’D...do I try it out?’ Loraine thought to herself, her hands already starting to tremble at the power she just realized she had all this time. [Magical Grasp] could become a nightmare skill, as if [Clean] and [Cleanse] were anything to go off of, [Magical Grasp] was most definitely going to eclipse those two skills by a very wide margin.
Why you may ask? Because [Clean] and [Cleanse] were Common Skills, and [Magical Grasp] was a Rare Skill. It was realm two seats above the other two, so the damage this skill could bring could be catastrophic.
"On second thought...maybe it would be better to use the ladder." Loraine muttered to herself, her face showing true horror at the destruction her powers could bring, so she acted against using it for now.
’What if I accidentally shoot the damn book to outer space?’ Loraine thought, glancing at the Skill Book in her hand as she grabbed the ladder and started to climb up the shelf, placing the Skill Book back in its spot and slowly descending down.
"I would’ve loved to learn that Skill, but Its too dangerous to try and learn right now, it feels strange but...." She glanced over her shoulder, back at the door she closed earlier before Beatrice arrived.
’I understand that I can be lost in activities and lose my focus from time to time, but how on earth did she enter the room so quietly? I didn’t even hear a single sound.’ She thought, a subtle sense of being watched crawling up her spine.
’Is she really just a maid?’ Loraine thought to herself, making a mental note to herself to keep an eye on Beatrice and study her more closely if given the opportunity next time.

Loraine flopped onto the cozy mattress of her bed, a grunt of joy and relaxation hit her all at once, her body finally allowed the quality time needed to enjoy some much needed rest. She had finished cleaning the study not too long ago, and needed a moment to catch her breath without the risk of running into any unfriendly faces.
Her room being the safest, and really the only other option.
’I can finally catch my breath, who knew being a maid could be exhausting?’ She thought to herself, but she knew that it wasn’t as complicated as her Talent made it out to be. She was just really unlucky to be cleaning a house with god-boosted abilities that could hit harder than a wrecking ball.
"Now I can finally claim my rewards too, I’ve been looking forward to this the whole day." Loraine grinned for the first time ever since arriving here, actually looking forward to something in a while.

"Holy!" Loraine felt a strong surplus of energy hitting her body, a strong sense of rejuvenation flooding her veins and wiping off every ounce of exhaustion out of her body, as well as replenishing her drained MP.
’Is that what leveling up feels like?’ She wondered, clenching her hands as she turned her attention back to the influx of system notification pop-ups, the rewards from the Daily Quest being far greater than she had earlier imagined.
’I managed to level up a few levels.’ Loraine thought, glancing at her Status Window, her mind a bit heavy with all the ringing in her ears from all the System Notifications.

’It appears I get 3 points to distribute after each and every level up, not bad, I could work with this.’ Loraine nodded in approval, though she didn’t really like the idea of her skills becoming even stronger.
Not only would they become more harder to control, but they would become far more destructive, especially [Clean] as that would be the Skill she would use most on a daily basis.
"Enough about that, I need to distribute these points. But...where do I put them? I don’t haven’t even thought of what my playstyle is supposed to be?" She muttered to herself, her mind entering her gaming mode she used to reserve after a long grueling day at work in her past life.
She wasn’t thinking about survival anymore, right now her mind was busy indulging in Character Creation.
’[Magical Grasp] is a Telekinetic skill, and would probably cost a lot of magic to use and maintain, so it makes sense to level that up by Investing in my Intelligence Stat. Plus, its my only logical method of combat that I have at the moment.’ Loraine thought, but then her mind wandered back to her [Cooking Excellence], and [Clean] Skill.
These skills didn’t require any Mana to be activated, for better, or for worse, and she would be using them the most except for maybe [Cooking Excellence], as Loraine in her past never cooked for obvious reasons.
"Hmmmm...going by that logic, the smartest thing I can do is invest in my Strength for better physical capabilities and control, Vitality for more health, endurance, and overall stamina, and agility for faster movement and reflexes. Intelligence can be left alone for now, as I won’t have the chance to use magic a lot anyway, not for now atleast."
With her mind made up, Loraine distributed her 12 Stat Points among her Stats the best she could, prioritizing one stat over the other and thinking efficiently.

Loraine felt a strong magical sensation coursing through her veins, her eyes closing in bliss as she felt her arms tense and shift with a strong feeling of power flourishing in her body, her heart rate spiking as the cardiovascular muscle pumped more blood than before, and her senses seemed to sharpened a bit as well, with her ears being able to pick up on small vibrations of her heart hammering against her chest.
"Oh....that felt good!" Loraine thought with a hysterical laugh, feeling a strong feeling of joy and accomplishment. "Now then, let’s turn our attention to the rest of the goodies I ignored earlier." Loraine said, rubbing her hands together as if she were about to indulge in a hefty meal.
