With the artificial heat created by the false sun taken away, the dune worm was far from its natural habitat.

With this done, Charles emerged from the mouth of the dune worm and sat in a cross-legged position on the sand.
Afterwards, he closed his eyes.
It was time to absorb the essence of the Scorching Greatworm.

The fact that a simple parasite could be Veteran Grade in its own right was frightening in and of itself.
Through this, he had obtained a Veteran Spirit.
This immediately gave him the idea to use it to help break through to the Adept Rank. Although Veteran was the third rank and would present dangers, it was a risk he could potentially take if he didn’t manage to get an Adept Spirit soon.
Also, Charles noticed that he had obtained a new technique, Solar Heart Refinement.
