Chapter 121: Chapter 103: It’s Them Again

"The Undead... where are the Undead?"

"Be good, and I won’t let the Undead come out."

"Mhm, mhm, mhm."

The Little Cat Girl nodded her head furiously, like a chick pecking at grain. Her eyes welled up with tears, but she didn’t dare to cry. She already understood that the Human before her was the one who decided matters of life and death—both the Minotaur and the Undead obeyed his commands.

Li Ziyu was surprisingly patient with the Little Cat Girl. Seeing her docile and obedient look, he patted her on the head again. "Tell me, why were you around here? And what did you see?"

"If I tell you, will you let me go?" the Little Cat Girl asked timidly.

"That depends on your performance," Li Ziyu said in a slow voice.

"I... I came here looking for food, and then... I was caught by the Minotaur," the Little Cat Girl said, gritting her teeth.

Li Ziyu sighed and pinched her cheek. "If you’re not going to be honest, those Undead from before might just reappear."

The words had barely left his mouth when the two Dark Ox Demons at the door took a synchronized step forward, as if on cue.

"Ah! Don’t let them come any closer!" The Little Cat Girl glanced back nervously, then squatted down, hugging her head and curling into a tiny ball.

"I don’t want to hurt you," Li Ziyu’s tone remained gentle, "but if you insist on deceiving me, well, my hands are tied." The words sent a chill down the Little Cat Girl’s spine.

After a moment of internal struggle, the Little Cat Girl looked up. "If I tell the truth... you won’t give me to the Undead, will you?"

"If you don’t tell the truth, I’ll *definitely* hand you over to the Undead. So be a good girl and tell me the truth." Li Ziyu’s eyes narrowed into a smile, sending a shiver through the Little Cat Girl.

"I secretly followed some others here... and stumbled upon you by accident," the Little Cat Girl said in a small voice, her head bowed.

"And who are these ’others’?" Li Ziyu asked, his smile never wavering, but inwardly he was on high alert. He wasn’t the only one; Mumu and Tas Tuling, standing to the side, also grew vigilant.

’So besides this Little Catman, there are others hiding nearby!’

’They’re well-hidden and must have come prepared. They didn’t get close enough for the Undead to notice. If we hadn’t caught this Little Catman, we’d still be completely in the dark.’

The Cat Girl looked up at Li Ziyu and said cautiously, "The Headhunter Race."

"Are you certain it’s the Headhunter Race?" Li Ziyu asked, his expression serious.

"I’m certain. I recognize them," the Cat Girl said, nodding quickly.

Li Ziyu stood up, narrowing his eyes in thought.

’The Headhunter Race again. These guys never learn, do they? I’ve already wiped out two of their groups, and they’re still coming after me.’

’What dear friends, what sworn brothers. They must have heard I was short on Soul Energy and couldn’t wait to deliver themselves to my doorstep.’

’Hehehe... how nice of them.’

"I... I have more intel! If I tell you, will you let me go?" The Little Cat Girl raised a hand, looking at Li Ziyu with a hopeful expression.

"Oh? What else do you know?" Li Ziyu paused, then squatted down again, asking with that same narrow-eyed smile.

"I don’t want to oppose you, and I don’t want to die! If I tell you, you’ll let me go, right? Please?" The Little Cat Girl grabbed Li Ziyu’s hand, her voice breaking into a sob as she sniffled.

He pinched the Little Cat Girl’s cheek—it was soft and felt nice to the touch—and spoke in an even gentler voice. "You tell me first. If I’m satisfied with what I hear, I’ll let you go."

"You have to keep your promise!" Seeing a glimmer of hope, the Little Cat Girl’s voice was suddenly crisp and clear.

"Yes. Go on," Li Ziyu said with a nod.

The Little Cat Girl had no other choice. Having fallen into the hands of the Undead, she could only pray that the information she knew would satisfy the Human before her.

She licked her lips, revealing two small fangs, and said nervously, "The Alliance Army... the Alliance Army is looking for you."

The hall fell instantly silent. Li Ziyu looked at Tas Tuling, who looked at Mumu. Mumu just looked bewildered.

"What Alliance Army? Why are they looking for us?" Mumu asked, his voice thick and slow.

"They’re not looking for you, they’re looking for the Undead," the Little Cat Girl snapped, glaring at Mumu. ’It’s thanks to these big, stupid bulls that I was brought before the Master of the Undead in the first place.’

Li Ziyu squatted down, staring intently at the Little Cat Girl. "What do you know about this Alliance Army?" he asked slowly.

The Little Cat Girl was still terrified of Li Ziyu. He might be a Human, but he controlled the Undead. So she answered obediently, "Um, I just heard it from others... It’s the talk of the wilderness. An Alliance Army of the Headhunter Race, goblins, and Lizardmen. They say they’re going to destroy..."

As she spoke, the Little Cat Girl suddenly realized her mistake. She quickly covered her mouth, her eyes wide with fear as she looked at Li Ziyu.

’Destroy the Undead?’

’The person in front of me is the Master of the Undead! If I say that out loud and make him angry, I’m dead for sure!’

Even though she hadn’t said the last two words, everyone present knew what she was about to say.

Li Ziyu’s smile remained gentle, but his eyes were ice-cold. ’My dearest friends are truly shameless. Can’t beat me alone, so they’ve decided to team up and deliver themselves as resources.’

’But if even a Little Cat Girl knows about this, and I haven’t heard a single thing, it means my intelligence network is seriously lacking. It’s a good thing we caught her. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have been prepared when they attacked. Now *that* would’ve been a disaster.’

Seeing the coldness in Li Ziyu’s eyes, the Little Cat Girl grew even more panicked. Her small body shrank into a ball, her tail tucked tightly against her.

"Bring Zhang Peng and Liu Xingxing here."

A Skeleton Undead accepted the command and departed, quickly bringing Zhang Peng and Liu Xingxing to the main building’s great hall.

"Boss! We’re here! What’s going on?" The voice arrived before the person. It belonged to the energetic, sunny-faced Liu Xingxing. Zhang Peng trailed behind him, still looking like he’d pulled one too many all-nighters.

"Huh? Is that... a Cat Girl! Wow, she really looks human! Are those ears real?"
