Chapter 413: Chapter 415: Encountering a Person
There were other things here besides these ghosts.
In this Horror Park, these were probably just the appetizers.
The ghosts were just the beginning. As Su Nian walked onward, she saw more and more things.
She dragged the skewer behind her, the iron rod scraping against the ground with a harsh, ear-piercing sound. And this time, a man was standing up ahead.
Su Nian had run into a young man wearing glasses and a plain plaid shirt.
The young man had a very plain face, which was currently filled with panic.
He excitedly grabbed Su Nian. "You’re not a ghost?!"
Su Nian’s expression shifted slightly. She narrowed her eyes, sizing up the plaid-shirted man before her.
In that instant, the surrounding air seemed to plummet in temperature.
Su Nian glanced at the man. He seemed to be in a state of extreme terror, his body trembling slightly as he fearfully scanned his surroundings.
"I’ve been watching you for a while. I noticed you’re not like the others here. You’re not a ghost, are you?"
A knowing smile appeared on Su Nian’s face. ’He’s been watching me for a while? Shouldn’t that make him *more* afraid of me?’
Before Su Nian could speak, the man continued in a rush.
"I thought about it for a long time and decided to tell you. You’ve probably noticed too—something’s wrong with this amusement park. It’s basically a ghost park! So, do you want to escape this ghost amusement park with me?"
’Escape?’
Su Nian still hadn’t said a word, but the man kept rambling.
"We can only Stay Alive if we get out of here! This amusement park is full of ghosts! They’re everywhere!!"
Of course, Su Nian had known that for a long time, but hearing it come from his mouth just seemed ridiculous.
So, without any hesitation, Su Nian slapped him across the face.
The man hadn’t even processed it, but as his head whipped to the side from the blow, Su Nian took the opportunity to fling her ghost skewer far away.
It landed and stuck in the ground. Impaled on the rod, the ghosts were completely unable to move or get away easily.
The man in the plaid shirt was stunned by Su Nian’s sudden slap.
His expression turned sullen, a hint of anger already showing.
But Su Nian, channeling an award-winning actress, instantly changed her tune.
"Oh, so you really are a real person! I thought you were a ghost!"
"Hurry and get me out of here! I’ve been wanting to leave this creepy place for ages!"
The man was a little dazed. He blankly touched his cheek, seeming to think her reasoning made some sense.
"So... you want to get out of here with me?"
Su Nian nodded.
The man instructed, "Then let’s go now."
He spoke cautiously, pulling Su Nian closer and leaning in to whisper a reminder in her ear.
"This park... the front is the amusement park, but the back part includes a zoo. But there aren’t any animals in there. I went to check it out when I first got here. It’s all ghosts! It’s terrifying!"
He shuddered, his eyes filled with pure terror.
Then he didn’t dare say another word, and Su Nian spoke up.
"Okay, okay! I’ll go with you!"
The plaid-shirted man’s smile suddenly widened. He stared at Su Nian with a strange, fixed gaze, and his words turned sinister.
"Good. Then we’ll go together. That’s right, you need to walk a little faster. I just couldn’t bear to watch you walk to your death, so I was kind enough to warn you."
After Su Nian agreed, his attitude became stern instead.
He even gave a harsh warning, "If you go looking for trouble later, I’m not going to be responsible for you!"
Su Nian also changed her previous attitude. She looked at him with a trusting expression and even stomped her foot lightly to show her complete trust!
It’s just that where she stomped, two small pits appeared in the ground.
Su Nian said in a cloyingly sweet tone.
"Wait for me just a sec~"
