Huh...? My head hurts, where am I...? I then shot up with a start as it came flooding back to me...crap, how long was I out for!? frёewebηovel.cѳm
I looked around frantically, before spotting Lucifer, raising his foot over Inoka’s head, whose chest was bleeding profusely, and it looked like he was struggling to breathe.
Quickly, Shadow Cat!
I formed my shroud as quickly as possible, before sending my right arm rapidly extending towards the Fallen Angel as fast as I could, wrapping around his body as I extended out a shadowy streak to tie up his raised leg, preventing him from getting away.
Alexis was on the ground behind him, blood trickling out of the corner of her mouth, while Zoraiz was slumped down in a shop, a few glass shards sticking into his body.
Lucifer...he did this to them...how dare he...
"Hey...," I remarked icily, fully forming my Shadow Cat, before adding as he glanced back, "I’m gonna pop you like a pimple."
That wasn’t a good line, was it? Well, whatever.
I then crushed his arms and torso with a swift squeeze, a mass of blood and gore bursting out of his mouth, before I rapidly extended my shadowy arm several meters up into the air and swung his mangled body at the ground with as much force as I could generate.
He slammed onto the street in a bloody explosion, several cracks spreading out upon impact as a dust cloud rose up.
"Inoka, heal yourself and then take care of the other two...I’m gonna go kill him!" I exclaimed, as the mass of torn apart flesh and broken bones began to reconstruct itself.
As Inoka responded with a weak smile and a thumbs up, I shot towards the bloody pile of meat and slammed my fist onto it as it began to take shape...weird, unlike Dracula, this guy’s clothes are reconstructing too. Is it just a part of his body that looks like clothes? Hm...doesn’t really matter.
I formed a massive Negative Blast as it continued to heal, before firing it out at him. My blast struck the fleshy mass and burst a hole through the middle, when suddenly, as his brain had mostly finished healing, an immense pressure slowed me down...this trick again, huh?
But just because I can’t move freely, doesn’t mean that I can’t use my powers! I fired out a barrage of Negative Blasts at him, which he just barely managed to block by drawing in several surrounding vehicles in front of himself, as his eyes grew back. Hm, wasn’t his telekinesis faster before? Am I just imagining it?
Tch, he’s almost fully healed again...there’s no point in trying to move right now, this gravitational field or whatever this is, feels like it’s made gravity ten times heavier. I can use my powers freely...so I’ll stay still and use my Shadow Cat form to its fullest.
I sent out several bladed whip-like shadowy streaks barreling towards him, right as he was nearly completely restored. He evaded my attacks and fired out a wind-enhanced blast of flames at me, which I blocked by increasing the density of my shroud, and then countering with a rapid, drill-like Negative Blast from my mouth.
He began to raise a vehicle to use as a shield, but it was too slow...looks like I was right, the field of increased gravity means that his telekinesis is that much slower within this field.
He grimaced as my attack slipped through the vehicles before they could shield him and burst through the middle of his chest, tearing a hole through it.
As he then deactivated the sharply increased gravity, I immediately shot towards him at top speed, closing in rapidly.
"Damn you...! I command you to kneel before me, now!" He snapped as I closed in on him, an enraged look in his eyes.
As he spoke, I suddenly felt my knees get heavier, as if they were being forced down to the ground...I gritted my teeth and resisted it with all the mental strength I could muster, breaking free from his command and drawing back my fist as he swung his leg across at the side of my head.
"What!?" he blurted out in disbelief, as I evaded his kick and slammed my fist square onto the middle of his face, sending him rapidly flying back and skidding along the street painfully.
He’s slower than he was before...did having to heal that much damage weaken him? Or is it something else that’s weakening him? Either way, this is my chance.
I raced after him as he got back onto his feet, flying up as I sent a sharp, shadowy streak rapidly extending towards him, evading it before I fired out a couple of Negative Slashes up at him, which he zipped up to evade, before rapidly swooping down at me with streaks of wind and black flames swirling around his fist.
I swiftly crossed my arms above myself and increased the density of my shroud as much as possible, as his fist slammed onto my shadowy arms with immense force, my knees buckling upon impact as cracks spread out on the ground beneath my feet.
I sprang back in alarm as he broke through my shroud, his fist grazing my forearms and searing my skin painfully...black flames are made by combining the Dark and Pyro Skills, it makes the flames more potent. I’ve got resistance to it since I have the Dark Skill too, but it still hurts like hell.
Also, he’s definitely slower and weaker than he was before, but that said, he’s still a bit more powerful than I am. Still, I feel like the odds are a lot more even than during my fight against Dracula.
"I have had enough! All of you will die!" Snapped Lucifer furiously, as he shot towards me and drove his fist at my midsection.
I sprang up as I repaired the damage to my Shadow Cat, before twisting my body in mid-air and rapidly spinning across, swinging my heel at his head.
He leapt back to evade it, as my heel slammed onto the street with immense force and broke apart the asphalt as deep cracks spread out from the point of impact.
I then ducked backwards as he sent a mangled chunk of metal rapidly spinning towards me, before backflipping out of the way as he jumped up, balled his fists together and swung them down towards me.
His fists slammed onto the street with a devastating impact as deep cracks spread out for several meters, chunks of the street bursting up as a dark cloud of dust rose up.
Right as I landed, he raised his palm in my direction, and the next thing I knew, a strong force struck the middle of my Shadow Cat and sent me rapidly flying back and crashing onto a car, avoiding sustaining any damage as I increased the density of my shroud behind my back.
Black flames and wind then began swirling around him, growing rapidly and twisting violently as he formed a dark, flaming tornado.
I quickly glanced back, to see that Inoka was still healing Zoraiz, having finished healing Alexis...crap, I might be able to evade that, but they can’t. I have to block it!
As the dark blaze roared violently, the tornado began expanding outwards rapidly, as I grew my Shadow Cat as big as I could, without compromising its density, wrapping my tail around the three of them to form a barrier to protect them.
And then, the flaming tornado exploded outwards in a fiery wave, the heat stifling my breath and eliciting a sharp gasp as the force struck me...d-damn, it had been spinning so rapidly that the force is incredibly immense, I don’t think I can hold it back for long!
It spread out in every direction, scorching across the shops all around...everything directly behind me is safe for now, but everywhere else had been set violently ablaze.
I gritted my teeth and focused as I felt my Shadow Cat start to break...this is taking so much Aura to maintain, I can’t keep up with it...!
Right as the force of the tornado began to die down, it broke through the front of my Shadow Cat, and as I hurriedly put up a dark wall in front of myself while crossing my arms in front of my head and neck, the black flames broke through it and struck my arms and torso, burning my skin painfully.
A wave of wind then burst out to clear the dust, as I fell to the ground and collapsed onto my knees in agony, struggling to breathe as beads of sweat ran down my face and body, dripping onto the street.
The back of my Shadow Cat then faded, having just barely lasted long enough to keep the others safe. But this is bad...I’ve never been this low on Aura before, and I’m in a lot of pain right now too.
I bit down on my lower lip to distract myself as I shakily got back onto my feet, as Lucifer approached me with a dark look in his eyes.
"Oh, you are still standing, are you? No matter...I acknowledge your power, but you are no longer a threat to me in your current state. And now, you shall die," He remarked, as he dashed towards me and swung his fist at my head.
I reacted as fast as I could, deflecting his punch with my arm, but the sheer force of his fist fractured my forearm immensely, as I froze up in pain, he slammed his knee onto my midsection, sending my flying up in the air as I let out a sharp gasp of pain.
He then zipped up towards me and balled his fists together, slamming them onto the spot below the back of my neck, as I just barely managed to blunt the force by forming a small amount of my Shadow Cat shroud around that spot.
But the force of his strike still sent me plummeting down to the ground with immense force, my right shoulder slamming onto the pavement and breaking, along with a couple of my ribs.
"Now, you die!" He declared with a smirk, as he aimed a rapidly spinning ball of black flames at me.
And right as he began to fire it, a portal suddenly appeared and swallowed him up, along with the fireball. Huh?
What just happened? Is Neo here? Or is it Anarchy again?
Either way, I doubt I could’ve evaded that, and it probably would’ve killed me, or at least left me in a near-death state...I let out a sigh of relief as I collapsed onto my back, before wincing in pain as the adrenaline faded and all the pain from the damage I’d sustained hit me like a truck...my everything hurts...
