Chapter 1318: Chapter 1318: When Did You Learn to Eavesdrop

Seeing Thomas Fisher’s reddened eyes, Cedric Fisher felt uneasy. He raised his hand and patted his son’s back. He wanted to say something, but when he opened his mouth, he didn’t know what to say.

Cedric Fisher still didn’t say anything, just kept patting Thomas Fisher’s back. After a few pats, he turned and walked towards the study room door.

"Uh?!"

Autumn York was eavesdropping at the door when suddenly the study door opened from the inside, startling her into a yelp.

"When did you learn to eavesdrop?"

Cedric Fisher gave a disapproving look at Autumn York, who was eavesdropping at the door, and walked out of the study towards the bedroom.

Autumn York didn’t immediately follow but stood there peering into the study. She saw Thomas Fisher standing there in a daze, looking lost in thought.

She wanted to go in to see her son, but she didn’t dare to, afraid that she would make him angry.

While Autumn York was hesitating at the study door, Thomas Fisher came out. Seeing him walk towards the door, she instinctively stepped aside.

"Son! What did your dad just say to you?" As Thomas approached, she immediately asked.

"Mom! I have something to do, I need to go out." Thomas Fisher bypassed Autumn York standing at the door and strode towards the house entrance, walking in large and urgent strides.

Watching the figure rushing to the door, Autumn York furrowed her brows in confusion. What on earth did the father and son talk about just now? Why did her son suddenly have to rush out?

Bam!

Hearing the sound of the door closing, Autumn York instinctively looked toward the entrance. Seeing that Thomas Fisher’s tall figure was no longer there, she turned towards the bedroom.

When she walked into the bedroom, Cedric Fisher was holding pajamas, about to go to the bathroom to shower. Seeing her push the door open, he instinctively paused for a moment, but then continued towards the bathroom.

"Wait a minute before you shower, I have to ask you something." Autumn York walked briskly towards Cedric Fisher, calling for him to stop.

"I know what you want to ask, but I don’t want to say anything right now." Cedric Fisher said and walked into the bathroom. He had a lot to say to Autumn York, but he didn’t want to speak at that moment. He knew it would make her excited or even angry.

Her excitement and anger wouldn’t help solve anything. He needed to shower, to calm down and think about how to explain things to her so she’d accept it calmly.

Bam!

Hearing the bathroom door close, Autumn York angrily waved her fist in the direction of the bathroom. Her son stormed out, and her husband hid in the bathroom. Did they both dislike her that much?

Rolling her eyes at the bathroom door, Autumn York stormed over to the sofa, sat down, and picked up her phone from the coffee table. She found Harriet White’s number.

Staring at the number, she hesitated for a moment before calling.

"Autumn! What’s up?"

After a few rings, Harriet White answered the phone.

Autumn York didn’t beat around the bush and directly asked, "Is Kiki home right now?"

Her son had rushed out, but where did he go? She couldn’t get any answers from him, so she decided to get some information from Kiki.
