"Will you give me the Alchemical Sigil, statue? Or will you going to prevent me?" Evelynn said.
"I am only a statue, Siren. I was put here by a brilliant Alchemist to make sure that the Sigil will not fall into the wrong hands. Hands like your master, Siren. The notorious Blood Warlock." The eyes of the statue lit up.
"So. A battle then."
Evelynn opened her palm. The Tidal Brine power stirred within her.
"No need for such haste, Siren. I can give you the Alchemical Sigil. With one simple condition."
Evelynn raised an eyebrow. "What do you want?"
"Get me out of here."
"What?" Evelynn widened her eyes in surprise.
"Do you know how boring it is to stay underwater at all times? I am SO death inside! That damn Alchemist didn't even install an off button for me. I have been here for hundreds of years, Siren! I can't take this anymore!"
Evelynn chuckled.
"So... If we get you out of here, you will give us the Sigil?"
"Yes, and I also want you to give me to another Alchemist. I want the power to move and operate on my own. Right now, I am only an immobile statue that could trigger the defensive system of this temple. I would rather be an actual Automaton!"
Automaton. One of the many constructs that the Alchemists used. Similar to Warlock, Alchemists also had their own kinds of servants. But they didn't enslave other beings or summon them, the Alchemists created their own servants.
Golem. Automaton. Gargoyle. Those were the most notable constructs that the Alchemists liked to use. Golem was the strongest but the least complexity in them, which was what Rumius did to the Cyclops. Automaton was the most complex and could do various tasks based on its master's design. But because of its sheer complexity, Automaton was usually tasked with jobs, rather than use in battle. Gargoyle was the mix between the two, sturdy enough to use in battle, and could be given intelligence for complex maneuvers.
Rumius was trying to turn the Abyssal Dragon that Mater killed into a Gargoyle. But the task proved more difficult than the Doberman thought.
"Let me check with my Master!" Evelynn said.
Before she could even contact Mater, the fat cat took control of her.
"Deal! Welcome aboard, statue!" Evelynn said with two glowing Octagrams in her eyes.
The statue was surprised. "Possession? The Blood Warlock discovered many new technologies in the recent years, huh?
Well. A deal is a deal. I will show you the path toward the golden tablet."
The floor behind the statue opened up and the golden tablet raised from beneath the ground.
"Thank you, statue sister!" Evelynn walked over and picked it up.
"Statue sister..." The golden statue didn't know what to respond to that.
Mater possessed Evelynn once more.
"It seems like your work here is done. This temple seems like a good place. Let me grab this entire thing!"
"What do you mean?"
As soon as statue finished speaking, Mater's Chaos coursed through Evelynn's and flooded to the entire temple.
The Elder of the Geldar Village was sitting with Sparrow. He was showing him on how to fish marine Hellbeasts with their special fishing rod.
The marine Hellbeasts were obviously only weak Rank-1 beings and small catches. The villagers weren't stupid enough to mess with large Hellbeasts just yet.
"You see here. This is the concentration power of Death Ice." The Elder showed Sparrow the tip of the fishing line, it had a small white ball attached to it. "This is formed by condensed Death Ice in caves. Over time, Death Ice slowly dropped down from the ceiling, forming inverted cones in the cave. These cones would continuously leaking soft Death Ice, forming these small balls that looked like snow. The Hellbeasts loved these things."
Sparrow nodded repeatedly, trying to stay compose in the cold.
"And this is how you fish!" The Elder threw the fishing line into the water. "It takes time to catch a Hellbeast. If you're lucky, it'll be a few minutes. If you don't, it may take an entire day for one to show up."
"Woah! What is the biggest Hellfish that you caught?" Sparrow said.
"The biggest? Probably the size of an adult. But many people helped me back then. Otherwise, I would never be able to pull such a big one up."
Suddenly, the water emerged. Something's big was rising from under the water.
"Looks like you caught something!" Sparrow said.
The Elder frowned.
Then without warning, the entire submerged temple rose above the water surface. The villagers fell backwards. Some scattered away in fear.
Evelynn sat on the porch of the temple. Her wet hair stuck to her smooth shoulders.
"What the hell?" The Elder said.
Evelynn was holding a golden tablet in her hands. She jumped into shore.
"I got it!"
The fat cat opened its mouth. The portal of the Chaos Realm opened inside its Demonic Arsenal. The temple turned smaller and floated to Mater.
The fat cat swallowed the entire thing.
The Elder widened his eyes in response. "That... That is the ancient temple..."
Mater licked his mouth. "We got the Sigil here. Are you going to keep your promise?"
The Elder slapped his knees and knelt down. "Of course. We never go back on our words. The Geldar Village will now be apart of the Borealis Kingdom."
The other fishermen also knelt down and shouted in unison. "For Borealis!"
The fat cat stroked its incredibly short whiskers. 'The Geldar Village is scattered. But the Elder maintains quite a good control over them. The villagers didn't question his decision at all. This man is a piece of work. I can use him.'
Aurora stepped forward and the fat cat climbed on hẻ shoulder.
"Feast upon your eyes, mortals. This shall be your new queen." The fat cat said.
"Queens." Aurora split into two, the Orange Aurora appeared.
"My time has come!" The white mouse climbed out of Selina's shirt and jumped to the ground.
Blanche revealed herself and her antics began.
"Rejoice! Today is the day Geldar joins our Borealis Kingdom! All hail Lord Blood Warlock! All hail the Ice Queen and Flame Queen! All hail Borealis!"
"All hail Borealis!"
