Chapter 64: Kicking Wolf Butts

Misho nodded his head at her. Without her help, he and Maia might’ve died together. It was horrifying to see Maia almost get killed by a wolf. This game was very realistic, after all.

WristRose smiled at him. She found him likable.

"Help me check if they are dead or alive," WristRose said.

Misho stood up with his spear and walked behind her. They approached the burnt wolf, and she kicked its butt.

There was no response. Well, it was stabbed multiple times, so it was a given.

"It’s dead. As wolves, they wouldn’t be able to accept it if someone kicked their asses," WristRose explained. ƒrēewebnovel.com

"How did you know these things?" Misho asked as they walked to the next one.

"The NPCs taught us the other day. Forest Wolves are very territorial monsters. Like what happened today, they would block anyone trespassing into their territory," WristRose continued.

After she finished speaking, WristRose kicked the wolf that Misho killed with the help of her Chain of Thorns spell. Similar to before, there was no response.

"You try kicking the next one," WristRose said.

Misho nodded his head and walked to the wolf he killed when it was running for him. Its Blood spilled everywhere due to the huge slash wound.

"No response."

"Great. The two of you seemed to have done well," WristRose replied.

"Thanks."

Misho approached the wolf Maia shot down with her spear.

*ARuuu...*

The wolf cried weakly when he kicked its butt.

"This one is still alive," Misho said.

He glanced at WristRose, and she nodded her head.

*STAB*

Misho ended the wolf’s misery. It was powerless, and Misho felt weird when he killed it. It was nothing to kill them when they were attacking to kill him, but now that it couldn’t resist, it felt wrong.

"Feels wrong, right? Don’t worry. It would’ve died anyway. It already suffered a lot of internal damage from the spear."

WristRose could fully understand what Misho was feeling right now. She went through the same experience before. Since they were from a peaceful society, violence was something they would rarely experience.

"I know. It’s just my first time," Misho replied and gave one last look to the dead wolf.

He was sure that he would be able to get used to this as he played the game more and more.

Misho kicked the last wolf, which he and Maia killed together. It had no response.

"That’s it. Let’s go carry Maisha into the carriage," WristRose said.

"Yes."

"Wait! We will do it!" MadPolygon shouted.

He and TonkotsuRamen stood beside each other. They wanted to help because they had no contribution to the fight earlier.

"Sure. Be careful," Misho replied.

He was fine with them carrying Maia. MadPolygon and TonkotsuRamen nodded their heads and carefully lifted Maia up from the ground.

"Come with me to the front," WristRose said to Misho.

"Okay."

Misho followed behind her, and they arrived at the front of the caravan.

Jabber was using a large knife and sawing the head of the large wolf off.

"Ugh..."

"..."

Misho was visibly disgusted, and WristRose had a disgusted look on her face. It was a very gory process.

"Good Job back there!" Joga said with a happy smile on his face.

"Thank you. WristRose helped us a lot," Misho humbly replied.

"So you and her are also Essence Sea-stage cultivators?" another NPC asked.

He was wielding a metal spear of his own.

"Yes. We cultivated together."

"Ah! So you two are married? I’ve seen you two hold hands," the NPC replied as he understood.

"No, no. We’re not married," Misho said and furiously shook his head. ƒгeewebnovёl.com

"Hmmmm... So you and Maisha cultivated together?" WristRose asked.

She noticed something from what he said. Cultivating together between a man and a woman in this game meant only one thing. It was s*x.

"Yes..."

Misho felt uncomfortable answering her question. She looked at him as if he had done a horrible crime.

"It makes sense then. Jabber and I did the same," WristRose replied and smiled widely.

Unlike Misho, she didn’t care if other people knew she and Jabber were having s*x to cultivate. She was that kind of person, after all.

"Yeah." Misho nodded his head.

"Ah, my name is Krogar. I’m an Essence Sea-stage human cultivator," the NPC said to Misho.

"I’m Quarter Pounder," Misho replied.

The two of them smiled at each other.

"Quarter? Huh, people these days have weird names," Krogar murmured with a confused look on his face.

"Ahahaha..."

Misho forced himself to laugh. He couldn’t excuse himself even if he wanted to. His name was just that horrible.

"I’ve tasted the flesh of an Essence Sea Forest Wolf before. You guys will like it," Joga said to them.

Misho looked toward the dead Alpha Male and saw its head was already decapitated off. Jabber went and lifted its bottom. Blood spilled out to the dirt road.

"That’s a lot."

Misho felt uncomfortable seeing such a big pool of blood. It reminded him of the scene when they killed the goblins in the village.

"They do this with cows, you know? Crazy, right?" WristRose added.

"Really?"

"Yes. That’s why I’m a vegetarian." She nodded her head.

"Wait, then why did you eat wolf meat?" Misho asked.

"I’m not a vegetarian here, if you know what I mean," WristRose replied and winked at him.

"I get what you mean."

The two NPC Essence Sea cultivators left the caravan and circled the area. They tried to look for the Alpha Female as it should be with the pack. It wouldn’t make sense for there to be a pack without an Alpha Female.

After half an hour of checking, they returned. Throughout that duration, Misho watched how Jabber dissected the huge wolf. He wanted to learn this skill for himself, so he could do it when he and Maia traveled.

"No signs of the Alpha Female," Krogar said as he walked to them.

"Forget it then. It might’ve died before," Joga replied.
