Chapter 243: Her Wedding Dress
(Find the picture of Skyla’s wedding dress in the comment section. Let me know how you find it? I designed it myself.)
After deciding everything at the venue Skyla and Huria headed over to Meena’s boutique to check out Skyla’s dress. It was almost ready with only finishing details left to be dealt with.
Meena wanted her to wear it once, just to check the fitting and design they had prepared.
Although Skyla and Meena had worked together on the design, creating it was a whole different game.
Girls arrived at the boutique. The single-floor building was a marvel in itself with shades of white and gold and silver mirrors. They went inside through the glass door and into the prestigious haven co-owned by Meena and Amsilia now. A place where luxury and comfort shook hands. frёeωebɳovel.com
"Wow!" Huria exclaimed, glancing around with wide eyes.
The interior had touches of gold, from intricately carved fixtures to shimmering accents. Spotless white walls provided a perfect background for the dazzling display of haute couture garments and accessories.
Soft lighting from gold and white wall scones cast a warm glow over the space, adding to the ambience of refined sophistication. Every detail was meticulously kept in mind to create an unforgettable shopping experience for the clients.
"This place is so classy." The girls were still lost in their beauty and delved further when Meena saw them.
"Girls, welcome welcome." She had her endearing smile going on as girls embraced her turn by turn, kissing the air around each other’s cheeks.
"Thank you for having us." Skyla squeezed her hands in delight.
"Your place is luxurious, I love it," Huria singsonged in her excited voice.
"It’s my pleasure that you girls find my humble place such, come let me show you your wedding dress. It’s almost complete." Meena’s words sent this thrill zinging through the girls. Huria rubbed her hands together with an enormous grin coating her face while Skyla shyly smiled.
The concept of marriage with Zyair was something which still threw her off at times but the thought of spending the rest of her life with him always strengthened her heart, like when one knows it in their soul that they are indeed making a correct decision.
Meena led them to an inner vast hall with cream-coloured camelback sofas.
Amsilia was already there, admiring the dress they had put together for Skyla. It has been prepped up on a mannequin.
Seeing Skyla, a smile of pure joy crept up on her face and she rushed to her.
"It’s so good to see you, my child."
They hugged and Amsilia couldn’t help but have her heart swell with pride seeing the growth in Skyla. She was no longer a scared-looking girl but had transformed into a confident woman who knew how to defend the people she loved.
"Likewise, how have you been?" Skyla asked as she held her arms.
"Surviving, one day at a time. But I am proud of you and the woman you have become." The depths of her heart held unconditional love for this beautiful girl.
Huria shook hands with Amsilia as well, the bad blood between them seems to have dissolved now.
Amsilia guided the girls to settle down on the camelback. She sat beside Skyla.
Meena moved towards the mannequin and shifted it slightly so Skyla and Huria could see the wedding gown that had been prepared.
"So what do you think, Skyla? Ready to try it on?" She asked, flashing a smile, her hand behind the mannequin as she stood proud with her creation.
Skyla diverted her attention from Amsilia and finally took in the elegant gown displayed in front of her. The gown she would wear to forever become his.
Her eyes almost blew out of their sockets at the grandeur of the gown that these twmarvellousus ladies had prepared.
It was a timeless A-line, flowing dress which was fitted with a plunging bodice to the sweeping train, creating a silhouette that would flatter her every curve and yet had an air of pure elegance to it.
The material used was luxurious ivory silk satin, chosen for its lustrous sheen and soft drape. Delicate layers of chiffon overlay the satin, adding an ethereal quality to the gown’s movement so it would appear that she was gliding down the aisle.
Each seam seemed to have been expertly tailored to ensure a flawless fit. It was indeed fit for a queen.
Adorning the bodice and trailing down the skirt were hundreds of intricate shimmering white pearls and sparkling silver crystals. They were meticulously hand-sewn onto the gown, creating a mesmerizing pattern as they shimmered under the white pendant lights.
Skyla’s hand flew to her mouth as her eyes remained enlarged in amazement seeing such an exquisite piece of gown.
"Heavens! This is so very beautiful. I love it," she spoke with a little quiver in her voice, her shimmering eyes fixated on the most classy dress she had ever seen and it was hers. And now she couldn’t wait to show it to Zyair by walking down the aisle in it.
The other three women were all smiles seeing her reaction.
"Come, let’s fit you in it and see if all the tailoring has been correct or not." Meena ushered her as two helpers joined them.
"Go go, go," Huria cheered her, looking bedazzled by the magical gown.
Amsilia patted her back as Skyla got up and headed over to Meena. She touched the soft material of the dress, taking it between her fingers, letting herself marvel at its softness and beauty. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
"Come, let’s try it." Meena and her assistants guided Skyla to the changing room.
Skyla removed her skirt and blouse, leaving only her panties and bra. They helped her in slipping on the ethereal dress. Adjusted her bodice and skirt, stretching it down, smoothening it out, laying it out behind her.
It was a perfect fit, every curve of her body adjusted nicely with the silken material as it effortlessly flowed against her smooth skinThe shouldersrs were perfect, not tight or too loose, they were just right. Skyla moved her arms freely just to be sure.
Her chest fitted comfortably as well, it wasn’t tight like a corset so she wouldn’t be able to breathe nor was it too loose to slack, it was just right.
They guided her towards the floor-length mirror so Skyla could see herself before anyone would comment, to find out how she personally liked her dress.
She lifted her eyes and found herself looking like a princess from some fairytale, standing there waiting for her prince charming to gallop down on a horse and whisk her away.
We,ll he would be coming and was no less elegant than any prince.
Finding herself to be looking and feeling extremely beautiful as the dress contrasted so well with her fiery hair. Her awe-filled eyes almost brimmed with happy tears seeing that this dress didn’t feel like a shroud but actually a piece of cloth that held profound meaning for her.
It brought her happiness, not any regrets. Her heart eased and swelled. This time she wanted it and this is how it should have been from the beginning.
"I love it so much," she murmured, her voice trembling from the tons of emotions building up inside of her.
