They all headed to the city, unaware that danger was lurking ahead.

Meanwhile, in the palace hall,

Alice’s father, Alice, and her mother were facing an envoy from the Celestia Kingdom.

Alice’s father noticed the panicked look on the envoy’s face as he saw Alice’s father had recovered from his illness.

"So, Your Majesty has recovered?" the envoy asked.

"Of course, I have. Now, what brings you here?" Alice’s father asked.

"It’s about the marriage proposal between Your Majesty’s daughter and the prince of our kingdom," the envoy said.

"I already told you, I refuse that proposal," Alice’s father replied.

"Don’t be hasty in rejecting it, Your Majesty. Isn’t marrying the prince from our kingdom a way to strengthen both of our kingdoms?" the envoy said.

"You’re right, but I’m the kind of person who doesn’t force my daughter into marriage for the sake of the kingdom," Alice’s father said.

"So, Your Majesty still refuses the proposal? Aren’t you afraid the two kingdoms will go to war with each other?" the envoy threatened.

"I’m not afraid. For my daughter’s happiness, I’d even be willing to go to war with you," Alice’s father said.

At that moment, the envoy called forth assassins hiding in the shadows to threaten Alice’s father.

"So, you dare threaten me?" Alice’s father asked.

"Oh no, Your Majesty. How could I threaten you? This is just a form of introduction," the envoy said.

"Introduction? You call sending assassins to threaten me an introduction?" Alice’s father said.

"If Your Majesty still values his life, it would be wise to accept the proposal," the envoy warned.

Seeing her father threatened by several assassins, Alice spoke up.

"Fine, I will accept the proposal, but you must release my father," Alice said.

"Good choice, Princess. Now, come with me to meet the prince," the envoy said.

"Alright," Alice replied.

As Alice walked away, her parents tried to stop her.

"Don’t do this, Alice. We can still fight them," Alice’s mother said.

"That’s right, you can still resist them," Alice’s father said.

However, Alice rejected her parents’ plea.

Alice then left with the envoy, leaving her parents behind.
