As King Albert left Alice and Miyuki’s father, he smiled slightly.
"Very soon, the Rosette Kingdom will be mine," said King Albert.
Meanwhile, Miyuki and Alice’s father, who were at the wedding reception, had their own conversation.
"Damn, if you hadn’t stopped me, I would’ve already beaten him," said Miyuki.
"I know that’s why I stopped you, so that all our plans go smoothly," replied Alice’s father.
"You’re right. For now, I need to calm down," said Miyuki.
"Good. Let’s go inside," said Alice’s father.
Miyuki and Alice’s father walked toward the reception room.
On the other side, Ryutaro and the others were getting closer to Alice’s room, but just before they arrived, a guard approached them.
"(Looking at the guard) Tch, it seems it won’t be easy to get to Alice’s room," said Ryutaro.
Grace, who was standing beside him, stood up.
"Then I’ll be the distraction, you two go ahead," said Grace.
"Are you sure?" asked Aurelia.
"Don’t worry, I’m the Demon Queen. There’s no way I’ll lose easily," said Grace.
"Alright, be careful," said Ryutaro.
Ryutaro and Aurelia left Grace behind.
"Alright, it’s showtime," said Grace.
"Who are you?"
"I’m the one who will take you to hell," said Grace.
Grace immediately rushed towards the guard.
Meanwhile, Ryutaro and Aurelia were getting closer to their destination and heard the battle between Grace and the guard.
"Grace has started attacking, now we need to hurry," said Ryutaro.
However, their progress was halted by a sorcerer approaching them.
"Tch, we were so close. Why is the security so tight?" said Ryutaro.
As Grace had done earlier, Aurelia stepped forward to distract the sorcerer.
"Alright, time to stretch my body. You go on ahead, Ryutaro, and save Alice," said Aurelia.
"Alright, I trust you. But be careful, don’t let your guard down," said Ryutaro.
"Got it," said Aurelia.
Aurelia walked towards the sorcerer while Ryutaro continued on.
"Who are you? Do you know this is a restricted area?" asked the sorcerer.
"Enough with the chatter, come face me!" said Aurelia.
Aurelia immediately released her ice breath, freezing the sorcerer in place.
Meanwhile, Ryutaro finally arrived in front of Alice’s room.
"Alright, this is it," said Ryutaro.
Ryutaro entered the room, but Alice was already there, ready to strike anyone who entered.
Ryutaro quickly dodged Alice’s attack.
"Yo, Alice! It’s only been two days. Did you forget about me?" said Ryutaro.
Seeing Ryutaro, Alice immediately dropped the chair she had been holding.
"Ryutaro, is that really you?" asked Alice.
"Yeah, it’s me, Ryutaro. The one who fed you that banana," said Ryutaro.
"What are you doing here?" asked Alice.
"Of course, I’m here to save you. What? Did you think I came here for no reason?" said Ryutaro.
Instantly, Alice ran towards Ryutaro and hugged him tightly.
"Ow, Alice, your hug is so tight!" said Ryutaro.
"Is this really you, Ryutaro? Am I not dreaming?" asked Alice.
"Don’t worry, I’m 100% real. Do you want me to pinch you to prove it’s real?" said Ryutaro.
Alice released the hug and asked about the commotion outside.
"So, the noise outside was you?" asked Alice.
"Actually, it was Grace and Aurelia causing the ruckus," said Ryutaro.
"So, they came too?" asked Alice.
"Not just them. Miyuki and your father also came," said Ryutaro.
"So, what about my mother?" asked Alice.
"Your mother is at the palace with Charlotte," said Ryutaro.
"Oh, I see. By the way, what’s your answer to what my father said the other day?" asked Alice.
"Oh, about that?" (Ryutaro showed Alice the ring on his finger) "Take a look," said Ryutaro.
"Isn’t that father’s ring? Why do you have it?" asked Alice.
"Because I accepted his request. That’s why your father gave me this ring as a symbol that I will be the king who’ll accompany you," said Ryutaro.
"Really? Am I not dreaming?" asked Alice.
"If you don’t believe me, how about we step outside and then meet with your father?" said Ryutaro.
"Alright, let’s go," said Alice.
Ryutaro activated his earpiece to inform the others that Alice was safe.
"Alice is safe. We’ll be heading out soon," said Ryutaro.
"Really? Thank goodness. I’m done here too, then. I’ll meet you at the front," said Grace.
"Same here. I’ll catch up with Grace outside," said Aurelia.
"Alright, then I’ll see you outside," said Ryutaro.
Ryutaro turned off the earpiece, and Alice, standing next to him, was confused about Ryutaro speaking to himself.
"Who were you talking to?" asked Alice.
"I don’t have time to explain everything now. I’ll tell you when we get outside," said Ryutaro.
"Alright, then," said Alice.
They both prepared to leave, but just as they were about to exit, they were blocked by Lucien.
"Do you think it’s going to be that easy to escape after entering here? And Alice, are you sure you want to leave me for this man whose origins you don’t even know?" said Lucien.
Alice stepped forward to respond to Lucien’s words.
"Of course, I’d rather be with him than with you, a disgusting person," said Alice.
Ryutaro laughed upon hearing Alice’s response.
"Hahaha, your joke is great, Alice," said Ryutaro.
Lucien, hearing Alice’s words, became furious.
"You... How dare you insult me, the future king of the Celestia Kingdom? Do you even realize that you should be grateful? You’re about to become the queen of this kingdom!" said Lucien.
"I’d rather be a commoner with him than be a queen and live with you," said Alice.
Hearing Alice’s response, Lucien immediately called his assassins.
"Alright then, come out all of you and kill them both," said Lucien.
The assassins emerged from their hiding places and surrounded them both.
"Hahaha, this is the consequence of insulting me," said Lucien.
Alice, standing close to Ryutaro, looked worried.
"What should we do? We can’t defeat them all," said Alice.
Ryutaro casually answered Alice’s question.
"We may not be able to defeat them, but we can still escape," said Ryutaro.
"If you mean teleportation magic, I can’t use it. The location is too far from the Rosette Kingdom," said Alice.
"I know that. We won’t use magic, but we’ll use one of my little tricks," said Ryutaro.
"Little trick? What do you mean?" asked Alice.

Ryutaro quickly purchased a teleporter from the shop and held it in his hand.
Seeing the item, Lucien immediately ordered his assassins.
"Kill them before they escape!" said Lucien.
The assassins quickly approached them, but Ryutaro smiled.
"Too late. Alice, hold my hand. We’re leaving," said Ryutaro.
"Alright," said Alice.
Ryutaro activated the device, and instantly, they disappeared from Lucien’s sight.
"Tch, they escaped. You all, go after them! They can’t have gone far!" said Lucien.
The assassins quickly disappeared to find their whereabouts.
Meanwhile, Ryutaro and Alice finally arrived outside.
"Phew, we’re out," said Ryutaro.
"But that device is really strange," said Alice.
"Hehehe, what matters is that we’re out, right?" said Ryutaro.
Not far from their location, Grace and Aurelia were heading towards them.
"You finally made it! Ryutaro, what’s this weird device you used?" said Grace.
"Yeah, first an earpiece, now this strange device that brought us here in an instant," said Aurelia.
"Hehehe, I’ll tell you all about it on the way home. For now, let’s go pick up Alice’s father and Miyuki," said Ryutaro.
They headed to where Alice’s father and Miyuki were, unaware that they were being followed by Shohei, who was now possessed by the dark god Xerathos’ power.
What will Shohei do to them? Will they manage to rescue Alice’s father and Miyuki? Or will they face Shohei, now under the influence of evil power? Stay tuned for Chapter 34.
