Chapter 1219: Chapter 1219: Unwilling to Let Go of His Hand

Summer Sutton was the last one to come out of the show team. When she saw him waiting for her outside the car, her gaze lingered briefly before quickly shifting away.

With no expression on her face, she calmly walked towards Watt Bennet.

"Summer!" Watt called her name softly and held onto her hand.

Summer Sutton turned her head to look at him, waiting for what he would say next.

There were still so many reporters around, with cameras all aimed at the two of them.

Watt actually knew what Summer Sutton was waiting for.

It’s just that, at the moment, he still couldn’t clearly explain...

Watt remained silent under her gaze for a long time.

This silence made Summer Sutton’s heart go cold once again.

She withdrew her hand from his, didn’t say anything, and walked to the roadside to hail a cab.

Watt followed her out, and Summer Sutton originally thought that today, like yesterday, he would forcefully take her away in front of so many reporters.

But instead, Watt said gently, "It’s too late now. It’s not safe to take a cab by yourself. Let me drive you."

He led her to his car and opened the door.

Since he said so, Summer Sutton believed he wouldn’t do anything.

Without saying anything, Summer Sutton bent down and got into his car.

"Where to?" Watt Bennet asked.

"Ariella Sawyer’s place," Summer Sutton didn’t hide it from him.

She clearly disclosed her whereabouts to him. Summer Sutton’s current attitude, she believed Watt understood.

She wasn’t deliberately avoiding him. Summer Sutton didn’t seek a cold war, throwing tantrums, or breaking up over a disagreement.

Marriage is not easy. Aside from this incident, in her heart, he was always Adrian Walyon, the man who would give his life to protect her.

Because meeting someone like him is so difficult, Summer Sutton didn’t want to give up easily.

She was giving him a chance.

Watt Bennet actually understood everything, but at this moment, he couldn’t say anything.

In the car, the two remained silent all the way.

Driving quietly, Watt took her to Ariella Sawyer’s place.

After Summer Sutton got out of the car, she was ready to go straight into the house, but Watt pulled her hand.

Summer Sutton turned her head and looked at him.

Watt was silent for a moment, then slowly asked, "Are you comfortable living here?"

"It’s fine." Summer Sutton replied simply with two words.

"Is it crowded living with a friend?" Watt seemed to have a lot of worries about her, asking a series of questions, "Is the room small? Are you comfortable with the food and amenities? Do you have enough clothes to change? Is the environment noisy? If you’re not adapting, would you like to..."

He was interrupted by Summer Sutton before he could finish, "Everything is just fine. I am adapting well."

Glancing at the hand holding hers, Summer Sutton calmly said, "If Mr. Bennet has nothing else, you should head back!"

It was already past midnight; Summer Sutton had just finished her work. Watt was worried she was too tired, and although he wanted to look at her more, he eventually let go of her hand.

Summer Sutton didn’t linger outside, she entered the residential area without turning back.

Watt stood stiffly outside, watching her figure leave, watching her disappear into the garden of the residential area, and then quietly watching Ariella Sawyer’s apartment lights turn on, he still didn’t leave.

He stood like that outside the residential area, quietly watching the direction of Summer Sutton’s room, even though he couldn’t see her, he couldn’t bear to look away.
