"There is going to be a blue moon in a month, I think that is going to be the time to have the ceremony. It also gives you guys time to plan, and we all know the power of a blue moon. I want to propose to her, but you are also right. I need to ask Kiara and talk to her about our future. Maybe she doesn’t see herself marrying or having children. It would devastate me, but I would not leave her for it." I make a face again.
Amber lets me vent for a while, her expression showing all of her emotions. Mostly she feels sorry for all my doubting and self kicking.
"Maze, to be a King is hard. But you have your Queen now. You need to treat her like it. She is your equal. Berating her for taking in a new pack member was wrong. Something I know, you know! Stop trying to be someone you are not. You are incredible, but you need to be excellent, and I know you can do that. You are already mending your failures, but you still have a way to go yet." I nod into the crystal. She is absolutely right. I always enjoy talking to my sister, even when she is being an annoying know-it-all like now.

"Hi bro! Sorry to disturb you, but we need to steal our mate now. We have some official business to attend to this morning with the little ones." Chase says with an excusing expression. I nod and tell them all goodbye. Amber has given me a lot to think about. She is right about Kiara. Maybe she doesn’t even want me to propose to her. I hope that is not the case.
I walk from my office to our room, my mind buzzing with what Amber said on our call.
Kiara is getting dressed when I come back, and I cock my head to the side. That was not a long bath she took.
"Hi baby. I thought I would catch you in the bathtub." I tell her with a smile, as I snake my arms around her and kiss her neck. Kiara giggles.
"You have spoken to Amber for almost 2 hours, Maze." She says, and I look at her in shock. Has it seriously been that long? I look at the time and she is right. I have indeed spoken to my sister for over 2 hours. Damn.
"Okay, I’ll get ready for breakfast and we can go down together." She nods with a hum, and I leave her to do her thing in the bedroom.
"Babe?" I call from the closet, buttoning up the dress shirt. I am going to the firm today, so I have to dress a little smarter.
"Yes?" She asks from the door. She whistles, looking me up and down as if I am a piece of delicious meat. "Damn!" She says, a slow smile lurking in the corner of her mouth.
"Do you want to come to work with me today, or do you want to stay here with the girls?" She thinks for a minute, still eyeing me in my suit.
"I’ll stay with the girls today, but I want to come some other day maybe?" She says with a question. I nod with a smile.
"Also, I have a question for you, little minx." I say, coming to her and pecking her lips.
"Mmh?"
"Would you want to get married one day?" Kiara’s eyes widened.
"With you?" She asks, and doubled over laughing when I just stare at her blankly. "Sure! I would want to claim you in every way I possibly can. Those bitches in your firm better keep their hands to themselves or we are going to have a problem." She says with a possessive growl. Damn that’s hot! "Why are you asking?"
"Because I don’t want to embarrass you with a proposal if you’re not on the page of marriage." I tell her honestly.
"I love that! Thank you, Maze." She leans in and kisses me softly. "But I would love to be your wife one day." She says, tapping my butt. I laugh.
"We also need to discuss the Luna ceremony." I tell her as we exit our room and go downstairs to eat.
"There’s a blue moon in a month." She replies, and I can’t help but feel pride. "Could we do it there?"
"That was actually what I wanted to suggest to you." I tell her. We enter the kitchen where all the ranked members and parents are gathered to eat. Talk is going lively, which is amazing. Both the twins and triplets parents have practically adopted the girls knowing them one day. They can see how much they mean to their sons. Both Callie and Elena are marked, which does not go unnoticed by me or Kiara. I congratulate the guys, while Kiara hugs the girls close.
An Omega comes over with a plate of each of us, as another pours us drinks. When they leave again I clear my throat.
"We have decided to have the ceremonies for all the girls during the blue moon in a month." I announce, holding Kiara’s hand. Mom, aunt Ellie and aunt Lauren squeals. "I appreciate that, and I want your guidance, but I also want to be involved." She tells them, to which mom just waves her hand. I shoot Kiara a look and she starts eating. She knows it’s no use discussing this right now. She asks if all the women could gather in her office after breakfast to talk it over, and everyone agrees.
