Chapter 15: Saga 15—This is Why You NEVER GO ON FIELD ...TRIPS!
They made it into the classroom in the nick of time. Professor Stillwell had to stop by the vice headmaster’s office for some unexpected morning gossip — that was very hard for her to pass up on. The gossip delayed her for about five minutes, which was enough time for Kael and the student council leaders to enter the classroom.
If they had entered when Professor Stillwell was already in class, not only would they have gotten an earful, but they would also serve triple cleaning duty simply because they were the student council leaders.
Other professors might overlook their tardiness, but not Professor Stillwell — she had always been known for her brutality in punishing students, especially the student council leaders since they refused her from being their advisor and proceeded to choose the carefree Professor Adian instead — whom she secretly despised for his lax attitude towards the academy’s rules and regulations.
"Wooo! We made it in time," Yuki let out a sigh of relief. Even though if they got punished, he would literally have slept through cleaning duty.
Kael departed from them to go sit in his usual seat in the middle row. Then Sylvia called out to him.
"Kael, come sit with us."
"Nah, thank you, but I’ll pass."
The student council leaders sat at the very first row directly adjacent to the professor’s lecture desk.
"That wasn’t a request..." Sylvia’s tone changed.
’She’s even threatening me... Ahhh, how sexy!’
Kael had a totally different opinion.
"Listen, Mr. Not Trustworthy... people would start to talk if the newbie transfer student that walked into the class with the famed student council goes to sit by, you know who."
Harriden gave a logical breakdown — which was honestly not needed. Kael had already made up his mind.
"Hmmm....ok!"
He agreed to sit in the front row solely because he needed to win Sylvia’s heart; he did not want to piss her off this early in the morning.
Briefly after they all sat, as expected, whispers of gossip had already started to fly around regarding why Kael was sitting next to the student council leaders when he was just a newbie transfer student. Most were bitter; others just wanted to join in on the gossip.
"Did you come here to gossip or ...learn!"
Professor Stillwell strode into the classroom. The heaviness of her voice shut up the mouths of the chattering students. She carried herself with a serious and dangerous aura.
The raven hair and crimson-red eyes she possessed just made her all the more imposing. But that’s not what Kael focused on. The surreal and impressive loads of meat she carried on her chest and her slim but yet thick backside.
’I didn’t expect professors to be this sexy—’
’Those huge boobs would make an excellent pillow.’ His perverted mind could only imagine him doing all sorts of things with Professor Stillwell.
Wisps of crimson-dark mana condensed on the professor’s palms and sprouted a large grimoire — that dropped on the desk with a great thud.
"Welcome to the start of Survival Mechanics—"
Her crimson eyes swept across the classroom. "Some of you know me— some of you chose to not know me — while some of you have absolutely no fucking clue who I am!"
"For those of you who actually give a fuck. I am —"
Wisps of crimson-dark mana appeared on her fingertips— she moved her fingertips in the air as if it were paper. She drew letters.
"Professor Stillwell."
The letters burst into a spark of light. The students clapped and cheered. She actually waited for them to finish, even though she could have stopped them, but she simply chose not to.
"Today we will be talking about evasion."
So the class continued without any hitches, and it finally came to an end.
"Okay, students—" Stillwell jammed her hands together.
"I have been told to inform you lot that you will be going for your annual class field trip in the next three days."
Her words brought insane joy and excitement to the students, but they didn’t clap or cheer; they were patiently waiting for the location to be revealed.
Last year they went to the Celidan Springs. The very first day was quite exciting, but the other days were totally boring. There were no other activities to do apart from swimming, so the students got bored really quickly.
"I can’t afford to spend an entire week doing the same fucking activity again."
A student grunted.
"It was a fucking nightmare!" another one yelled.
"Yes, I’m very much aware of the difficulties you faced last year, and so—"
"The academy has adopted a new method of choosing field trip locations." Stillwell spread three cards on the desk.
"Before you are three of the most bustling sites in all of the Kingdom of Reinburg."
The students gasped in excitement. They had a rough idea of which sites were on the cards based on the current popularity charts and critics’ journals.
"Okay! I’ll be choosing one student to draw a card."
The entire class went silent. Whoever was chosen would determine the course of the next very important seven days of their lives.
"You." Stillwell pointed a finger towards Kael.
"Me?" Kael touched his chest to confirm if it was him.
Stillwell nodded her head. Kael stood and walked to the front of the desk.
Stillwell leaned forward on the desk, her cleavage visible through the open cut on her top. Kael could even see the colour of her bra— pink.
"All you have to do is choose a card."
The hot breath from her mouth hit Kael’s neck almost seductively.
"Sure, sure." Kael tried to hold his younger brother back from becoming rock hard. He was solely focused on Stillwell’s tits — he paid no mind to the direction his hand was moving. He touched a card unknowingly.
The class gasped, sitting at the very edge of their seats, waiting for the destination to be revealed.
"Sumbiya Hot Springs.... Cusdien Town."
Kael muttered with an unsure tone. He had never heard of such a place before.
"Hell yeah!" A student threw their hands in the air in excitement.
"Woohoooo!"
The entire class was filled with cheers of excitement. Kael was allowed to go back to his seat.
"Good pick, dude." Yuki gave him a thumbs-up.
"Sylvia, we barely have enough time to pack." Claire streaked a pigtail.
"We have to start immediately. If not, we might not make it through." Sylvia grabbed her bag.
"Let’s go, boys, we are going shopping." Claire threw a hand in the air.
"Is it that amazing of a place?" Kael asked.
"Have you been under a rock your entire life?" Harriden hissed.
"Don’t mind him, bro. The Sumbiya Springs is currently No. 1 on the popularity charts. Which means—"
"It’s very popular," Claire finished Yuki’s statement.
