Aiden entered the rank 1 region of the danger zone.
Aiden’s eyes narrowed and turned crimson as he navigated the rank 1 region.
Now that his power was at the level of an Intermediate rank 1 warrior, he could scan broader distances.
He scanned several kilometers across his current location.
This was to ensure that if there were any unforeseen threats, he could adequately decide how to approach it and not be caught unawares.
Aiden moved through the snow covered trees.
His focus was to hunt intermediate rank 1 chaotic beasts as he searched for an arid region in the rank 1 danger zone.
Aiden was able to identify several advanced and expert rank 1 chaotic beasts several kilometers from him due to using his enhanced sight for his scan.
Because of this, he was able to avoid them and stay out of danger.
Aiden went through several places. He passed some mountains and even lakes.
He also killed a lot of intermediate rank 1 chaotic beasts and absorbed their blood essence.
Eventually, he arrived before a place without trees. It stretched for as far as his eyes could see.
He stood at the edge of the arid region. But he did not dare to enter.
This arid region divided the rank 1 region of the danger zone from the rank 2 region.
Because of this, rank 2 chaotic beasts sometimes roamed the place. This was why the mission had stated that there was a high possibility of death.
Also, the environment itself could be deadly.
Advanced, expert and even legendary rank 1 chaotic beasts usually roamed this place.
Tall grasses were sparsely distributed across the place.
Despite the fact that it was winter, the place was very warm. Smoke was coming out of the ground and larvae spewed out of the ground occasionally.
"These Solar Herculean Herbs should be somewhere in this place."
He scanned the place.
He saw a lot of advanced, expert and legendary rank 1 chaotic beasts lurking in the tall grasses.
Some were also hiding in the ground.
"This place is very dangerous. Should I abandon this mission? After all, my life is more important. Wait... what if I am able to incite a conflict between the rank 1 chaotic beasts over the corpses of the dead assassins. Chaotic beasts are naturally very predatory after all. Only rank 3 and rank 4 chaotic beasts are extremely sentient compared to rank 1 and rank 2 chaotic beasts and don’t always act on their predatory instincts."
Before Aiden could take out the corpses of the dead intermediate rank 1 assassins, he squinted his eyes slightly. He had identified something through his scan.

"Seriously, this world is indeed ruthless. They died just like that. Norton was an advanced rank 1 warrior if I recall, and Dahlia was an intermediate rank 1 warrior. It seems they came to this place for some mission. But because they were not careful, they died. Their corpses could be useful for the plan I have in mind though. Also, I can absorb their blood essence too."
Aiden ignored their corpses for now and continued to scan the place.
Eventually, he saw the Solar Herculean Herbs.
"Fuck," he cursed.
There were 150 of them.
However, an expert rank 1 chaotic beast was laying beneath it. It was very large. The size of a bus.
It was a very large lizard. Occasionally, flames would circle across its figure.
Its eyes were very bead-like, and there were scales all across its figure.
"This creature can kill me in one strike. Alright, let’s not panic. If I follow the plan carefully, I’m sure I can distract it, grab the herbs and disappear from there. If I try to form a crimson hand to grab the herbs when it’s laying there, it will notice me and I will be dead meat. If it were an intermediate or advanced rank 1 creature, I could have used the invisibility bracelet to my advantage. But that’s out of the picture now. Let’s initiate the plan first and see how it goes."
Blobs of blood appeared before Aiden and transformed into two large crimson hands.
They moved covertly through the air, narrowly avoiding intermediate and advanced rank 1 chaotic beasts lurking in the weeds in the arid region ahead.
The hands arrived at where the corpses of Dahlia and company were.
They grabbed the corpses of Dahlia and company quickly and returned them back to Aiden immediately.
An advanced rank 1 chaotic beast growled as if it had noticed something happen a moment ago.
However, it quickly went back to sleep, realizing nothing was wrong.
Aiden moved a bit away from the arid region.
The two large hands put the corpses down.
Aiden absorbed their blood essence.
He felt a large surge in his being.
After that he took out the corpses of the assassins he had killed too.
Several blobs of blood appeared again and transformed into five more crimson hands.
Under Aiden’s will, all the large crimson hands grabbed the corpses of the assassins including the corpses of Dahlia and company.
The large crimson hands hovered above the air and shot towards the arid region.
Aiden made the crimson hands drop the corpses at targeted locations in the arid region.
These spots were Central spots he had marked in the arid region where the rank 1 chaotic beasts would leave their spots to gather after identifying the corpses.
"This will create a conflict among them over the corpses. Even the legendary rank 1 turquoise lizard guarding the Solar Herculean Herbs will be drawn there when it notices the commotion between the other chaotic beasts. At least, I hope that’s how it turns out. If it does not work, I will just leave. Can’t risk my life over a mission. I can just hunt for some intermediate rank 1 chaotic beasts and return to campus, then take on another mission at any time in the worst case scenario."
Very soon all the corpses were dropped at the designated spots.
The crimson hands transformed into blobs of blood and returned into Aiden.
He waited on a tree, not too far from the entrance into the arid region.
Very soon, the creatures started moving towards the corpses.
"It’s working," Aiden smiled.
