At first glance, the difference between the two armies were night and day.

One was a standardized army with the same grade of equipment and a unified formation across the board. Another was an army whose soldiers patched together whichever piece of equipment they could find.

The soldiers of Whitow army felt the threat in the bottom of their stomachs. They could feel that whatever they were facing was on a completely different level.

They shouted 'no mercy' and they were prepared for war. But now, when facing war, these soldiers hesitated.

They were right to fear. Because in the opposite of them, these soldiers had fought too many battle and some of them died many times as well.

In the land of the Wilds, nothing truly died. Especially since Telara could make a new body and shove their souls inside a Revenant whenever.

They were fearless soldiers with a godly amount of battle experiences.

The commander could feel the threat deep in his heart. But he could not turn back.

The spear was flung and it must strike.

"Soldiers!" He shouted.

The soldiers of Whitow raised their weapons.

"Charge!" He shouted.

The soldiers of Whitow rushed forward.

Borealis had much less soldiers compared to Whitow. In this wasteland where surviving was never guaranteed, an army of a few hundred was already respectable.

So, the Whitow Village with their one thousand men was a formidable force.

On Mater's side, he only sent one hundred soldiers. No more. No less.

He was confidence in the ability of his subjects.

And Aurora was the one that led these men and women. That was more than enough to guarantee victory.

Selina held a pair of spyglass looking toward the battlefield.

"The enemy is aggravated. They lost their cool." Selina said.

"Yes, they did." The fat cat smirked.

Aurora split in two. The White Aurora and the Orange Aurora stood together.

The White Aurora held an iced sword high in the air.

The Orange Aurora held an flaming fist in the air.

"To formation!" They shouted.

The plated soldiers stuck close together and slammed their shields on the ground.

Roots burst out from the edge of the rectangular shields and plunged into the dirt, further rooting them into place.

The soldiers in the front knelt down, their hands stayed on the shields to reinforced them.

The soldiers in the front held their special touched weapons and aimed just above the shields.

The Alchemists had left this world long ago. Those that stayed behind died because of old ages.

No one was left to lead these humans, letting them slowly became savaged and barbaric.

They didn't even know the basic of battle strategic.

The Whitow Soldiers slammed on the shields. The shield formation stayed solid like one singular piece of fortress wall.

The soldiers behind aimed released the power of their touched weapons.

Ice and flame projections shot out from behind the shield line and attacked the Whitow Soldiers.

They died and fell to the ground like ants.

"Move forward!" Orange Aurora yelled.

The shielded soldiers pressed a button on their shield handles. The roots on the ground began to move, lifting them up and moving the shields forward.

They slowly pushed back the Whitow soldiers.

"What is this stupid tactic?" The Whitow Commander grunted. He was a veteran hunter and he had killed many Hellbeasts in the past.

He got to this level and was entrusted to command this army for a reason.

But he had long forgotten on how to deal with proper, trained human forces.

The Whitow Commander threw his cloak away, revealing many battle scars on him and a glowing Death Ice axe.

"I will lead this army to victory!"

The Commander jumped up. He shot to the sky like an insect and aimed to land on the back of the Borealis Army, destroying them from within.

But Aurora would never allow that.

"You or me?" White Aurora said.

Orange Aurora pumped her fists together. "You command the army. I take care of that man."

Orange Aurora flew up.

Originally, Aurora had an ability that allowed her to step into the air, Northern Light formed beneath her feet and carried her away.

But Orange Aurora was different. Her feet caught on fire as she shot to the sky like a missile.

The girl collided with the Whitow Commander and created a large orange flower in the air. A blossom of fiery destruction.

The Commander shot to the ground like a falling comet. He landed at where his army was, killing many of his soldiers, and digging out a large hole on the ground.

He coughed in pain. His body was burned like black charcoal.

He couldn't believe how strong that woman was. A level that he could never reach.

The human of this world only touch Rank-2. But Aurora was already a Rank-3. If it wasn't to build the army up and the confidence of her own kingdom, Aurora could have easily wiped Whitow off the map of the wasteland.

"You... What are you?" The Whitow Commander struggle to get up and looked at the fiery girl in the air.

"I am the Fire Queen of the Borealis Kingdom."

White Aurora was an Elk. Orange Aurora was a Phoenix. Her burning fist transformed into two large wings. A coat of flame wrapped over her as she turned into a bright fiery bird.

She slammed straight down without any mercy.

With one single strike, the Whitow Commander along with three hundred of their soldiers were killed.

White Aurora tilted her head slightly, "We are behind schedule... She is trying to speed things up."

The battle at the pine forest was a total failure... for Whitow Village. A news that no one expected.

The new established Kingdom, the Borealis, crushed the one thousand soldiers of Whitow without much difficulty.

The sky of the wasteland officially welcomed its new lord and savior. And it was a fat manul cat that liked to play around with its owner.

Bash and Solarix came to visit eventually. They wanted to see the new Orange Aurora. The weather in Eternum really was detrimental to the two of them as they couldn't stop sneezing.

"Welp. Aurora finally has some emotions. I'm returning to Infernal Floor. This place is so goddamn cold." Bash watched the entire battle and got through the portal.

Solarix wore a thick fur coat but the Death Ice was still affecting her.

"I think I will go back as well, Master."

The fat cat waved his finger dismissively. "Go. I need someone to look after the Chaos Realm anyway."

Solarix smiled and jumped inside the portal with Bash.

Mater shut the portal close once they're gone.

"Chaos Realm seems to be doing well." Selina said.

"Of course it is. After all, I created it." The fat cat groomed itself while talking. "Now that Whitow stops bothering us. We can finally continue to collect the other Alchemical Sigils."

They acquired two Alchemical Sigils at the moment.

The first one allowed Mater to convert Red Coals into Living Flame, unlocking a new form of power for Aurora and the villagers.

The second one allowed Mater to transfer energy from burning Red Coals to the villagers in the surrounding area, basically boosting their power.

Selina took out the map that they had drawn recently.

"The Mountain Range is Frine Village territory. The Pine Forest belonged Blice Village. The Whitow held a very large territory but they are further east. The nearest one from us is the Ice Lakes of the Gerdal Village. This village is less like a united community and is consisted of many independent survival groups. The Ice Lakes is also a very large area spanning almost a hundred miles. But nothing lives on the surface. Only marine Hellbeasts beneath the ice lakes." Selina said.

"Ice Lakes, huh?" The fat cat stroked his whiskers. "That sound like a good place to go vacation! Once I conquer this hell, I'm going to turn that into a spectacle!"

Selina sweated silently. She knew that Mater always had very weird idea in his mind. But she doubted that any normal person would choose a hell to go vacation in.

But then she remembered their crazy subjects they had. The Psychics weren't exactly ordinary people and they really liked extreme conditions in order to draw more power out of themselves. The Glacial Floor was the best example.

It was cold as hell. Yet, Psychics still came there to visit.

"That sounds like a good idea." Selina said.

"Of course, it is a good idea. It is my idea after all!" The fat cat laughed manically.

The Goth girl laughed with him. The two of them were being delusional together.

Aurora didn't kill all of the soldiers. She let a few survived to return and tell the tale.

As for the deceased soldiers, Mater either collected their souls into a Soul Spheres or converted them into Revenants in the Everlasting Wilds.

His subjects once again gained a huge increase.
