Chapter 843: Chapter 843.Reputation

"These contribution points are not enough to enter a secret realm or a principle fragment tower," Kailen sighed as he compared the prices of the secret realms and principle fragment towers to the amount of contribution points he currently had.

Secret realms and principle fragment towers of the academy were divided into common, advanced, rare, and epic, depending on their resourcefulness and danger level.

"I need an additional thousand contribution points to even qualify to enter into a common secret realm. It looks like I need to take on a mission."

Kailen went through the list of academy missions.

Eventually, he came across one that caught his attention.

[ Mission description: The Hohenheim Ensoria Empire Military is suspecting a spy among the ranks of outpost c376.

Mission: Identify this spy and report this to the higher ups of the Honhenheim Ensoria Empire Military.

Danger level: High (Death is possible)

Risk: High.

Reward: 10,000 contribution points]

"This will do. High risk, high reward," Kailen thought.

He melded with the void and disappeared from his room.

The southern residential district of the residential region of the Heavenly Tyrant Academy was currently buzzing with some whispers.

A new student had slaughtered several members of the Isis Faction without hesitation.

There were even several videos of it uploaded on some academy forums.

So, this was not just rumors. It had happened.

News spread in the southern residential district that the student involved was someone who got a lot of attention during the entrance exams.

His name was Kailen Darkhaven.

How would the Isis Faction deal with him?

After all, the Isis Faction was one of the overlords of the southern residential district.

They would definitely come after him.

But several who had seen the videos had to admit that this Kailen Darkhaven was not someone who could be easily bullied.

Heavenly Tyrant Academy.

Southern Residential District.

Isis Faction.

In a villa, several individuals were seated across some plush arm chairs in the luxurious villa.

A hologram was playing a video found on an academy forum in the room.

Expressions ranging from shock to fear and calmness flashed across several faces.

Eventually, the video stopped playing.

A dark-skinned human fellow, wearing sweatpants and summer t-shirts, was lying on a couch with crossed legs.

A glint of coldness flashed through his eyes.

"Boss Isis, what are your orders," a female witch, running her hands through his hair, said.

"Where’s the target now?" Isis, the dark-skinned fellow laying on the couch, said.

The room was quiet, as everyone turned to face someone with a scholarly appearance.

"According to intelligence brokers in the academy, he’s out on an academy mission. He has left the academy region," the person replied.

"If we send assassins after him, we will lose the opportunity to obtain contribution points. Let’s wait till he returns to the academy. Westira, you’ll deal with him. He may be a rank 1 intermediate stage Transcendent just like you, but he’s definitely not as powerful as someone ranked number 4000 on the Heavenly Tyrant Rankings."

Westira, the lady running her hand through his hair, nodded. "Noted, boss."

"If we don’t teach the new students to fear us, our reputation will dwindle. That won’t be good for us," Isis said.

Several in the room nodded at Boss Isis’ words.

They would use this new student as a scapegoat for other students in the southern residential district.

Kailen was currently seated in a spaceship, headed towards the Hohenheim Ensoria Empire’s region.

The spaceship flickered in and out of the void, crossing large distances in moments—a benefit of Kailen’s principle of space.

After several months, Kailen arrived in the region of the Hohenheim Ensoria Empire.

He saw a green-colored planet with small azure dots streaming across it on the horizon.

"That’s the Hohenheim Ensoria Empire. According to the map, military outpost c376 should be somewhere at the northern part of the planet, somewhere in the middle of the Zolmar Seas," Kailen thought.

"How do you plan to handle this mission?" The will of the universe asked, curious.

"To be as low key as possible, unless there’s the need to operate more overtly," Kailen said.

By the time Kailen was done talking, she was not there.

"Why would she even ask a question if she won’t be here to listen?" Kailen shook his head.

"Because I can still hear you?" her voice resounded in his head.

"Fair point," Kailen said.

When the spaceship arrived at the northern atmosphere of the green planet, Kailen put the spaceship away.

He went through the atmosphere by himself.

Eventually, he came across several forests stretched across the place.

"No wonder this planet is greenish. The majority of mass is covered by vegetation and lands, instead of seas," Kailen thought.

"I should head to the middle of the Zolmar Seas," Kailen thought. "But I need to be covert. I can’t move alone using aerial methods. It will draw too much attention. I could simply use the principle of space to arrive there, but there’s a military outpost there. It won’t be wise for an unknown person to suddenly pop out of the void when they are suspecting a spy in their ranks. I should travel by means of an airship officially headed there. From the looks of things, the best thing to do is to become an explorer. That means I will need to join an explorer crew.

According to the intel I gathered before embarking on the mission, explorers are Transcendents who explore the Zolmar Seas for certain ores the empire military uses to make spaceships. These explorers have frequent contacts with the military outposts in the Zolmar Seas because they sell these ores to the military outposts. After becoming an explorer, I could manage to have frequent contacts with military outpost c376 and find the spy," Kailen thought.

His figure flashed across the forests.

He was headed towards a port city ahead.

After crossing several mountains and forests, Kailen finally saw several skyscrapers in the distance.
