Chapter 523: Episode 521: Three HeartBeats.
"Ren!" Zarek roared, his deep voice shaking the giant glass windows of the mansion. "What did you just say?!"
Torian looked like he was ready to completely lose his mind. The giant White Tiger gripped his own hair, his massive chest heaving up and down. He didn’t understand the quiet, shocked whisper. "What is wrong with her? What disease is it?! Tell me what to fight! I will tear this entire house down to the bare dirt to find a cure for her!"
Ren slowly shook his head. He blinked his bright purple eyes, finally looking away from Roxy’s stomach to look up at his terrified brothers.
"She isn’t sick," Ren stammered, his voice cracking loudly. He took a deep, shaky breath, a massive, unbelievable smile suddenly breaking across his pale face. "She is pregnant."
The giant, sunny living room exploded into pure, absolute chaos.
Torian completely froze. His giant arms dropped to his sides, his bright blue eyes going as wide as dinner plates. Kaelen, the tough, scary Wolf King, literally dropped to his knees right there on the rug, covering his mouth with both hands in total shock. Caspian let out a loud, happy sob, tears instantly streaming down his face as he rushed forward.
Roxy just laid flat on the soft leather couch, completely stunned.

Her brain stopped working. She slowly brought her shaking hands down to rest flat against her stomach. Through the soft pink fabric of her dress, her tummy felt completely normal. It was flat and warm. But underneath her skin, a brand-new little life was actually growing.
She wasn’t dying of grief. Her emotional fever hadn’t returned. The terrible sickness this morning wasn’t sadness—it was morning sickness! She was going to be a mother again!
A loud, beautiful, watery laugh burst right out of Roxy’s chest. She sat up on the couch, tears of pure, blinding joy completely soaking her cheeks.
Zarek was the first one to reach her. The massive, terrifying mafia boss dropped to his knees right beside the couch. He wrapped his giant arms around her waist and buried his face in her lap. His huge, broad shoulders were actually shaking. He was so happy he couldn’t even speak. Torian ran over and carefully wrapped his massive arms around both of them, crying happy, giant tiger tears into Roxy’s hair.
"A baby," Caspian cheered, wiping his wet eyes. "We are having a baby!"
But just as the bright, beautiful wave of pure joy washed over the room, a sudden, dark cloud of total panic quickly followed it.
Kaelen shot up from the floor, his face completely serious. "Wait. Wait a minute. We are on Earth."
The happy cheering suddenly stopped. The Kings all looked at each other, the same terrifying realization hitting their brains at the exact same time.
In the Beastworld, having babies was a very natural, magical thing. When Roxy had given birth to their older children, the system had helped her body.
But they were not in the beastworld anymore and Roxy didn’t have the system. The door to the Beastworld was permanently closed. Ren didn’t have a single drop of magic left in his body; he was just a normal human man now.
They were giant beasts, and their Queen was going to have to give birth to a powerful baby in a totally normal, human world without any system to help her.
"We don’t have power," Torian panicked, his voice going high and squeaky with terror. He looked at Roxy like she was suddenly made of very thin, fragile glass. "She doesn’t have the system to heal her! What if the baby is too big? What if she gets hurt? I can’t let her get hurt!"
"We need a plan right now," Zarek growled, standing up fast. His protective dragon instincts went into complete overdrive. "We will build a hospital inside the mansion. We will buy the best machines in the human world."
"Everyone, calm down!" Syris ordered loudly, stepping right into the middle of the chaos.
The elegant Swamp King was the only one holding his ground. He held up his black medical bag. Since arriving on Earth, Syris had spent every single night reading thick books and studying human medicine so he could take care of them.
"Human medicine is incredibly advanced," Syris promised, his green eyes totally calm and confident. "We do not need magic. I know exactly what to do. I will monitor her every single day. We have billions of dollars, and we will hire the best doctors on the planet to help me. She is going to be perfectly safe, and so is the baby." freeweɓnovel.cѳm
Hearing Syris sound so totally confident made the panic in the room slowly start to calm down. Zarek took a deep breath, nodding his head. If Syris said he could keep her safe, then Zarek believed him.
Ren was still kneeling right beside the couch. He hadn’t moved.
While the other Kings were yelling and planning, Ren was just staring at Roxy’s stomach. He tilted his head to the side. Even without his magic, his deep fox senses were still sharper than any normal human’s. He could feel the energy in the room, and something was confusing him.
"Shh," Ren whispered, holding up his hand. "Everyone, be totally quiet for a second."
The Kings instantly shut their mouths. The living room went dead silent. You could have heard a tiny pin drop onto the fluffy rug.
Ren slowly leaned his head down. He gently pressed his ear right against Roxy’s flat stomach.
Roxy held her breath, her hands resting softly in Zarek’s giant grip. She looked down at Ren’s fiery red hair resting against her pink dress.
Ren closed his bright purple eyes, focusing every single ounce of his attention on what was happening inside her body. He listened closely. He felt the strong, steady thumping of Roxy’s heart, but then, underneath it, he felt the tiny, fast flutters of completely new life.
Ren’s purple eyes suddenly snapped wide open.
He didn’t lift his head right away. He stayed frozen with his ear pressed to her stomach, his face turning totally, absolutely pale all over again.
"Ren?" Roxy whispered, totally nervous. "Is something wrong? Is the baby okay?"
Ren slowly lifted his head. He sat back on his heels, his hands shaking so hard he had to press them flat against his own knees to make them stop. He looked at Roxy, and then he looked up at the five massive Kings standing around the couch.
"It’s... it’s not just one heartbeat," Ren whispered, his voice totally breathless.
Torian blinked. "What do you mean?"
Ren swallowed hard, his purple eyes completely wide with absolute shock. "There are three. It’s triplets."
The entire living room went totally, completely silent.
The silence was so heavy and thick that you could cut it with a knife. Triplets. Three babies. At the exact same time.
Caspian’s mouth fell open. Kaelen stopped breathing. Syris actually dropped his black medical bag onto the floor with a loud, heavy thud.
Slowly, as the crazy math finally clicked in their heads, every single King turned their head.
Torian turned around. Ren looked up. Syris narrowed his green eyes. Kaelen and Caspian slowly turned their completely glaring faces toward the exact same spot.
They all glared directly at Zarek.
Roxy looked at Zarek, too, her cheeks suddenly turning a bright, totally burning shade of red.
They all remembered exactly what had happened a few weeksearlier. They remembered a certain Dragon King’s legendary, totally unstoppable stamina during their sex marathon. Zarek had claimed his Queen over and over again, completely refusing to leave her side, acting like a totally wild beast driven by pure, fiery instinct.
He had clearly left a very permanent, very massive mark.
Zarek looked at the five glaring Kings. He looked at his beautiful, totally shocked wife sitting on the couch.
The giant, terrifying mafia boss didn’t look sorry. He didn’t look nervous about having three babies at once.
Zarek just leaned back on his thick heels. He crossed his massive, muscular arms completely over his broad chest. A slow, incredibly proud, totally arrogant smirk spread perfectly across his handsome face.
He tilted his head, giving his brothers a completely unapologetic look.
"What?"
