The buildings of the Sea Empire passed by quickly outside the window.
Yue Yue leaned slightly toward the window as she looked outside with bright curiosity.

The entire city looked peaceful and majestic.

"Does the Sea Empire not even have enough resources to afford a fleet?"
His tone sounded slightly mocking.
However, instead of getting angry, Cang Yuzain simply laughed lightly.
"It seems the High Priest is not aware," he replied calmly.
"These sea horses are extremely rare creatures."
He gestured toward the elegant animals moving swiftly through the streets.
"They are actually more expensive than many fleets."
Then he added with a faint smile,
"I believe Lady Yue Yue would like them."
"So my emperor father specially arranged this carriage for her."
Hearing that, Feng Yanshen paused slightly. Cang Yuzain continued speaking calmly.
"Do not worry. They are incredibly fast."
"We will reach the palace very soon."
For a moment, Feng Yanshen said nothing. Then his gaze slowly moved toward Yue Yue. He suddenly noticed something.
She was smiling. Her eyes were shining brightly as she looked outside the carriage window, clearly fascinated by everything around her.
The beautiful streets.
The glowing buildings.
The rare sea horses. She looked genuinely happy. Feng Yanshen was slightly stunned.

In front of them stood a magnificent structure built from shining blue crystal and silver metal. Tall pillars rose toward the dome of the great underwater barrier above, and countless glowing pearls were embedded along the palace walls, illuminating the entire area with a soft ocean-like light.
The sea horses gradually stopped in front of the grand entrance.
The carriage door opened.
Cang Yuzain stepped down first before turning around politely to guide the guests.
Soon, Yue Yue stepped down from the carriage, followed by Han Soi, Feng Yanshen, and Xing Luoye.
Yue Yue’s attention, however, was not on the palace.
Her eyes were completely fixed on the sea horses standing beside the carriage.
Up close, they looked even more beautiful.
Their scales shimmered softly like liquid sapphire, and their long flowing fins moved gently in the water-like air of the underwater city. Their large eyes looked intelligent and proud, almost like noble beasts guarding a royal chariot.
Yue Yue could not stop staring. A sudden urge appeared in her heart. She really wanted to touch them.

Before he could finish speaking, Yue Yue had already stretched out her hand and gently touched the side of one sea horse’s neck.

Then the sea horses suddenly reacted. Their eyes flashed sharply, and they immediately reared up violently.

The man’s grip was steady and powerful.
With a sharp pull and a low command, he controlled the agitated beasts instantly.
The sea horses struggled for a moment before slowly calming down under his control.
Everything happened within only a few seconds.
Yue Yue blinked in shock. She realized she was now being held tightly in the arms of Feng Yanshen.
His arms were wrapped protectively around her as if shielding her completely from danger. His expression was dark and tense.
"Are you hurt?" he asked in a low voice.
Yue Yue shook her head slightly. Then she slowly peeked out from his embrace.
Her gaze moved toward the person who had just controlled the sea horses. And the moment she saw his face...
She froze.
Standing beside the carriage was an incredibly handsome man.
His tall figure looked calm and elegant, and his long dark hair flowed smoothly behind him. His eyes were deep and sharp, carrying a quiet authority that made the sea horses obey him without hesitation.
But what shocked Yue Yue the most was something else.
His face looked extremely familiar.
So familiar that she had seen it countless times before. Her breathing slowed.
Yue Yue stared at him with wide eyes.
