Chapter 482: Chapter 482: From This Moment On, I’ll Say I Love You (Part 82)

Ian Shaw nodded, raised his hand to glance at the time, and scowled when he saw it was just a little past ten. He shouted at Tristan Grayson’s retreating back, "Hey, Tristan Grayson! It’s not even quitting time. Who the hell are you going to pick up?!"

"You’re a single dog, what the hell would you know!" Tristan Grayson didn’t break his stride, just waved his car keys at Ian Shaw and replied coldly.

Hearing that, Ian Shaw’s face darkened instantly. He roared furiously at Tristan Grayson, "Fuck, Tristan Grayson! Who the hell are you calling a single dog?! I’m not! I’ve got tons of women!" ’How dare he call me a single dog! That damn Tristan Grayson has gotten so arrogant lately!’

After leaving his office, Tristan Grayson drove to Mika Summers’s company.

The drive from LK to Sovereign was only two blocks and three traffic lights away. Outside of rush hour, it took just a little over ten minutes.

So, when he arrived at Sovereign’s entrance, it was only 10:30. Mika Summers didn’t get off work until 11:30, which meant he was an hour early.

Tristan Grayson lowered his head and smirked, laughing at himself for being this way.

They had been apart for less than three hours, but he already missed her terribly. He was tempted to go straight up and carry her down in his arms.

He sent Mika Summers a text to let her know he had arrived, then put his phone away.

He leaned back against the car seat and closed his eyes to rest for a moment.

Meanwhile, in her top-floor office, Mika Summers walked to the window with her phone in hand. She looked down below, a sweet smile gracing her lips.

"President Summers, someone is here to see you downstairs," Jessica Archer said coldly as she walked in.

At her words, Mika Summers tore her gaze away from the view below, her brow furrowing slightly. "Alright, I understand."

After Jessica Archer left, Mika Summers glanced out the window again, a helpless smile on her lips. ’I was about to get off work anyway. Couldn’t he have waited just a little longer...’

When Mika Summers got off the elevator on the first floor, she looked around but couldn’t find Tristan Grayson. Her brows knitted together. Just as she was about to call him, a shrill female voice suddenly shrieked from behind her, "Mika Summers! You homewrecking slut! Wasn’t hooking Tristan Grayson enough for you? Now you’re even seducing Silas Kent!"

Mika Summers spun around at the sound of the voice to see a woman flinging a bottle of ink at her.

She dodged to the side, but the ink still splattered all over her arm.

She glared at the madwoman and said angrily, "You lunatic! I guess the beating I gave you last time wasn’t enough, was it?"

"Everyone, come and see! This woman is a homewrecker! I saw her with my own two eyes, going to a hotel with Mr. Kent from your company!" Rowan Ross sneered, clapping her hands to draw the attention of the surrounding crowd.

Watching the crowd grow larger, Mika Summers sneered, "What an absolute psycho."

"What, feeling guilty? Are you scared? Mika Summers, I’m telling you, I won’t let you get away with deceiving people anymore."

"Heh, who have I deceived?" Mika Summers found the woman’s words laughable.

"Silas Kent! You’re a divorced woman who’s already had a child, yet you’re still trying to seduce Mr. Kent? I absolutely refuse to stand by and do nothing!" The last incident at the hotel had caused Second Master Joyce to suffer a loss he couldn’t speak of, and because of it, he had cast her aside, wanting nothing more to do with her. For some time now, she had been practically living on the streets. The moment she thought about how it was all because of that homewrecker, Mika Summers, she seethed with an anger she couldn’t suppress.
