Leon slowly walked toward Nick.
Nick instinctively staggered backward, raising a trembling finger at him. "Stop! Don’t come any closer!" he shouted. "You have no idea what I can do to you. If you don’t want your family to suffer..."
He never got to finish.
The moment Leon heard the word family, something inside him snapped.

He appeared before Nick like a gust of wind. His hand shot forward, fingers wrapping tightly around Nick’s throat before lifting him off the ground.
Nick clawed desperately at Leon’s wrist, his feet kicking helplessly in the air.
"You haven’t done anything unforgivable yet," Leon said coldly. "Though it’s only because you didn’t get the scope.
So I’ll give you one warning.
I don’t care about whatever relationship you and Cecilia have. I have nothing to do with her anymore. So stop disturbing my peace. Or else if you come looking for trouble again..." His grip tightened slightly. "I can’t guarantee you’ll leave with all your limbs intact."

Nick crashed onto the ground like a sack of rice, coughing violently as he gasped for air.
Leon didn’t spare him another glance.
He simply turned around and walked toward his classroom.
No one moved.
Not yet.
Their minds were still trying to process everything that had just happened.
Many of the onlookers were Leon’s classmates. They could hardly believe their eyes. This was the same Leon Bale. The same student who, just half a month ago, had no awakened ability and no remarkable talent in academics.
But now...
Even the air around him felt different. He had defeated four people who were registered as hunters as if they were nothing more than children.
Only after Leon disappeared into the classroom did the crowd slowly begin to disperse, their whispers filling the corridor.
Cecilia, however, remained where she stood.
’What does he mean he has nothing to do with me anymore? Doesn’t he like me anymore? He used to follow me around all the time.’
Her expression darkened slightly. ’Don’t tell me that after awakening, he thinks I’m no longer worthy of him.’
She clenched her fists. ’Just you wait, Leon. I’ll make you mine no matter what... and then I’ll make you obey my every command.’ With that thought, she turned around and walked away.
Meanwhile, Nick remained sitting on the floor in a daze.
’How... how did this happen? Those guys are registered as hunters. How did he defeat all four of them in just a few seconds? What the hell is he?’

Inside the classroom, Henry was quietly following Leon to his seat. Leon suddenly stopped and looked back.
Henry was standing there with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide, looking as though he had forgotten how to blink.
"What are you doing?" Leon asked.
"Bro..." Henry suddenly grabbed Leon’s arm. "Seriously, tell me. How did you become this strong overnight? Were you hiding your strength this whole time? Because there’s no way someone can change this much in just half a month."
Several students secretly glanced in their direction. Others kept their eyes on their books, pretending they weren’t interested. But every one of them had their ears focused on Leon, waiting for him to reveal the secret behind his sudden rise.
"You really want to know?" Leon asked with a serious expression.
"Y-Yeah." Henry nodded immediately. He hadn’t expected Leon to agree so easily.
"Then listen carefully." Leon paused for a moment, letting the suspense build. "I
met an alien.
It gave me special powers. That’s how I suddenly became so strong."
Henry froze. For a moment, he didn’t know what to say. He wondered if he had heard correctly just now. "W-Wait... seriously?" he asked, staring at Leon with a completely earnest expression.
Leon couldn’t hold it in any longer. "Pfft..." He chuckled before breaking into a grin. "Nope. I was just messing with you, dummy." He casually sat down in his seat.
"You...!" Henry nearly choked in frustration and was just about to teach Leon a lesson when the classroom door opened.
The teacher walked in.
Clicking his tongue, Henry could only glare at Leon before returning to his own seat.
The classes continued one after another, and the excitement surrounding Leon gradually died down. After all, in a world filled with monsters, dungeons, and magic, someone suddenly becoming stronger wasn’t entirely unheard of.
Soon, the school day came to an end. Just like that, three more days passed. No sudden dungeon break. No threats. Just study during the day and training at night.
Only one week remained before the final examinations.
On the first day of the final week before the exams, Leon was slowly walking toward his college with an umbrella over his head. It had been raining since morning.
’If the teacher hadn’t promised to hand out short chemistry notes today, I never would’ve come.’ Leon sighed inwardly.

As he walked down the rain-soaked street, passing by a narrow alley, he suddenly heard a voice.
"Help! Somebody, please help me!"
An urgent cry echoed through the rain.
Leon frowned. ’That voice... It sounds familiar.’
Without hesitation, he quickened his pace and rushed into the alley. The moment he arrived, his expression darkened.
Four men had surrounded a young woman who had fallen onto the muddy ground. Her face was smeared with mud and dirt as she desperately struggled to push them away.
Closing his umbrella, Leon slowly walked forward. The sound of his footsteps echoed through the rain-soaked alley. Hearing someone approach, all four men turned their heads.
One was a bearded man with a vicious scar running from beneath his right eye down to his neck.
The second was built like a beast, with bulging muscles and a fierce, intimidating face.
The remaining two looked ordinary, the kind of people who could easily blend into a crowd.
