Chapter 428: Journey To The Power Graveyard

’Those from the lake said they just guessed that I was from the upper realm... so that means it’s not easily readable.’

Lyrian thought to himself for a split second, before suddenly shouting:

"When!? When is this raid finally going to happen!" He yelled into the crowd with an excited tone and a bright smile on his face.

The crowd turned completely silent for a split second, and everyone stared at him.

The daunting man at the front of the crowd did the same.

But after only 2 seconds, the crowd erupted into cheer.

"Yeah! When is it going to be!?"

"I’m pumped up!"

"We will finally restore prosperity!"

Lyrian knew this was going to happen, since clearly, obligation to the Black Petal Sect was quite a large factor here.

Being patriotic about it would grant you points in likeness here it seemed.

So of course, most people would celebrate the type of question that Lyrian asked.

And those who didn’t would join in the celebration simply because they didn’t want to stand out.

"Two months from now. That is when he will leave the Heart Stone!"

The daunting man exclaimed as the crowd erupted into cheer once again.

After this, Lyrian slid back out through the cracks in the crowd.

"Hmm... alright then." He mused out loud, going to the back of the crowd and approaching a few random people.

’Now that I have earned some trust from these people who cheered at my question, they shouldn’t be too hesitant to answer me.’

He tugged on the shirt of a man, "Hey... do you know where the Power Graveyard is? I’d like to go there in the future."

However, the man quickly retorted in a harsh tone, "Huh? That place is dangerous, I’m not going to tell you such a thing!"

Lyrian moved on, asking over a dozen people before finally getting to someone willing to help him.

It was a teenager around 17 years old, whose long silver hair flowerbed down to his back in a tight ponytail.

He turned to face Lyrian before retorting, "I shouldn’t tell you too much information, but know that the Power Graveyard exists behind the mountains."

Lyrian promptly nodded in acknowledgment of the help.

’This guy...’ He also mused, noticing something weird about him.

’He seems to be trying to hide his power for some reason. Yet, I can still see clearly through that barrier that’s attempting to shield his power level.’

The silver-haired young man had an OP of 20, which was exceedingly high for someone in the Servant Sect.

The young man seemed to notice Lyrian observing him a bit but decided to smirk at him for a moment with his eyes closed.

Lyrian’s eyes squinted in slight skepticism, but he shrugged it off and turned.

’Whatever...’ He mused, beginning to walk away.

’I don’t even know when its day time or nighttime in this damn area. There were clocks telling you such things in the normal civilian society, but not in these mountains...’

He decided to not deal with the hassle. ’Screw it, I won’t sleep until I get to the Heart Stone.’

With that, he dashed to a place where no one was around and then began to dash atop the courtyard roofs to eventually reach the other side of the mountain.

There were several more courtyards, training grounds, and other large estates in the Servant Sect.

It seemed Lyrian was in the lowest of the lowest in terms of strength of the estates.

Finally, he managed to reach the wall of the mountain.

At that moment, he made sure no one was around and deployed Tao.

Gripping tightly onto Tao’s back, Lyrian zipped up the mountain in seconds.

He then traveled to the right, avoiding the entire mountain and beginning to fly past it.

’Most eyes probably catch Tao ripping through the sky at a glimpse, but I don’t want to risk getting caught by those main sect bastards by flying too high up to the peaks of the mountains.’

He mused, staying low enough to not be sensed by the Black Petal Sect, and high enough to not be seen by those on the ground.

After several minutes, the gigantic mountains began to lessen in size.

Soon enough, Lyrian came across the treeline of forest where the leaves me the rock walls.

Finally, Lyrian began to soar across this place as well.

However, on looking down, he noticed several disciples seemingly training in the forest, separated from each other about 10 miles apart.

’It would be bad if they were to notice me...’ Lyrian mused, allowing Tao to dart back down to the ground.

He put Tao back in his shadow and instead unleashed Garmr.

’Garmr will seem like a normal beast running around, so this will be less obvious.’ freёwebnovel.com

He could just go himself, but that would take too long and his whole mood was impatient right now.

He couldn’t turn himself invisible or anything since Dustfey had taken his Scars Cloak, but that didn’t matter.

Lyrian found it easy to hide in the thick upper back fur of Garmr, convincingly allowing his body to disappear into the silky hair of the beast.

With this, Lyrian ordered Garmr to continue forward away from the mountains.

Garmr promptly followed instructions and began to turn at immense speeds.

He mowed through several smaller trees and even some large ones.

Bursting through some boulders, ripping through vines, and tearing through trees, Garmr moved through the forest menacingly.

He was like a damn tornado wherever he moved, which wasn’t ideal for trying to stay in secrecy.

Lyrian warned Garmr to calm down, but by that moment they had already oassed by two disciples training in the forest that witnessed the beast move.

They were shocked, to say the least. Without hesitation, they began to follow the beast suddenly.

They also contacted other disciples within the area and all of them banned together for the search.

The search of what? Well, a Power Graveyard-escaped Boss Beast!
