"Wh-What is this? Our attacks, they aren’t getting through!"
"Keep attacking, there has to be some kind of trick to it!"
"Y-Yeah, that must be it!"
Nope, no tricks here, I haven’t even used any particularly powerful attacks yet.
"How pitiful...compared to sparring against Larrk and Celes, this is almost embarrassing, everyone else is just so weak," I sighed, before I shot forward with a sharp telekinetic burst to launch myself, slamming my palm onto one of their stomachs and unleashing a pressurized blast of telekinesis, sending him hurtling back at a breakneck speed, blood erupting out of his mouth as he crashed onto the wall behind him.
The other one backed away in a rush, firing out a barrage of water blasts at me, which struck my telekinetic defense and bounced off, splashing across the floor.
I’d broken into the mansion of the Noble in charge of the city, massacred most of his guards, and now there’s only one left, trying to keep me from my target. It doesn’t look like he plans on standing his ground for much longer, though, it seems like he’s itching to get out here as quickly as possible.
Right on cue, he fired a blast of water at the ground between us, before spinning around and starting to run away. I sighed before raising my right hand towards him, bringing him to a sudden halt before pulling him in towards me, whipping my left arm across to fire out a slashing telekinetic wave, slicing right through his nape and severing his head as my slash burst through his neck.
His head hit the floor with a thud, bouncing away as his body collapsed and slumped against the carpet, blood pouring out and seeping into the fabric.
Alright, that takes care of all the guards. Now, then...
I approached the door the guards had been defending, placing my hand against it before firing out a pressurized telekinetic burst, blasting the door clean off its hinges, a startled yell ringing out from inside as a loud crash echoed out.
I felt my blood boiling as I entered the room, narrowing my eyes at the figure cowering in the corner, the Noble in charge of this city.
"I-It’s you...! What...what the hell do you think you’re doing?!"
"I have a question for you. I already know the answer, but I’d like to hear you say it...you were behind it, weren’t you? The murder of my family, you orchestrated that, didn’t you?" I inquired, doing my best to hold back from killing him on the spot.
"H-How dare you...you break into my mansion, kill my guards and then make baseless accusations?! You won’t get away with this, I-...!" He snapped, before screaming in pain as I shattered his right knee with a rapid telekinetic blast, blood spraying out as jagged bone shards poked out through his skin.
"Cut the bullshit. You don’t seem to realize the situation you’re in, I hope that enlightened you. I’ll ask again. Were you behind the deaths of my family?"
"I-I have no idea what you’re-...arghhhh!" He howled in pain, as I blasted his left elbow, a sharp crunch ringing out as my attack crushed it, mangling the middle of his arm.
"Alright, then. I’m going to kill you slowly and painfully, I’ll pulverize your flesh and crush your bones, bit by bit, I’ll make sure you don’t die too quickly. Try not to pass out, I want you to feel every single ounce of pain I inflict," I uttered murderously, before he flinched as I took aim at his crotch.
"O-Okay, okay! Y-Yes, it was me, I-I arranged for their deaths!"
"Why?"
"H-Huh?"
"Why did you have them killed? Tell me."
"Th-They opposed the way I ran the city, they were going to rally the Commoners against me, I-I just know it! S-So I-...garrhhh!" He screamed as I blasted his left knee, followed by his right elbow, and then the right side of his chest, blood pouring out of his mouth as he wheezed in agony.
"I can’t do it...no matter how hard I try, I just can’t stay calm. It’s taking everything I’ve got to hold back from blasting you to pieces in one shot...but no, that would be far too merciful. Your suffering won’t end that easily, you bastard," I remarked, before blasting his right calf, a deafening crunch ringing out as I flattened the middle of it, blood spraying out as he shuddered in agony.
"P-Please, spare me..."
"I wonder, how many people have said those exact words to you before? And how many times did you ignore them? If I had to guess...I’d say every single time. Am I wrong?" I inquired, an excruciating scream of pain ringing out as I blasted his crotch, smashing it in.
"W-Wait, don’t...," He mumbled shakily, his words barely coherent, his mouth filled with blood.
"I probably shouldn’t take too long, there’s still a lot more work to do. Alright, a few more blasts and I’ll put you out of your misery," I decided, before blasting his stomach and fully crushing the entire lengths of his arms and legs.
Tears streamed down his face as I knelt down in front of him and clasped my hand around the top of his head, a look of despair in his eyes as he whimpered pleadingly.
But I didn’t feel so much as the slightest hint of mercy or sympathy towards him...quite the opposite, seeing him in this pathetic, mangled state, barely alive, is making me feel really, really good. ƒrēewebnovel.com
This is nothing short of cathartic, I’ve fantasized about this exact moment for so long, and it’s playing out better than my wildest dreams. But all good things have to come to an end...
"Time for you to die," I remarked, before his head erupted in a bloody explosion of skull shards and brain chunks, as I unleashed an intense, pressurized telekinetic burst, killing him instantly.
