked, where a member of Eden from the recent attack had been imprisoned...that one turned up missing too.
Guess Chaos decided to rescue some of their captive members, and maybe the ones they killed were of no use to them or something?

"Woah, holy shit...," Muttered Fenris wide-eyed.
I followed his gaze, to see several birds flying away from a spot where trees where falling over and crashing down, a few dozen meters away from here.
"What just happened? Are we under attack or something?" I frowned, as I got back on my feet.
"Let’s go find out," Replied Fenris, as he began heading towards that area.
Is that the best idea? If this were a horror movie, he’d be the first to die. Though if whatever caused that turns out to be stronger than he is, then we’re all screwed anyway.
After all, he’s only slightly weaker than Aurora, so-...ohh, wait, I think I might have figured it out. But I’m still curious to see what happened, so I’ll keep quiet for now.
And besides, with his senses, he should figure it out too, once we get close enough. We headed into the woods, making our way there, and sure enough...Aurora was standing in the middle of all the collapsed trees, a sheepish look on her face.
"I had a feeling it was you...what happened here?" I inquired with a sense of intrigue, as we approached her.
"U-uh, well..I was trying something new with my Aberration Skill, but I kinda lost control of it, and uh...this happened," She muttered as she averted her gaze wryly.
"Damn...that was so adorable, I almost died," Gasped Fenris dramatically.
"Oh, yeah? So, why didn’t you?" Sighed Aurora dryly.
"Because I love you."
I’ll give him this much, he’s persistent. Much to Aurora’s very obvious chagrin. Heh, that’s a funny word...chagrin.
"Anyway, sounds like the others are coming," Remarked Aurora as her ears twitched, deciding the best way to respond to Fenris was to ignore him.
"Aw, did you see her ears just now, that was so freaking cute!" He gushed, as she self-consciously covered her ears with her hair, which only made him swoon even more.
"Hey, what happened? Is everyone okay?" Came Mike’s voice, as he and Kiyana appeared from the trees.
Inoka, Alexis, X and Adelmira showed up shortly after, and Aurora explained what had happened again.
Huh, everyone showed up except for the twins...it’s the middle of the day, are they seriously going at it even now? It’s been practically nonstop ever since they were reunited.
"Just how many trees did you cut down, anyway?" Mused Alexis, staring around in awe.
"Well, just try not to make a habit of this, okay? People are gonna notice if this forest is reduced to a pile of fallen trees," Grinned Mike wryly.
"Yeah, I know, I’ll be more careful," Mumbled Aurora, looking embarrassed.
"It’s still really impressive...even if you were surrounded by enemies, you could wipe them all out in an instant," Remarked X with a nod of approval.
"I wonder how many trees I can cut down with a single attack?" Wondered Adelmira curiously.
"Um, please don’t test it out," Kiyana said to her with a nervous smile.
"Oh, I won’t...I’d hate to accidentally kill a squirrel or a bird or something," She responded sheepishly.
Inoka’s phone then dinged with a notification, his eyes widening as he took out his phone and opened the message...
"Uh, guys...looks like Anarchy has uploaded a new post, it’s a video," He informed us, as he turned his screen towards us.
"Wait a second...you’re actually following her?" Inquired X with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, yeah. How else am I gonna find out what she’s going to do next?" He pointed out objectively.
"Fair enough, I guess."
"Play it...let’s see what this is about," Spoke up Mike with a grimace.
Seeing him with a serious expression is always weird, considering how he usually is and all.
Inoka then played the video, as we all gathered around him as the clip began loading, a tense sense of dread and curiosity around us.
"We rolling? Alright, great! Ahem...hey, it’s Anarchy here, I know it’s been a while since my last post, but I’m back! And I think I’ll cut right to the chase...I’ve planned out quite a spectacular event, and it’s happening...tonight! Where, you ask? It’ll be in Egypt, specifically by the pyramids!
There’ll be Monsters and plenty of violence, don’t miss the action! Also, if you’re a normal human, you should stay away if you don’t want to die...but it’s totally your choice. But, wait! There’s more! What could it be? I’ll tell you...face reveal! That’s right, this mask will soon be coming off! And that about covers everything. And, cut!"
With that, the video ended. All of us were silent for a moment, as we processed all that...what a nuisance, as usual.
"Guess I’ll be heading back to Egypt tonight, huh?" Sighed Aurora with a look of exasperation.
"They might call me up too. We’re getting no rest, the Eden elimination was barely a week ago," Added Inoka with a sigh of his own.
"Hey, I wanna come too, since I missed out last time!" Chimed in Fenris.
And I guess I’ll be here, then. A part of me does wish that I was strong enough that they’d include me too, but...I’d probably only just get in the way. And besides...I’m probably better off staying out of danger anyway...
