Chapter 62: Find her!

Gessia

I was worried.

Worried that I had been too rash in making and giving her the red potion. I had been shocked to find out that she was a witch and I had panicked.

Using all the herbs I had at hand, I conceited something that would remove all the extra life energy inside of her which was what made up a witch. Not taking into consideration that it could have adverse effects on the baby.

But after she took it the first day and the second and nothing seemed to happen for weeks, it was hard to not come to t he conclusion that it was fine.

The potion was good. It would also work in making sure that she would never come to fully realize her powers ever again.

She was nothing but a weak omega werewolf without a wolf. Worse than a rut and her only used was to be breed.

Heading out to take my breakfast from the kitchen like usual, something I liked to do since it gave me a chance to speak to the pack. Other times I had them deliver the food. freeweɓnovel.cøm

I did the same thing I did every morning moving around and checking up on the children, talking to the healer who appreciated my presence just as much since my use of herbs was much better than her own old fashioned one.

The ones I concocted specially from my core even had a way of making sure that the werewolf’s felt a temporary increase in strength which they all marveled at.

It was nice to watch them look shocked looking at me wiyh a form of worship in their eyes which I liked.

I stayed a while until the end of breakfast moving to head back to my lab in the alpha building only to be stunned to notice that I hadn’t see Raven.

I could see her two friends and there was no sign of her. More was the fact that they didn’t seem borthered.

Done eating i headed over to them with Xarna already beaming at me with a grand smile getting to her feet. "Teacher Gesso !" She called out after pleading to call me that way.

With grand hopes of being able to do what I did but it was impossible. She learnt a few things and in exchange she was useful. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

"Happy morning," I said in greeting glancing at Raphal Loel’s brother who I was familiar with before whose gaze was focused on another group with children his age.

"...what about Raven? I don’t think I’ve seen her this morning" I asked without beating around the bush as Xarna instantly answered.

"She left a note by her door asking not to be disturbed. Trouble sleeping at night so she decided to make up for it!" Xarna said with an exaggerated sigh and a shake of her head.

"...she’s weaker than us!" Loel pointed out with an understanding gaze. "...we asked the kitchen to save her bowl!" She added ss i slowly nodded my head.

There was no need to remain taking my leave the moment I got the information I came for.

"Can I come see you later?" Xarna asked without beating around a smile her big brown eyes shining bit I knew how sly she was.

Half of the reason she was sticking to me was because she was in love with Rex and with me she had access to the building. "Of course!" I responded taking my leave and heading straight to Raven’s sleeping place worried.

’Has the negative effects finally kicked in? I knew I was being too rash when I made such a potion!’ I thought to myself as I headed there.

At most I should have given her drops. If she so much as chugged the entire thing all the life energy iniside her would instantly vanish and she would die.

On getting to her door, I immediately knocked waiting for her to at least poke her head out but she didn’t. I immediately moved to push the door open.

Unwilling to wait that long in case something had happened. Pushing inside the room even as I glared at all I saw around me.

There room was small and smelled musty but beyond that the bed was empty and there were no signs of her.

’Where could she possibly be?’ I wondered the thought of her running away didn’t even Dawn on me as I instantly headed to the bathroom.

It was bare too and there were no signs that she had been there recently as I looked around stunned.

"Did she run?" I wondered aloud shaking my head to answer my own question. Again, it was hard to believe that she would actually do such a thing.

But the longer I stared at the empty bed and walked out looking around the pack wigh no signs of her the faster I came to the conclusion.

’She’s not here!’ Eyes widening as I instantly dashed towards the alpha building as fast as I could.

It was still morning but closer to afternoon and there were no signs of her. The thought of anything happening to her scared me cause finding an omega was like finding a needle in a haystack.

Completely random and rare. If she died then there would also be no reason why the alphas would treat me well...that much I knew as I dashed over to the building.

Relieved to see all three alphas at the table having finished their breakfast long ago and were simply in the middle of what appeared to be a serious discussion.

"Food is scarce! The animals have migrated! It’s the only conclusion. For whatever reason we need to raid the human colonies next to us!" Axel snapped towards Rex who seemed to not agree with the idea.

Thor like usual leaned into his seat and he was the first to look at me the moment I ran in, a frown settling on his face as I began to speak.

"What’s wrong?" He asked me leaning his arms on the table as I moved closer to the huge table they all sat on.

All their attention shifting to me the moment I got closer enough for me to wonder if they could sense the horror under my words.

"It’s Raven!" I said, "...she’s gone! She’s not in her sleeping place!" I said even as they all furrowed their brows in shock as they fixed their eyes on me.

"What do you mean she’s gone?" Rex asked being the first person to get on his feet as he leveled a glare on me as I returned it.

"She’s not in the pack! She’s ran off! " I told them.

Axel let out a low laughter shaking his head, "...that weakling? I didn’t think she had the guts!"

"We have to find her!" Rex instantly said already moving out of his chair and towards where I stood closest to the entrance.

"...if she’s not already beast food!" Thor muttered under his breath but he got up too, a rare look of interest in his gaze like he looked forward to something instead of the indifferent look he always wore.
