"Woah, close one," I muttered, as I shot up into the air as someone charged in towards me from behind and slashed at my back with an axe, landing behind him before backing away and narrowing my eyes as I recognized him.
"Hm? Well, now...I recognize you, you’re that wanted former S-Rank, aren’t you? The Commoner who somehow reached S-Rank, I still can’t believe that was allowed."
"Please, don’t act like you barely know me, you piece of shit asshole, not with how you always went out of your way to give me a hard time, every single time we ever crossed paths," I growled in response.
Nales Delan, one of the stronger S-Ranks in the nation, he has Physical Magic and wields an axe. He had a bald head with several piercings across his ears, blue eyes, a short, thick beard and mustache, a fair complexion, and he was really tall, with a strong, muscular build.
I was definitely weaker than him before. But that isn’t the case anymore. Unlike Larrk, I don’t have any inhuman features, so this jackass hasn’t yet realized that I’m a Unique Monster now. But he’ll find out soon enough.
"Oh, I’m going to enjoy tearing you apart. But don’t worry, I won’t kill you right away...your body isn’t half-bad for a Commoner whore, and while it’s beneath me, I’ll deign to do you the honor of-..."
"Yeah, no, hard pass. I’ve already got a boyfriend, and he’s, like, a billion times hotter than you’d ever be. I’d rather eat dirt than touch so much as a single hair on your vile, rotten head ," I shuddered in disgust.
"Wha-...?! Y-You...you can’t talk to me that way, you lowborn bitch!" He snarled, as he shot towards me and leapt forward, swinging his axe down with a roar.
I sprang back to evade it, a deafening crash ringing out as the blade of the axe slammed onto the ground with immense force, deep cracks spreading out upon impact, thick puffs of dust bursting out as the ground rumbled slightly.
His brute strength isn’t half-bad, but...he’s way too slow. This is going to be easy, a lot easier than I thought it would be.
He growled as he picked his axe back up, charging towards me before lunging forward as he closed in, whipping his axe across at my chest. I leapt up and over his slash, planting my right hand on the top of his head before pushing off of it, landing behind him.
"That all you’ve got, shithead? Alright, then...my turn," I smirked, reaching behind and drawing out my blades, before I shot towards him at full speed.
His eyes widened in alarm before he rushed to raise his axe up defensively, but he was too slow, a sharp cry of pain ringing out as I slashed at his right bicep with my blade, his arm slumping down as blood poured out, streaming down his skin.
As I shot past him, I spun around and unleashed a rapid bolt of black lightning, hitting the middle of his back and eliciting an agonized yell of pain from him, vaporizing the armor around that spot and deeply scorching his skin.
Bits of charred skin and flesh crumbled off as he tightened his grip on the handle of his axe and spun around furiously, before stiffening as I shot straight towards him, faster than he could react, an agonized cry ringing out as I sliced through his left eye, slipping behind him again before whipping my other blade across and slashing through his calves.
He collapsed onto his knees as he gasped in pain, before I plunged one of my blades into the top of his left shoulder, giving the blade a violent twist and eliciting a sharp scream of pain from him, his axe falling out of his grasp and hitting the ground with a clatter as his left arm went limp.
He shuddered in pain as I yanked my blade back out, swinging it across to get the blood off, before strolling around and stepping in front of him, raising my right hand as I sheathed my blades, before hitting his chest with a rapid bolt of black lightning, knocking him onto his back.
I fired a couple of piercing bursts of lightning at his knees, shooting right through them, immobilizing him as I wrecked all four of his limbs.
"Wh-What...what the hell is this? H-How can you be so powerful?!"
"I’ll give you a chance...apologize for the way you treated me, and I’ll finish you off quickly and painlessly," I remarked icily. freёwebnovel.com
"G-Go to hell, you lowly-...gahh!" He began venomously, before I hit the same spot on his chest with another blast of lightning, his flesh sizzling as he gasped sharply.
"Last chance. Apologize," I uttered, as I charged up another mass of black lightning.
"I-I will not, you won’t get away with this, you damned-...!" He snapped, before I fired out a weaker beam of black lightning, hitting his chest and steadily boring into his body.
He let out a stuttering, excruciating yell of pain as my dark, electric beam drilled through his ribcage, bursting into his organs as he thrashed and writhed around, unable to even crawl away with his injured limbs, not to mention the electrocution. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
"Huh, I didn’t think it’d be this easy to take down an S-Rank. Well, with our more out-of-the-box training methods, I suppose everyone else is basically outdated with the standard training practicals of this world. Hm? Oh, you’re already dead, guess I’m just talking to myself," I sighed, my lightning having carved through the middle of his chest, wisps of smoke billowing out as he laid sprawled across the ground.
Ahh, that felt good. I wonder if anyone else who mocked me is in this city? If there are, Larrk’s probably killed a number of them, I bet he’s already done with wiping out the Adventurers in the Guild by now. Alright, I should focus on doing my part and keep going, we’re only just getting started!
