Chapter 1180: Chapter 1180: Too Bored to Bathe Alone

Turning his head coldly to give Summer Sutton a glare, he gritted his teeth and forced out, "Summer Sutton, do you believe I’ll hit you?"

Is there anything he can’t do?

How could Summer not believe it?

"Hurry up!" Summer jogged towards him, pushing him towards the small path on the left.

The roads in the small village were difficult to walk on, especially at night without lights; it felt like walking a runway. If you lost balance slightly, you could step into the adjacent field.

Watt Bennet had a nasty expression on his face the whole way, every time he twisted his ankle, he would turn his head and glare fiercely at Summer.

Summer was scared of him, afraid that he would really hit someone when he lost his temper, so she kept a distance from him.

The night had a faint moonlight.

The misty moonlight added some brightness to the mountain night.

When they arrived at the lakeside, Watt took off his shirt in front of Summer, tossed it aside, and then started to take off his pants.

His long legs waded into the river, ignoring her, he took a bath on his own.

Summer turned her back, intending to keep watch for him.

Behind her, the sound of water from Watt bathing was splashing.

The two didn’t say a word throughout the process.

Summer thought he planned to ignore her tonight, but who knew, after apparently washing away his sweat, he was idle and scanned her by the lake, suddenly pulling her into the lake.

Splash!

A loud sound erupted on the lake’s surface, adding much liveliness to the already quiet night.

Summer fell straight into the lake, getting completely drenched from head to toe.

"Watt!" Wiping the water off her face, she emerged from the lake, glaring at the man behind her, somewhat annoyed.

Watt did not explain his actions at all, pulling her into his arms, lowering his face, his lips forcefully kissed hers.

His strength was intense, rather than a kiss, it was more like a bite.

Yes, it was a straight bite.

Biting so that Summer’s lips felt like they were about to fall off, her scalp tingled with pain.

Summer, provoked by him, didn’t think twice and lifted her leg to kick him.

Panicking, she didn’t care where she kicked him, she just kicked at him.

Watt’s face went stiff, his body spasmed, letting out a painful grunt.

Summer froze for a few seconds, quickly realizing where she had kicked him.

A bit flustered, she looked at him blankly, her mind in disarray.

It took Watt a while to slightly ease the pain in the area where he was kicked, lifting his face, he shot her an angry glance, "Summer Sutton!"

"I didn’t mean to, it’s so dark, I couldn’t see." Summer was afraid of lingering in the water with him too long in case something happened, didn’t dare to even look at him, turned her head, and waded towards the shore with a stagger.

Her gait was somewhat comical, like a penguin, and she slipped and fell several times due to the slippery lake bed.

With water up her nose, she climbed back up, still not daring to look at Watt behind her, hurrying towards the room in a panic.

At this late hour, Watt didn’t stay in the water any longer, with a grim face, he followed her up to the shore.

When they returned to Summer’s room, it was already past twelve.

Summer had to start work early the next day, so after changing clothes, she planned to go directly to sleep.

Watt entered the room, lying on the old wooden bed with her, yet he couldn’t fall asleep tonight.

One reason was that he had too much pent-up anger towards Summer Sutton, the other was because the room they were in had such a harsh environment.
