Chapter 505: Chapter 505 - Epilogue(Part 5)

"Hold on, I’m coming!" I called out, jogging over to the front door as someone knocked on it.

I unlocked the door before opening it, a familiar head of light blue hair marching in before I could say anything.

"Hey, hope you guys aren’t busy, I really need some company."

"Hm? Oh, hey, Arucei, what’s up?" Celes greeted her with a smile.

"Sorry to drop by unannounced, but I’ve had a rough couple of days. Can I have a joint and some wine, please?" She responded with a strained sigh, looking pretty stressed.

She had dark circles under her eyes and a worn out look on her face, her shoulders were slumped and her hair was a bit messier than usual. It doesn’t look like she’s gotten any proper sleep in a while.

"Yeah, sure, we’ve got plenty to spare. Come on, let’s get you comfortable, you should lie down and take it easy," I replied, as we led her to the bedroom.

She flopped onto the bed with a sigh as I took out a few joints from my Item Box, along with a bottle of wine and three glasses.

I sparked up the joint and handed it to her, as Celes popped the bottle open and filled up the glasses one by one.

"So, what’s up? Did something happen?" Celes asked her, as she took a deep puff of the joint before raising her glass and taking a gulp.

"Yeah...one of the representatives I assigned and delegated to made a big mistake with some of the paperwork, and I had to redo a whole lot of it from scratch. It took HOURS to make it all up, and I was completely spent by the end of it," She huffed, before chugging down the rest of her glass and holding it out for a refill as she took another puff of the joint.

"Wow, that sounds pretty rough," I replied, as Celes refilled her glass.

Back in my old life, the paperwork was easily the worst part of running Arcadia, I delegated most of that shit as quickly as possible. So, I can definitely sympathize with her on that front.

"Yeah, that’s an understatement...I felt like my head was going to explode," She grumbled, as she gulped down about half her refilled glass.

She’s, uh, going pretty hard, she’s definitely stressed the hell out.

"Well, forget about all that for now. Just relax and enjoy yourself, there’s no point worrying about work right now," Pointed out Celes.

"I-...yeah, I suppose you’ve got a point there," Nodded Arucei thoughtfully, before adding, "It’s just stressful, you know? Even though things are stable now, a lot of work has to go into maintaining that, and I’m not going to be able to delegate more until my subordinates become more familiar with the work."

"They’re that unreliable?" I responded, as she finally passed the joint, having finished about two thirds of it by herself.

Well, it’s fine, I’ve got plenty more.

"I mean, it’s not their fault, they didn’t have the luxury of being able to afford a proper education. With that in mind, they’ve actually been doing really well. So, it wouldn’t be fair to blow up at them, that’s why I came here...you guys are a safe space in which I can vent without a worry," She sighed wistfully.

"Happy to help, but you should probably figure out a way to balance your workload, this can’t possibly be good for you. I know you keep saying that it’ll get better eventually, but forget eventually, you’re running yourself ragged now," Reasoned Celes, as she reached over and patted Arucei’s shoulder.

"I guess..."

"At the very least, make sure you’re eating and sleeping properly. If you get sick or something, your work will pile up like crazy, so prioritize taking care of yourself," I advised her.

"Crap...I didn’t even think of that," She frowned, her face turning pale.

She’s already slurring...I’d tell her to slow down, but it seems like she needs this right now. In moderation, I think indulging in a few unhealthy habits every now and then is healthy, so long as you don’t go overboard.

"Uh, hey, don’t worry about hypotheticals, you’ll be fine so long as you take the proper precautions. Like Larrk said, get proper sleep and food. I don’t really know anything about running a nation, though, so I can’t really give you any specific advice," Chimed in Celes sheepishly.

"It’s fine, I appreciate it nonetheless. I think I’m eating enough, but I suppose I should be getting more sleep than I am. I’ve just got so much work...it’s never-ending, I get through piles and piles of paperwork only to get slammed with fresh stacks right after I’m done, it feels like I’m losing my mind sometimes! Also, why are your clothes still on?!"

"Huh?" Celes and I blurted out in bemused unison.

"I’ll be blunt...I want you to do to me what you did on the first night we met. Like, totally dominate and command me, make me feel like I’m helpless at your mercy...I don’t know why, but I’m really craving that for some reason," She stated with a huff.

Well, she certainly is honest. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

"We can definitely do that, if that’s what you want," I nodded, as I exchanged a glance with Celes.

"Mhm, for sure! Alright, then, let’s get right to it. First, take your clothes off...and then, I want you to take our clothes off," Instructed Celes with a smirk.

"Okay," Nodded Arucei, a look of anticipation on her face as she swiftly tugged her clothes off, before scooting towards me as Celes gestured to me.

She pulled my shirt off before tugging on my trousers, slipping them off my legs before reaching out towards my torso, a gleam of desire in her eyes.

"Woah, there, slow down...I didn’t say you could touch yet," Smirked Celes.

Well, she’s certainly enjoying herself, isn’t she?
