Chapter 1141: Chapter 1141: What Is Your Relationship with the Boss Lady?

Arthur Sutton picked up the kids from school for the first time, truly experiencing what it feels like to be a father.

Although the two kids still didn’t know his identity.

With Arthur Sutton around, Noah’s feet barely touched the ground, as he was held in Arthur’s arm the entire time.

Chase, on the other hand, acted all grown-up, not only disliking being held, but also refusing to let anyone hold his hand, carrying his backpack and walking beside them on his own.

The three of them walked into Janelle Tollman’s shop like that.

Unexpectedly, just as they stepped inside, Arthur Sutton saw a familiar girl sitting by the sofa.

"Third Brother?!" Audrey Sutton was also shocked to see this scene and immediately stood up to greet them.

Arthur Sutton felt a bit awkward because he hadn’t told his family about his situation with Janelle Tollman.

Audrey Sutton looked at Arthur Sutton with a puzzled and strange expression, then looked at the little girl in his arm and finally at Chase, whose face resembled her third brother’s immensely.

"What...what’s going on here? Third Brother, is this where you’ve been going when you haven’t been home?!"

Arthur Sutton bent down to place Noah down, simultaneously handing the bag he was holding to Noah, and gently said to the kids, "Go have some tarts with your brother over there."

Seeing the two kids walk away, Audrey Sutton widened her eyes and lowered her voice, asking in shock, "Isn’t that really your child?! What is your relationship with the shop owner?!"

Arthur Sutton didn’t answer his sister’s question, trying to change the topic, "How did you end up coming here?"

"I’m picking up perfume! The last one is almost finished." Audrey Sutton wasn’t easily diverted, pulling Arthur Sutton back to the seat they had been sitting in, then leaned towards the two kids, pursuing, "Are they your kids? Just tell the truth!"

After a moment’s silence, Arthur Sutton softly responded "Um" and then quickly added, "Please don’t tell Mom and Dad yet."

Audrey Sutton widened her eyes, "Seriously?! Haven’t you been searching for a long-lost love? How come you already have kids with the shop owner? The kids are even this big!"

"That girl was her. The reason behind it is kind of complicated, but for now, please keep it a secret for me. Once I’ve sorted things out, I’ll bring them back home."

"Why wait? Mom’s worried you won’t find someone. She’d be thrilled to know you have kids this big already!"

"The relationship between her and me is still not fully resolved, so I need some time. Please don’t go back and spill the beans."

Upon hearing this, Audrey Sutton’s mind immediately conjured up those runaway pregnancy drama scenes, quickly asking, "Did you bully the shop owner before? Is that why she won’t forgive you? Do you want me to put in a good word for you?"

"Don’t cause trouble for me, get your things and go home early."

"Third Brother, you better work hard and bring Sister-in-law home for dinner soon."

After saying this, Audrey Sutton dashed upstairs where Janelle Tollman was busy, smiling and saying, "Boss Lady, I need to leave for a bit, let my brother pick it up later."

Janelle Tollman chuckled and nodded, "Alright, I’ll call you when it’s ready."

"No need, no need, my brother is right in the store waiting, you probably know him, right? He’s bought stuff from you several times!"

Janelle Tollman seemed momentarily stunned, then thought about the girl sharing the same surname and cautiously asked, "...Is it Mr. Arthur Sutton?"

"Yes."

Upon realizing this connection, Janelle Tollman paused slightly and then replied casually, "...Oh, I know him, I’ll give it to him later."

"My brother isn’t very good at coaxing girls, but aside from being a tad clumsy with words, he really has no other shortcomings."

Audrey Sutton suddenly threw out this comment, but Janelle Tollman didn’t quite grasp the intention behind these words, simply giving a forced smile and nodding, expression slightly awkward, unsure how to respond.
