Chapter 302: Chapter 302: The Last Promise
The mansion was crumbling, and the air was filled with countless chaotic energies, each more dominating than the other.
As the space jump ripples from Xing Luoguang’s departure settled, Miao Qing moved with a grace that defied the chaos. He reached out, his fingers glowing with a soft amethyst light, and touched the black shackles binding Feng Yanshen.
With a sound like snapping silk, the "God Slaying Shackle" shattered.
Feng Yanshen immediately surged back into his human form. His face was pale, his white robes torn and stained with phoenix blood.
The moment he was free, he lunged forward, his fist glowing with nirvana fire, and punched Miao Qing squarely in the chest.
Miao Qing didn’t dodge. He took the hit, stumbling back, but he didn’t stop smiling. "Feng Yanshen," he said, his voice calm and airy.
"Even if you are powerful enough to challenge the Gods, you are still beneath the heavens. You cannot interfere in the core of fate."
"Move!" Feng Yanshen roared. But suddenly, he froze. His white eyes glazed over, and a terrifying vision flashed before his mind’s eye.
He saw a cold dark void. He saw a lifeless body floating in the abyss. It was Yue Yue.
The High Priest, the man who held the spiritual fate of the empires, turned as white as paper. He looked at Yue Yue, who was standing in the middle of the hall, looking lost and broken. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"Miao Qing... what is this?" Feng Yanshen whispered, his voice trembling.
"You don’t have the right to stop the future," Miao Qing replied, his eyes turning cold. "If you try to change her fate now, the consequences will fall even harder on her. Are you prepared to let her suffer a fate worse than death?"
"So you’re saying I should just allow my Yue to die?!" Feng Yanshen screamed, his voice cracking with a despair that made every man in the room shudder.
The other villains... Han Soi, Cang Yuze, and Xing Luoye all froze. Their heads snapped toward Feng Yanshen. The word "die" echoed through the hall like a death knell.
While the men were paralyzed by the prophecy of her death, Yue Yue was experiencing a different kind of hell.
Her mind was being bombarded by red flashing notifications from her system. It was no longer a helpful guide; it was a screaming executioner.

[COUNTDOWN: 10, 9, 8...]
Yue Yue looked at her husbands. They were already crowding around her, their faces masks of terror and possessive rage.
"Yue Yue, you aren’t allowed to leave us!" Han Soi grabbed her hand, his grip almost bruising. "I don’t care what that cat spirit says! No one is taking you!"
Yue Yue looked at them, the men she had been sent to "tame" and save. She knew their nature.
They were the villains of this world. If she died, they wouldn’t mourn peacefully; they would tear the stars out of the sky and burn the universe to the ground.
"Listen to me," Yue Yue whispered, her gemstone blue eyes filling with tears.
She reached out, touching Han Soi’s cheek and then Cang Yuze’s hand. "All of you... just be good boys. Please."
"Yue Yue, what are you saying?" Cang Yuze’s voice was frantic. "Don’t say it like a goodbye!"
"I have to go," she said, her voice growing urgent as the countdown hit 5.
"But you have to promise me. Promise me that no matter what happens, you will not destroy this world. Don’t let the darkness take you again."
"Why are you asking this?" Han Soi exclaimed, his eyes bloodshot. "We don’t understand! We’re coming with you!"
"PROMISE ME!" Yue Yue screamed, her voice echoing with a desperate, paranoid fear.
She knew that if they didn’t promise, her entire existence, everything she had worked for to save this world, would be for nothing.
The men looked at her, terrified by the look in her eyes. They had never seen their "little female" look so fierce and so broken at the same time.
"We promise," Feng Yanshen finally whispered, his white eyes shedding a single tear. "I will do as you ask. We will hold this world together... just come back to us."
[COUNTDOWN: 1... 0.]
"I’ll try," Yue Yue whispered.
In a flash of blinding white light, Yue Yue’s figure vanished from the center of the hall. She was gone.
For a heartbeat, there was total silence. Then, four simultaneous, soul ripping screams erupted from the mansion.
"YUE YUE!" freёweɓnovel.com
The power unleashed by the four villains was so great that the mansion finally collapsed.
The earth cracked open, and a shockwave of raw, unbridled energy blasted the Zerg horde for miles.
The beasts had been unleashed. The gentle refined orcs are gone.
Yue Yue’s vision cleared, and she was no longer in the mansion. She was standing on a floating rock in the middle of a swirling dark nebula, the "End of the World" zone.
A few yards away, she saw him.
Xing Luoguang was kneeling on the edge of the floating island. His clothes were shredded, and his hands were wrapped around Lin En’s throat. Lin En was gasping, her face blue, her high tech gear shattered.
Luoguang’s eyes were no longer black; they were a glowing, terrifying red. He looked like a demon from the deepest pits of hell.
"Die..." he rasped, his fingers tightening. "For her... you must die..."
Yue Yue stood there, her heart hammering against her ribs. She looked at the man she loved and the monster she had to save to keep the world alive.
Only ten minutes, she thought, her hand trembling as she reached for her sword. I have to save the woman who ruined my life, or I lose everything.
