Chapter 66: Time For The Sacred Dimension
Theodore’s face lit up when he heard the answer from the system. Although he still couldn’t get new features from the system for now, at least he could still get them in the future.
Although Theodore himself did not know what he would get later, he believed in the features that the system would give him. It was just that Theodore was curious when he could get that feature.
"May I know when I can get the new feature?" Theodore asked the system curiously.
[The host still has to fight harder!]
Theodore rolled his eyes lazily when he heard the ambiguous reaction the system gave him. From that answer, Theodore understood that he still had to work hard to raise his level.
But given that Theodore was placed in the western gate where there were many zombies, he wasn’t okay with increasing his level. Currently, Theodore is focusing on taking care of his vegetables.
"Even though I haven’t cared for you guys for a long time, you’re still growing well." Theodore then picked up his watering can and started watering his vegetables.
Because the situation in the sacred dimension differed from the real world, the vegetable seeds he planted here continued to grow even though he didn’t water them daily. Although Theodore could see that their growth was minimal, he still had to take care of them from now on.
Theodore also planted his farm and meditated, which he hadn’t done for a long time because he didn’t have time to do it when he was in the hospital. Moreover, he was surrounded by other people, so it was impossible for him to meditate there.
As usual, Theodore sat himself on a large rock in the center of the sacred dimension. Theodore then began his meditation session, which took quite a long time.
After about three total hours of meditation, Theodore finally opened his clear eyes. Finally, he felt his body no longer tired, but it still felt sticky because he had not bathed.
"I think I should check the small river here; who knows if there are any changes there," Theodore said, then got off the boulder and walked towards the bamboo forest near his farm.
The breeze that blew in the bamboo forest somehow felt colder, even though this area was still in the sacred dimension. Theodore always felt goosebumps when he walked through this bamboo forest. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
While walking through the bamboo forest from the other end, Theodore saw a speck of bright white light. This made him wonder why there was such a bright light reflection behind this bamboo forest, as he remembered that the small river there was not that bright.
Theodore quickened his pace because he was curious about the changes in his little river.
When Theodore came out of the bamboo forest and saw a beach with bright sunlight. Honestly, Theodore was utterly dumbfounded when he saw the changes that happened to his little river.
Before, this place was just a small puddle that Theodore thought would be easier to call a river; now, it has turned into a real beach!
Theodore’s feet slowly walked towards the shore, and he realized that the water looked so clear he wanted to put all kinds of fish into this beach. But Theodore wasn’t going to do that.
"Since it’s like this, I can bathe here!" Theodore grinned widely and immediately put his whole body into the water.
After coming out of the sacred dimension, Theodore felt refreshed and very alive. After. After the past few days, he felt very gloomy about his life.
The spring inside the sacred dimension was miraculous after Theodore tried to soak in it and decided to clean himself there.
Because the water on the beach was very clear, Theodore could see the dirt from his body. When he bathed there, he could see the dirt going down to the bottom, then disappearing and making the water on the beach clear again without any dirt.
Theodore was still amazed at what had happened to his sacred dimension and was pleased that his personal dimension had changed significantly. At this rate, he would be more eager to raise his level.
That night, Theodore slept peacefully and soundly. For the first time after the apocalypse, he could sleep soundly.
. . .
Theodore had previously made an appointment with Geoffrey to leave together, so when he left his apartment to go to work, he saw Geoffrey waiting for him in front of the stairs.
"You’re finally out, too. Come on, let’s go!" Geoffrey immediately urged Theodore to leave.
"I didn’t expect you to wake up this early," Theodore said as he walked beside Geoffrey.
"I guess I’m used to it," Geoffrey replied, shrugging his shoulders indifferently.
"Where’s your brother?" Theodore was a little confused when he didn’t see Roxanne, not with Geoffrey.
"She left first. The people who work at the north gate have to leave early because they’re farther away," Geoffrey explained with a sigh.
Theodore nodded in understanding, not forgetting that he had picked Roxanne up as much as possible today. Not only because Theodore was worried about Roxanne, but he was also curious about the atmosphere in the north gate area.
Theodore honestly thought that he should see with his own eyes the situation in the North Gate area. His current guess was that this problem was one of the reasons for the zombie outbreak inside City A base in his previous life.
So, if Theodore had found a solution to this problem sooner, he could have prevented the zombie outbreak that was about to occur in City A base.
His first step in finding this problem was to visit the north gate area, known as the center of the issue at this base.
They also had to find out about the murder case that had been rumored to have spread around the base. Because of this problem, Theodore suspected everyone, so he wondered if he should visit Victor to talk to him.
Only Theodore was surprised when he felt a pat on his back. He turned to Geoffrey, who turned out to be the one who patted him.
"Sis, what’s wrong with you?" Geoffrey looked at Theodore with worry.
"What’s wrong?" Theodore blinked his eyes a few times, confused by Geoffrey’s words.
"You’ve been quiet all this time. Someone is calling you," Geoffrey said as he pointed at a young man waving his hand at the two of them.
As Theodore turned his face towards where Geoffrey was pointing and found that it was Noah, he began to wonder why he was calling him.
