Chapter 38: Summoned
Leo spent the next hour briefing the Meta Humans on the situation at hand. Even though he told them everything he knew, the Meta Humans still couldn’t fully trust him.
"Yes, and I forgot..." He paused. "He kept talking as if the prophecy was about me."
A wave of silence came over the conversation.
"Huh?!"
All their attention turned toward him as if he had said something gravely wrong.
Aisha started looking at Leo in a new way she had never seen him in before. The white hair, the smooth skin, and if Leo had managed to defeat Gara, that meant he had stopped his Eroding Hand Technique.
"You are the prophesied saviour!!" she accidentally blurted out.
"No, it can’t be. You mean that boy is the prophesied saviour chosen by the divine Masa?!" Alex shouted, outright denying the claims Aisha was making.
"He has everything the prophecy said, white hair, and he broke Gara’s technique!" the old lady spoke again.
’These people are really serious about this?’
It was pretty weird to realize that some kind of divine being had chosen him to be the saviour of the Meta Humans,,, oh wait, when you think about it, the goddess did the same thing. But thats going far from the story.
If the things about the prophecy were real, then it came down to two theories. Was the divine Masa the Unknown User? That was the questions circling in his mind.
"So, Leo," Alex called. "If somehow we followed you to the surface, where would we even live? And apart from that, what’s the guarantee that you won’t attack us?"
Leo stayed silent for a second as he prepared to reply.
"Tell me, how large do you think this world is?"
" One hundred and twenty two million kilometer ^2."
"Simple, we’ll just divide Valoria."
"Huh?!"
"On Earth there are these things called continents, where a large patch of land is separated, creating different countries and regions. If Valoria is as large as Earth, then we just have to divide one side and create some rules that separate these two worlds."
"But that’s easier said than done. You humans are greedy, what’s stopping you from breaking the rules," Alex commented, not even trying to hide his suspicion.
"We are greedy, but there is something that guarantees success!"
Leo opened his system screen.
[Printing hologram.....]
A large glowing sphere appeared in the middle of the room, its light bouncing off the walls. It emitted a familiar aura, the same kind of power that had once come from Lord Gara.
"That’s the divine light of Masa!"
When the Unknown Benefactor transported Leo to the Floors , they also granted him Lord Gara’s technique to create the boundaries his plan required. That way, no matter what the humans wanted to do, they would never be able to cross to the other side of the wall.
The Meta Humans gasped at the sight, bowing as they prayed to their god. A ceremony was immediately prepared, with hundreds and hundreds gathering at the meeting point as they worshipped the light.
One of their leaders, who was also a priest, began hearing the voice of their divine Masa as he stood before the crowd. He nodded seriously throughout the entire conversation, looking deeply devoted. After nodding for some time, he ended the conversation and reported the revelation to everyone.
"Our divine Lord Masa says we should follow him. He will help us."
Cheers erupted everywhere. Some raised their hands into the air, celebrating the new development. Some hugged each other, while children screamed with excitement as they played.
It was a simple demonstration of what the Meta Humans truly were—humans with just another eye and a body structure that reacted to the sun.
So it began, the journey of sending the Meta Humans to the surface. It took some time, but all of them prepared to migrate back into their world. Everyone carried whatever they could. Children carried their dolls or wooden toys. Families carried food on their heads, while others used their abilities to transport their belongings.
Doors appeared on the ground, courtesy of their divine Masa. Everyone was eager to feel the sunlight once again, so they didn’t wait for anyone to tell them what to do. They rushed through the doors until no one was left on Floor 25.

As they appeared in the desert, they were welcomed by the General on the other side of the doors. Behind him were twenty empty vehicles.
The Meta Humans were struck with fear at the sight. Some even thought they had been led into a trap and pushed their children behind them so they wouldn’t get hurt if the humans attacked. But as they stood there, the sunlight caused their bodies to flourish.
"You really did it, huh? How many are there?" the General asked as he walked toward Leo.
"Yeah, luckily. Almost three hundred Meta Humans."
"We removed every human from two cities. We can give them those and enough land for houses and agriculture."
"Thanks."
So they headed to their assigned cities with the help of the vehicles provided by the Breakers. As they passed through the streets, people looked at them with different expressions. Some were filled with anger just by seeing them. Others remained indifferent. But Leo had already accounted for all of that, including being painted as the villain.
The whole process took a day. Afterward, the Meta Humans had their own cities, with both the infrastructure and resources intact, courtesy of the Founder. It was good, but it still wasn’t enough since one thing was still left.
Using Lord Gara’s technique, a massive wall rose around the two cities, enclosing a large portion of Valoria that their people could use for centuries to come, separating them from the rest of the world. But Leo assured them that they could always reach out to him through their spy , if they had any problem.
Leo stood just outside the towering wall that now divided the two halves. His gaze lingered on the change he had brought into the world. When he first came to Valoria, he never expected something like this to happen. He had come a long way and had now become an important figure in Valoria.
[Unkown user >Thanks for the help ]
The message appeared on his screen.
[It was you all along, Divine Masa.] Leo replied. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
[I don’t mean to brag, but yeah, it’s me. I’m smart, right?]
[Yeah, you are. If you don’t mind, I have a question for you.]
[Ask away.]
[So how did you know I would come here since the goddess is the one who brought me here, not you?]
[Haha, I just guessed.] A laughing emoji appeared at the end.
[You’ve gotta be kidding.]
[Really. No one can understand the goddess. She’s more mysterious than I am.] fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
She paused for a second, then another message appeared below it.
[Thanks for the favour. Byee.]
Before Leo could ask any more questions, she logged off.
Leo took a second to think about what she had said. A bad feeling crawled into his gut like a child who had stolen candy from a candy shop. But all in all, there were other things to worry about, so he pushed the feeling out of his mind.
’A warm bath would be good just about now.’
Finally, for the first time, he felt like things were going his way. Little did he know, his words had jinxed it.
[You’ve been summoned by the Goddess!!!]
His system screen was covered with the same words over and over again like an alarm.
’What does this old hag want with me?’
Boom!
A massive surge of light from the heavens enveloped Leo like an alien ship abducting a human in a movie.
A surge of power erupted from within the light, lifting him higher and higher until he vanished into the clouds.
