Chapter 131: Don’t Come Any Closer

Although surprised by the attack from the zombies inside the salon, Theodore did not hesitate to activate his Wind Slash to repel the zombies who were lunging towards him.

Because Theodore’s str attribute has 50 points now, his Wind Slash skill is no longer repelling opponents in front of him; now, they fly pretty far back.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Theodore immediately jumped high and slammed his sword into the zombie, who was still trying to get up.

Once again, the zombies fell to the floor, but the difference was that now only their bodies fell to the floor while their heads were already rolling, disconnected from their bodies.

In the background, Geoffrey and Roxanne also finished their battle with the remaining zombies that Theodore left behind. After a week of fighting with zombies, they were used to it.

"I’m surprised they attacked like that," Geoffrey said with a tense look.

"I was surprised, too, but at least I was able to parry the attack," Theodore replied, breathing a sigh of relief after not seeing any other zombies around the room.

"It’s a good thing you reacted quickly earlier. Otherwise, they would have managed to attack us," Roxanne said, grateful that Theodore was with them.

Theodore chuckled softly and immediately told them to split up around this place to see if there were other zombies inside the salon.

"You two better go around together, I’ll go alone." Theodore decided to go alone and let Roxanne and Geoffrey go around together so that they could help each other.

"Alright, we’ll check this floor," Roxanne replied, deciding to walk through the spacious 1st floor.

The salon had two floors, and each floor was small, so it wouldn’t take a while for them to check the salon’s condition thoroughly. Theodore nodded his head and walked towards the second floor.

There were most likely still some zombies on the second floor, so Theodore was okay with it if he was the one who had to go up to the second floor.

When Theodore arrived at the top floor, he saw several zombies. Judging from their clothes, the zombies seemed to be salon employees. It didn’t take a unique strategy for Theodore to kill all the zombies on the floor.

Theodore also decided to walk along the floor to see what was there; it would be better if they could rest well there.

Theodore noticed that the second floor was intended for VIP customers. There were about five closed rooms on that floor. He also found a room in the back corner of the floor and found that it was the employees’ restroom there.

From that room, Theodore saw one spring in the corner. This was enough for them to spend the night there.

Although the situation on the second floor was not too messy, he could see many blood splatters and some equipment that had fallen.

After confirming the situation upstairs, Theodore immediately walked downstairs to see how Geoffrey and Roxanne were doing.

From upstairs, Theodore didn’t hear the two of them screaming or calling out to him, so he thought everything was fine downstairs. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"What did you find?" Theodore immediately asked when he reunited with Roxanne and Geoffrey.

"Nothing important; we didn’t find any zombies either." Geoffrey shrugged his shoulders indifferently. The situation on the first floor was already relatively safe.

"I didn’t expect there to be anything useful here either. There’s a mattress upstairs. Should we sleep upstairs or here?" Theodore also threw a question at the two of them.

"If we sleep here, it will be easy to monitor the situation outside, but at the same time, it will be dangerous. I think we should rest upstairs," Roxanne replied after thinking.

Theodore also nodded his head in agreement with Roxanne’s words. Although he didn’t mind if they were on the first floor, it would be safer if they spent the night on the second floor.

Since Roxanne also thought they should sleep on the second floor, Theodore agreed. But before they went to the second floor, Theodore invited them to block the entrance, which was already a little gaping.

"Before we go upstairs, we better fix this entrance. Can you guys find something heavy to block this door and bring it here? I want to hide the car first." Theodore also asked Roxanne and Geoffrey to do something.

"Leave it to us!" Geoffrey nodded his head vigorously.

With that, Theodore walked out of the salon and headed towards where his car was parked, near the salon entrance.

In order not to be too conspicuous and attract the attention of others, Theodore intended to hide their car. Theodore needed to be more active to deal with other humans outside this base.

Many cunning people liked to cause trouble with other groups, especially considering that after an apocalypse like this, the law was no longer valid.

So, there would be many humans who thought it would be okay for them to kill other humans for fun. Theodore met many crazy people like this in his previous life.

Actually, Theodore himself was one of the people who used his status in the past to take advantage of people who were weaker than him, so he knew for sure that there were many crazy people in this destroyed world.

To avoid that, Theodore did not want to attract the attention of others, let alone inform them that his group was hiding inside this salon.

"I think hiding here is enough," Theodore said after he arrived at the back of the salon, which was entirely closed. He thought it was the right place to hide his car.

Theodore parked his car in the very back corner of the salon. After making sure everything was in order, he went down to fill up his car with gas. Theodore took out a drum of gasoline from the sacred dimension and began to fill the car’s tank to the brim.

After finishing his business with the car, Theodore returned to the salon but still had to block the entrance.

When Theodore entered the salon, he found Geoffrey and Roxanne had collected quite large and heavy-looking items; they exerted considerable effort to move them.

"Is this enough?" Geoffrey looked at Theodore with a face full of sweat.

"Gosh, you guys found a lot of stuff. We only need one or two. It will be hard for us to escape if there are too many things blocking the door," Theodore explained with a small chuckle when he saw many cabinets and tables.

Geoffrey’sAfter hearing that, Geoffrey looked annoyed. Since it was getting late, they wasted no more time and placed a large table in front of the door, adding a cupboard to the table to increase the barrier.
