Chapter 252: New look (2)

"I hope I didn’t oversleep too much. We were meant to be on the road to get into town before night," Aurora said, hoping she did not already mess up her plans. She did not expect the drinks to be so strong. "I didn’t even get to enjoy the food Vincent and I bought. Where on earth did I even put it?"

"I am never drinking more than one cup of alcohol," Aurora promised herself. The sweetness of what she drank last night had completely hidden how much alcohol was actually in the cup.

As far as she could remember, she had not done anything embarrassing last night where she would need to dig a hole and bury herself.

"Vincent?" She called for him as she exited the bathroom but she found the room to be empty. "He listened to me. How kind of him."

Aurora began to dry her hair. She was forced to wash it after finding traces of grass and leaves tangled up in a couple of strands. She was certain she did not remove all and would need some help but for now, the majority she felt was gone.

If there were a lot left, it could not be as bad as her hair when she lived in the forest with Artemis and did not care to remove grass from her hair.

"Wait. Was this dress always here?" Aurora had to pause as she was about to pass the bed to go to Vincent’s closet.

She was more focused on drinking the weird concoction Vincent brought her and then rushing to the bathroom that she might not have noticed the plain dress laid out on the bed. It was either that or Vincent had snuck back into the room while she was still in the bathroom.

The dress laid on the bed was perfect to use to blend in with the townspeople. They wouldn’t stand out like they came from a wealthy family and have questions thrown their way. They would look like a regular couple simply visiting from another town.

Aurora continued to dry her hair and wet body, eager to get on the road. The need to see Regina once again and get revenge on Minnie made her energetic.

"Aurora," Vincent’s voice came from by the door, followed by a knock. "Can I come in?"

"Yes, it was originally your bathroom after all," Aurora sat on the bed, putting on her undergarments before she would wear the dress. "Did you come back because you have a hard time dealing with the witches? I should have gone to my bedroom to get dressed and let you have privacy in your own room."

Due to Aurora backing Vincent, she could not see the change in his appearance. However, she could sense there was something wrong so she turned around to look at him.

"Vincent?" Her eyes widened as she noticed his new look.

His hair had changed from black to a reddish shade and it was much longer. So much longer that it could reach his waist. His eyes had changed to black and there were noticeable changes on his face that made him look like a new person. Unfortunately, his body was not as buff as it normally would be.

"Glamours are more amazing when you see the change right in front of you. How on earth were they able to change your appearance? Is it something random or did they pick what your body changed to? It’s a shame it wasn’t able to change your voice," this was the only flaw Aurora found with Vincent’s new look.

Anyone who heard his voice before would be able to recognize him but his new appearance might make them think it is someone with a similar voice. They needed another name to call each other while wearing the glamours.

"We need another name for each other," Aurora said.

"Just refer to me as honey."

"Vincent," Aurora sighed, placing her hand on her forehead. "If anyone tries talking to us, I cannot tell them your name is honey. You know what, we have a long trip and we can think of something on the way there. I have to finish getting dressed and then I will put on my glamor.

"Do you need help? The dress needs to be tied from the back," Vincent picked it up and showed her the strings behind. This was one time he was thankful for something Cherry did.

"Out of all the dresses Cherry sent, did you purposely lay this one on the bed because you knew I would need help?" Aurora wouldn’t put it pass Vincent doing such a thing. He would do any and everything in order to touch her. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"I’m afraid you’re wrong. Cherry was the one to pick out this dress. I believe there is a guide for when and where to wear the dresses. You think she has been in the human town to be giving you a guide. Come let me help you. I won’t do anything," Vincent truly meant it.

They were meant to leave in the next couple of minutes in order to have time to settle in the human town before night which meant there was no time to be fooling around. He had a horse packed up with the two bags they would need for their trip.

"Has Victor already started to do your work?" Aurora asked.

"Any time meant for me is going to be sent to his home for the day. Derek will be working on the wall from today since it was his punishment for bringing the humans here. Everything is set for us to leave," Vincent said as he placed the dress over Aurora’s head to help her put it on easier.

"Then we should hurry before something to stop you from leaving happens. I wouldn’t be surprised if a problem only the alpha can handle suddenly arises. Thank you," she stepped forward when Vincent was done tying her dress. "I am curious to see what my new look will be."

Aurora couldn’t wait to see what she would look like without her white hair. It was something that burden her in the past and she was curious to see what life would be like without everyone staring at it.
