When she feels the movement of getting out the dagger, she swiftly moves from underneath him, making him tumble from her back and to the ground. He loses the dagger as he slams to the ground, the wind knocking out of him. Winter makes short progress of him, ripping his throat out and spitting it out besides the dead man. She sniffs the dagger, one of her tails glow, making the warriors foxes whine in shock and excitement. She blows on the dagger, and it disintegrates on the ground. She is not taking any chances either.
When Winter looks up again, the fox warriors are once again on their front legs in a deep bow. I don’t think they counted on her having powers, even though she clearly used some to summon them. Maybe that was just regular fox magic? What do I really know?!
