The sudden movement made Summer Sutton hesitate for a moment.

Summer Sutton stared blankly at his face as he leaned down, her mind a bit empty.

Biting her lip, he gently sucked on it, and suddenly picked her up.
Summer Sutton wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face into the crook of his neck.
"Adrian..." she called out to him softly.
"From now on, if anything happens, make sure I know you’re safe first, understood?" Holding her like a child, Watt Bennet did not make the next move.
He looked at her, his face serious, his gaze filled with indescribable earnestness.
"Yes." Summer Sutton nodded vigorously.
Knowing he was probably no longer angry, she hugged him even tighter.
Watt Bennet should have been furious; the bride went missing at the wedding, taken away by someone, only to escape later without contacting him. He searched for her everywhere for days, which alone was enough to keep the fire in his chest burning for days.
But, he was helpless when it came to her.
No matter how much Summer Sutton upset him, he couldn’t bring himself to be genuinely angry with her for days or ignore her well-being.
His long arms hugged her tighter, turning his face, his lips started kissing her deeply and lightly on her cheeks and neck.
Pressing her against the door, after kissing her for a while, Watt Bennet carried her straight to the adjoining office rest area...

Summer Sutton ended up spending the night at Shining Sky, accompanying Watt Bennet, and by the next morning, she drove back to the villa, planning to bring him two sets of clothes to change.

"Yes." Ryan Walyon responded softly, then asked, "Have you had breakfast? Do you want to join me?"
"No, I just went back and made some porridge to bring over." Summer Sutton raised the thermos she held.
Just as she was about to find an excuse to leave, Watt Bennet’s voice suddenly sounded, "Baby, I’ve been waiting for you for so long!"
The abrupt voice made the two present simultaneously turn their eyes towards him.
Watt Bennet, with his long strides, leisurely walked towards the two of them, his gaze sweeping over Ryan Walyon’s face, full of protectiveness, pulling Summer Sutton into his arms.
