Chapter 412: Chapter 414: Stringing Them Up

The stalemate dragged on for some time. Su Nian gripped the door, while the ghost trembled inside.

The ghost watched Su Nian pull at the door and slowly backed away. None of this felt right.

’I have to be careful, or she’ll eat me!’

As he thought this, he cautiously glanced back at the skewer in Su Nian’s hand.

It was crammed full from one end to the other.

He only needed one glance to know he was done for.

He complained inwardly, ’Even ghosts have principles!’

Then he started cursing the Heavenly Dao in his mind. This was his first time being a ghost, and he’d thought he would be invincible.

But who would have thought this human would be skewering ghosts like chunks of meat!

He immediately wanted to run, but Su Nian was holding the door shut, preventing him from moving.

The ghost panicked.

’Where the hell did this psycho come from?’

’Weren’t we told there would only be little snacks here?’

He recalled how his soul had been drawn here right after he died. Someone had tipped him off that this world would eventually belong to ghosts and monsters.

That was the only reason he’d been willing to stay in this strange world. Later, when he heard that the Heavenly Dao was creating ghosts here, he was ecstatic. ’Didn’t that mean my bet paid off?’

He thought he could finally turn his fortunes around, going from a nobody to a major figure.

They all vowed to guard this place with their lives. The Heavenly Dao sent over plenty of people, and the ghosts ate every last one.

But who would have thought that the one sent in this time would be a complete Demon!

In truth, Su Nian knew full well that the Heavenly Dao hadn’t sent her here on a mission. It had clearly sent her here to die.

This was clearly a nest of ghosts, perhaps even one created by the Heavenly Dao. There was no logic to this place at all—ghosts were just trying to eat people at every turn.

The Heavenly Dao had taken it for granted that this place was filled with top-tier Evil Ghosts and that Su Nian would certainly die.

But it never imagined Su Nian could take them all down bare-handed, tormenting these ghosts until they were in a pathetic state.

The ghost hiding in the Ferris wheel car watched, its face shifting from pale to ashen. It had to be said, this was a much better look than its usual pitch-black form.

The old woman from before was still dangling from Su Nian’s grasp.

But when she sensed that Su Nian’s focus had shifted, she looked around. ’Better to fall into anyone else’s hands than be stuck with this little monster.’

The old woman patted her nearly-falling-out dentures and began to move with extreme caution.

She wanted to escape from Su Nian, giving herself a silent pep talk. ’My luck can’t possibly be this bad again, can it?’

But the moment she moved, Su Nian noticed. She immediately hoisted her up and skewered her cleanly onto the stick.

The old woman let out a shriek, but in the next second, Su Nian squashed her head flat.

This display stunned the ghost in the Ferris wheel. With the old woman’s addition, the stick looked even more crowded.

The two Little Ghosts, who had been wailing all along, now struggled even harder, howling for their mommy.

The stick was now incredibly lively. A few of the other ghosts were even complaining, asking everyone to squeeze in a bit more.

The cacophony was like being on a public bus. Having dealt with the old woman, Su Nian’s eyes once again fell upon the ghost in the Ferris wheel.

The ghost was out of options. The car wouldn’t move, leaving him trapped.

’And by the looks of it, this female Demon definitely isn’t going to let me go.’

’There’s no escaping this disaster!’

He thought despairingly as he cautiously eyed the door again. Cracks had appeared where Su Nian had been pulling on it.

With another mighty pull, Su Nian tore the door apart. She held the skewer in one hand while reaching in with the other. As the ghost stared in horror, she grabbed him, lifted him into the air, and then skewered him onto the stick.

Su Nian’s goal was to skewer every single ghost in Horror Park!
