Chapter 515: Chapter 515: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (15)

Aiden Avery looked at the two of them and how they were acting now.

What else could he do?

He had always been perfectly aware of Tristan Grayson’s feelings for Mika Summers. Now that he saw Tristan and Mika had reconciled, he was happy for his friend. And while he was happy for them, he also felt a pang of sadness for the love he’d never had the chance to confess. But in the end, he still wanted the two of them to be happy.

So, he could only sigh. "Tristan Grayson, you don’t pull any punches, do you?"

"When I’m discharged, my wife and I will treat you all to a proper dinner." He and Mika Summers were already engaged, and while his friends had all met Mika before, he had never formally introduced them.

Since they were determined to be together, he figured it was time to arrange a proper introduction.

"Alright. Once you’re out of the hospital, we’ll all get together."

"Mmm."

Only after watching Aiden Avery leave and close the door behind him did Mika Summers begin to snap out of her daze.

Tristan Grayson turned her to face him and asked softly, "Honey, shouldn’t we go get our marriage license?" After all, they were already engaged and the wedding was just a few days away.

"Okay," Mika Summers said, nodding as a blush colored her cheeks. "We’ll go get our license once you’re out of the hospital."

The moment he heard that, Tristan Grayson shot to his feet in excitement. He cupped Mika Summers’s face and gave her a quick kiss. "Wonderful! Wife, I’m checking out of the hospital right now. We’re going to get our license this instant." With that, Tristan Grayson was already pulling Mika Summers toward the door.

"What? Now?" Mika Summers was in a state of complete shock.

"Yes, right now! Immediately!" Now that she’d finally agreed to get their license, he couldn’t bear to wait even a moment longer.

Mika Summers glanced out the window to see that the sky had already turned dark. She couldn’t help but laugh. "Tristan, it’s already dark. We can wait until you’ve recovered. It won’t be too late to go then."

"No! Even if it’s dark, we are getting that license today!" Tristan Grayson grabbed his phone and called Ian Shaw, ordering him to bring the staff from the Civil Affairs Bureau to the hospital—now, immediately, this instant.

On the other end of the line, hearing Tristan Grayson’s unreasonable demand, Ian Shaw fought the urge to march over and kick him. ’Who the hell does he think he is? Even if he’s getting married, there’s no damn reason to get the license in the middle of the night!’

Mika Summers watched Tristan Grayson hang up the phone and then start straightening his clothes, as if they were truly about to get their marriage license that very moment.

Suppressing a laugh, Mika Summers reached out to touch Tristan Grayson’s forehead. "Tristan, are you feeling okay?"

Still caught up in his excitement, Tristan Grayson completely missed her meaning. He leaned over, gave Mika Summers a kiss on the cheek, and said with a grin, "I’m fine. Perfectly fine. Tonight, we’ll have our wedding night."

’Wedding night?’ ’He’s even talking about our wedding night... How can he possibly be fine? Don’t tell me that soak in the river scrambled his brains!’

"That’s right. It’s our wedding night. Wife, tonight I’ll use my strength to prove that I’m in perfect health. There’s nothing wrong with me at all." As he spoke, Tristan Grayson wrapped his arms around her waist, bent down, and pressed his lips to hers.

Blushing, Mika Summers tried to push Tristan Grayson away, but the more she struggled, the tighter he held her. In the end, Mika was completely overwhelmed by his deep, domineering kiss...

Tristan Grayson had always been satisfied with Ian Shaw’s efficiency. This time was no exception. Though Ian was completely against handling such an embarrassing task, he still managed to bribe two government employees with a hefty sum to come over...
