Chapter 411: Chapter 441: Molded Into a Scumbag

Li Xiaomei smiled smugly but said nothing more. Old Mrs. Shen felt slighted. Her son had bought something for his wife but nothing for her. She turned and walked away, clearly displeased.

But Li Xiaomei couldn’t care less. After all, she was too thrilled about getting a piano!

Just then, Qin Jiao and Shen Yi arrived downstairs with some people and ran right into Shen Feng, who was just returning.

The three of them stared at each other, and for a moment, no one spoke. Qin Jiao took half a step closer to Shen Yi, making her position perfectly clear.

The small gesture brought a smile to Shen Yi’s lips. As a result, even the sight of Shen Feng was no longer quite so irritating.

He said, "What a coincidence. We were just heading to your place. Go on and open the door for us."

After Du Liya and Shen Yi moved out, Shen Zhengfeng had the locks changed. What he didn’t know was that the mother and son had both tossed their keys the moment they left.

Shen Zhengfeng was always worried that Du Liya and her son coveted the house, but in reality, neither of them cared about it at all.

Shen Feng shot a subtle glance at Qin Jiao, then looked at Shen Yi in confusion. "To my place?"

"Dad’s yours now, and you’re living in the house, so of course it’s your place." Shen Yi always had a knack for getting under people’s skin. Seeing Shen Feng’s face darken, he added cheerfully, "Something was delivered to the wrong address—it ended up at your house. I brought some people to move it. Oh, and by the way, I’ve already spoken to Shen Zhengfeng."

Ever since severing ties with his father, Shen Yi only ever called Shen Zhengfeng by his full name. He’d also thought about changing his surname, but "Du Yi" sounded a little strange. He was actually quite keen on changing it to "Qin Yi," but Du Liya had just sneered and reminded him of the ancient custom forbidding marriage between people with the same surname. So, Shen Yi had dropped the idea.

However, Du Liya left the choice of surname up to her son. She would have been fine even if he wanted to take Beidou’s foreign surname. After going back and forth on it, he ended up not changing it at all.

Seeing that they were just there to pick something up, Shen Feng, though annoyed, still subconsciously wanted to maintain a good image in front of Qin Jiao.

He nodded and turned to head upstairs, but a voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"Shen Feng, wait up! You left your fountain pen at my place." A girl in a light-colored jacket came running over. She only had eyes for Shen Feng at first, but she froze when she saw Qin Jiao and Shen Yi.

A smile touched Qin Jiao’s lips. ’What a coincidence,’ she thought. The girl was her classmate, Sun Lili, the same one who had previously mistaken Shen Yi for her brother.

Sun Lili was a local and had been introduced to Shen Feng through a mutual acquaintance. Although Shen Feng wasn’t from the city, his official residency had been transferred, and more importantly, he had a very wealthy father who ran a business.

Most importantly, Shen Feng was handsome and exceptional; he had only narrowly missed getting into North City University himself. So, Sun Lili had quickly given up on Shen Yi to focus her efforts on getting close to Shen Feng.

Shen Feng, for his part, never said they were dating, but he didn’t reject Sun Lili’s advances either. His time with Lin Nian had taught him how to keep women at arm’s length—stringing them along so they couldn’t let go, but never letting them get truly close.

Lin Nian, still serving time in prison, would never have imagined that she had inadvertently molded Shen Feng into a total player...

Sun Lili hesitated for a moment, then asked reflexively, "Qin Jiao, what are you two doing here?"

Qin Jiao gave a slight smile. "We’re here to take care of a little business."

Sun Lili pressed her lips together, shot a wary glance at Qin Jiao and Shen Yi, and after handing the fountain pen back to Shen Feng, turned and walked away.

Shen Yi, however, had already taken Qin Jiao by the hand. "Come on," he said, "let’s go upstairs and move our things."

It wasn’t that he felt threatened by Shen Feng, but the guy still rubbed him the wrong way!

’Because Shen Yi had noticed the guy kept stealing glances at *his* Jiao Jiao!’
