Chapter 209: Chapter 209: Welcome to the Sea Empire (01)

More than a week passed quietly after the events on the spaceship. During those days the large fleet continued traveling through space without interruption.

The journey was long, but the atmosphere was much calmer now. The wounded had recovered slowly, the tension between the different empires had cooled down, and the ships were finally approaching their destination.

At last, the fleet of the Sea Empire finally arrived at the Sea Empire.

When the main spacecraft slowed down, Yue Yue stood near the viewing window and looked outside with curiosity. She had heard many things about the Sea Empire before, but this was the first time she was actually visiting it.

At first, she saw nothing unusual.

In front of them stretched an endless blue ocean that seemed to go on forever. The sunlight reflected beautifully on the surface of the water, creating a bright silver shimmer that looked almost magical.

Yue Yue blinked in surprise.

She had expected the Sea Empire to be located on some giant islands scattered across the ocean. That was what most people imagined when they heard the name "Sea Empire."

But there were no islands.

Only endless water.

For a moment she thought perhaps the spacecraft would land on a hidden platform somewhere on the sea.

However, what happened next completely shocked her.

The massive spacecraft slowly lowered itself toward the surface of the ocean. The moment it touched the water, instead of stopping, it continued moving forward.

Then it began descending directly into the sea.

Yue Yue’s eyes widened instantly.

"We’re going underwater?" she murmured in disbelief.

The ship passed through the surface of the ocean with a gentle splash, and blue water immediately surrounded the entire vessel. The bright sunlight above slowly faded as they sank deeper and deeper into the sea.

Inside the ship, the lights automatically adjusted to the darker environment.

Soon a mechanical sound echoed softly through the cabin.

The structure of the spacecraft began to shift.

Several outer panels moved and sealed tightly, while the propulsion system changed modes.

The large space vessel was transforming.

Within minutes, the spacecraft had converted into a powerful submarine designed for deep-sea travel.

Yue Yue pressed her hand lightly against the transparent viewing panel as she stared outside with amazement.

All around them, the deep ocean stretched endlessly.

Strange glowing fish swam past the vessel in large groups. Some creatures looked completely unfamiliar, their bodies shining with natural blue and green lights.

Massive underwater plants swayed gently in the ocean currents like floating forests.

It felt like they had entered an entirely different world.

The submarine continued moving deeper for a long time. The water around them gradually became darker, but the ship’s powerful lights illuminated the surroundings clearly.

After what felt like a long journey beneath the ocean, something incredible finally appeared in the distance.

Yue Yue leaned closer to the window.

Her eyes widened again.

Far ahead, a massive glowing structure slowly came into view.

At first, it looked like a giant sphere of light floating on the ocean floor.

But as the submarine moved closer, Yue Yue finally understood what she was seeing.

It was a city.

An enormous underwater city.

The entire city was protected by a huge transparent barrier that looked like a gigantic bubble resting deep beneath the sea.

The barrier separated the city from the surrounding ocean.

Outside the bubble, dark blue seawater flowed endlessly.

Inside the bubble, however, there was no water at all.

Bright lights illuminated wide streets and tall buildings that stretched across the city. Elegant towers rose toward the top of the barrier like underwater palaces made from crystal and silver metal.

And most surprisingly of all...

People were walking around inside.

Yue Yue stared in disbelief.

Through the transparent barrier she could clearly see citizens moving along the streets. Some were walking calmly, others were riding small vehicles that floated smoothly above the ground.

They looked completely normal, as if they were living on land.

"There’s... no water inside," Yue Yue whispered in amazement.

It looked like the entire city existed in a perfectly controlled environment.

The enormous bubble surrounding it acted like a shield, holding back the crushing pressure of the ocean while creating a safe, breathable atmosphere inside.

From the outside, the city looked like a glowing pearl resting quietly on the ocean floor.

The submarine slowly approached the massive barrier.

As it came closer, Yue Yue noticed a large opening forming on one side of the protective bubble. The barrier separated slightly, creating an entrance wide enough for the vessel to pass through.

The submarine carefully moved inside.

The moment they crossed the barrier, the dark seawater disappeared from view.

Outside the window now was a bright and lively city full of movement.

Clean roads stretched in all directions, tall buildings reflected the artificial sunlight above, and groups of people walked peacefully through the streets.

It felt like entering a completely new civilization hidden beneath the sea.

Yue Yue could not hide the amazement on her face.

"So this... is the Sea Empire," she whispered softly.

The legendary underwater empire was far more incredible than anything she had imagined.

After the submarine entered the great underwater city, the vessel finally stopped at a large docking platform near the center of the capital of the Sea Empire. The hatch slowly opened with a soft mechanical sound, and fresh air flowed gently inside the cabin.

Soon, Yue Yue stepped outside together with Han Soi, Feng Yanshen, and Xing Luoye.

Waiting for them near the platform was Cang Yuzain.

He greeted them politely before beginning to guide them through the wide streets of the underwater capital.

Yue Yue’s eyes were shining with curiosity the entire time.

The city looked even more beautiful when seen up close.

Tall crystal-like towers reflected the soft light shining from above the protective barrier.

Elegant bridges connected different buildings, and small glowing plants grew along the sides of the roads like natural decorations.

Everything felt calm, bright, and full of life.

After walking for a short distance, they arrived at a large open square where a very elegant carriage was waiting for them.

But it was not an ordinary carriage.

The vehicle itself looked beautiful, made from shining white metal and decorated with delicate blue patterns shaped like waves and seashells.

However, what truly caught Yue Yue’s attention were the creatures pulling it. freewebnσvel.cøm

Her eyes widened immediately.

In front of the carriage stood several magnificent sea horses.

These were not small creatures like the ones she had seen in videos before. These sea horses were large and graceful, almost the size of normal horses. Their bodies shone with faint blue scales, and long flowing fins extended from their backs like soft silk ribbons moving in the water.

They looked noble and powerful at the same time.

Yue Yue could not hide her excitement.

"Sea horses..." she said softly while staring at them with sparkling eyes.

Seeing her reaction, Cang Yuzain smiled faintly.

"Please," he said politely, gesturing toward the carriage.

The four of them stepped inside the carriage, and soon the sea horses began moving.

To Yue Yue’s surprise, the carriage moved extremely smoothly and quickly. The sea horses glided through the city streets with incredible speed, almost like flowing water itself.
