Chapter 62: Chapter 32: Belated Wedding, Honeymoon Photoshoot 3

Jiang Li scratched her head. "Well, we should still discuss this with our parents."

In truth, she also felt it was a shame that she hadn’t taken wedding photos with Shen Yanzhi or gotten to choose a new venue.

But they had already gotten their marriage certificate and held the wedding.

No matter how much she regretted it, that was that.

So she never expected Shen Yanzhi to bring up redoing the ceremony—it was exactly what she’d secretly been hoping for.

However, redoing the wedding wasn’t something the two of them could decide on their own. They still needed both sets of parents to agree.

After all, a wedding wasn’t just about them; it involved their friends and family too.

Seeing that Jiang Li didn’t object, Shen Yanzhi tapped his fingers happily on the steering wheel. "That’s simple. I’ll talk to my parents tomorrow."

Most of the guests at the last wedding had been from Jiang Li’s side. On his, it was only his immediate family. His relatives only knew he’d gotten his marriage license but hadn’t attended a celebratory banquet, so holding another one was perfectly reasonable.

Hearing he planned to tell them tomorrow, Jiang Li grew anxious. "There’s no need to be in such a hurry, is there?"

Shen Yanzhi disagreed, retorting, "Why not?"

He then laid it all out for her. "We have to take wedding photos, right? After the shoot, we’ll have to wait a while for the physical prints."

"For the wedding, we have to get a headcount and schedule a suitable time, don’t we?"

"Besides all that, there’s the wedding dress. That’s not something you can get in a day or two."

Jiang Li was speechless. She had thought Shen Yanzhi’s talk of redoing the wedding was just a whim, but she never expected him to have thought it through so thoroughly.

His company hadn’t relocated yet, so he was mostly handling work online, only occasionally going in to oversee things. "We’re both free during this period, so why don’t we find some time to get our wedding photos taken?"

Speaking of wedding photos, she had found it too troublesome back then. She and Zhao Sinian had just taken a regular photo together and had someone Photoshop it into a set of wedding pictures.

Jiang Li licked her lips. "They say wedding photoshoots are exhausting. Aren’t you afraid of the hassle?"

Instead of answering, Shen Yanzhi asked, "But without wedding photos, don’t you think it’d be a huge regret?"

A huge regret, indeed.

Wedding photos with Zhao Sinian could be AI-generated or Photoshopped.

But with Shen Yanzhi, the photos had to be real. And they had to have a grand, spectacular photoshoot.

Thinking of a grand photoshoot, Jiang Li’s eyes widened, and she suggested, "Why don’t we do a destination photoshoot!"

"We could travel and take wedding photos at the same time, capturing the most beautiful scenery. Imagine how amazing that would be!"

"But I’ve heard destination photoshoots can be a scam. Most of the locations are just artificial sets, crowded with other couples taking pictures."

Shen Yanzhi didn’t want to pour cold water on her idea, but the reality was just as he’d described, if not worse.

Jiang Li wagged her index finger. "The kind of destination shoot I’m talking about might be a little different from what you’re thinking."

"I’m thinking we go travel, treat it as our honeymoon, and just hire someone to take our pictures."

Honeymoon trip!

Those two words seemed to hold a special kind of magic. The mere thought made one’s blood pump with excitement, creating an urge to leave immediately.

"Deal. You can send me the places you want to go, and I’ll plan the itinerary."

At that, Jiang Li was no longer sleepy. She put her milk tea aside, pulled out her phone, and searched for "suitable honeymoon destinations" on Little Red Book, getting a ton of ideas.

After much deliberation, she finally selected eight places. "I sent them to you."

Shen Yanzhi nodded. "Alright. We’ll be there in a bit. If you’re sleepy, you can take a nap."

But Jiang Li was far too excited. How could she possibly be sleepy?

She opened Taobao and started picking out clothes.

Sightseeing outfits? Buy!

Photogenic dresses for the beach? Buy!

Honeymoon nightgowns? Buy!

By the time they arrived back at the villa, Jiang Li was still shopping.

She was in a shopping frenzy—lost in the moment, buying for dear life, completely forgetting she was even in a car.

When the car stopped, she pulled the door open to get out and nearly dropped her handbag on the ground.

It was only thanks to Shen Yanzhi’s quick reflexes that it was saved.

Shen Yanzhi took a sharp breath, the lingering fear still with him. "Alright, get off your phone. Watch where you’re going."

Jiang Li pouted. "It’s just a few steps. And we’re at home. Are you seriously worried I’m going to get hurt?"

’Did I marry a husband or a second father?’

"Bite your tongue!"

You have to admit, people can be surprisingly superstitious sometimes.
