Chapter 95: Another Outbreak
That day, Theodore rested in his house, slept until noon, and then chose to spend his time in the sacred dimension. It turned out that when Theodore was in the sacred dimension, his vegetables could not be harvested, and it still took time before they could be harvested.
Theodore just spent his time lazing around in his house. He had thought of making some dishes that could be stored for a long time.
However, before he had time to do anything, Theodore heard the sound of a siren, which was a warning sign to alert the residents of the base.
"Why are they suddenly sounding the warning alarm?" Theodore was frowning in confusion at this time.
Curious about what was happening inside the base, Theodore moved out of his apartment to investigate.
Many thought like him. When he walked down the stairs, Theodore saw several people who also wanted to go to the lobby.
"What’s going on? Why is there a sudden alarm?!" freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"I don’t know. But all I know is that the alarm was sounded to announce that a zombie had entered the base."
"No way!"
Theodore’s face did not look good when he heard the words of the people who walked with him to the ground floor lobby.
Theodore was thinking of rushing to the military headquarters to ask what was happening at the base. Fortunately, the distance between Theodore’s apartment building and the army base was close.
So, it only took Theodore a short time to get there. Theodore rushed to the barracks belonging to Victor’s group.
What Theodore didn’t expect was that the situation there was so chaotic. He quickly looked for Roderick or Victor to ask about the current situation.
"I’m sure something bad has happened. Couldn’t that have happened?" Theodore thought about the problem of the outbreak inside the A city base.
Theodore quickly walked towards Victor’s room and could see in the distance that many people were around the room.
Some of them were people Theodore knew. So Theodore decided to approach them.
"What’s going on here?" Theodore immediately cut off all their words with his arrival.
Some people looked surprised by Theodore’s arrival there. They didn’t think he would come here.
"Thank goodness you came. That guy called Big Brother is so cunning. He’s already instructed his men to demolish their base and make those zombies roam the base!" Roderick said that with great exasperation.
"The situation at the base is chaotic. Our captain must secure the residents immediately!"
"Even though the zombies are currently at the north gate, we still need to keep watch so they don’t come here." freewebnσvel.cѳm
Theodore was frozen in place because what happened in his previous life was happening in his current life.
"Captain, get someone ready to guard that man, don’t let him kill himself." Theodore immediately reminded Victor to take care of the perpetrator they had caught.
"What do you mean! I’ll kill him for daring to deceive me like this!" Victor vented his mounting anger.
"Roderick and Cassian, you two lead the troops to guard the area around our place." Victor also immediately gave orders to his men.
"Yes, Captain!" The two of them immediately rushed away from there to bring their respective troops.
Theodore himself remained there, waiting to talk to Victor about this matter. Theodore didn’t think that the cause of the outbreak in City Base A was because of the Cataclysm Brotherhood.
"I will not discuss this matter with you. So you go home, let us handle this!" With a face that still looked angry, Victor sent Theodore back to his house.
Theodore intended to reply to Victor’s words but quickly restrained himself because he did not want to increase Victor’s anger.
"Then I’ll leave first." Theodore turned to go back to his apartment building.
Since Victor hadn’t asked for help, Theodore would gladly wait until it was safe in his apartment building.
It looked like Theodore was going to stay in his sacred dimension. It just happened that the vegetables in his dimension would be harvested soon, so Theodore had something to do.
"At least I won’t be bored while the military clears the base of zombies," Theodore muttered, unable to contain his enthusiasm.
However, Theodore heard a noise in the distance as he walked back to his apartment building. Some shouts were heard from a distance, and Theodore was quite shocked when he heard them.
"Run! Save yourselves, there are zombies!"
"The zombies are already here!"
Hearing that Theodore had not gone back to his apartment building, he turned towards the direction where people were running.
The zombies had reached the west gate area very quickly. Theodore instructed people to quickly go into their homes and hide there.
"Quickly hide in your homes! Don’t crowd around like that. The military will protect you!" Theodore calmed the people who were running to and fro.
Slowly, Theodore got them to take refuge in their homes. Then Theodore saw that the zombies had started to reach their current place.
"Damn! They’re so fast!" Theodore took out his sword and started running toward the zombies coming to attack.
"Stay calm and don’t panic!" Theodore reminded the people there not to panic.
Theodore began to defeat the zombies one by one. One thing Theodore realized while fighting them was that their strength and speed were stronger than those of the zombies he had fought outside the base.
Theodore wondered why these zombies were more substantial than the other zombies.
Fortunately, zombies seemed to escape the surveillance of the soldiers guarding the borders of their territory.
Theodore made sure that the residents outside escaped to their respective homes. Only after Theodore confirmed that they were safe did he return to his apartment building.
After all, the zombie business had nothing to do with him, so Theodore returned to his apartment building.
"Oh yeah, how’s Geoffrey?" Theodore remembered that Geoffrey was most likely at the west gate.
Theodore rushed to his apartment floor to check if Geoffrey was home. If he wasn’t, Theodore thought of picking him up at the west gate.
"Let’s hope he’s home." Theodore gritted his teeth firmly.
After reaching the floor of his apartment, Theodore moved towards Roxanne and Geoffrey’s door. Theodore quickly knocked on the door while calling out to Geoffrey.
"Geoffrey, are you in there?" Theodore knocked harder and harder on the door.
Soon, Theodore heard the door open from inside. Geoffrey’s face looked like it had just woken him up from behind the door.
"Why are you shouting in front of my apartment?" Geoffrey asked Theodore while rubbing his eyes.
