"At this point, we’re just throwing everything onto Victor," Aurora chuckled.

"Throwing what onto me?" Victor asked, approaching the duo with Cherry by his side. "I hope the two of you aren’t looking to kill me."

"Somewhat," Vincent replied. The workload certainly would certainly kill someone like Victor who was so used to slacking off. "Victor, be at my house bright and early tomorrow morning. No drinking tonight."

"You can not order him around," Cherry stepped forward to shield Victor from getting bullied by Vincent.

"Yes, I can. Do you know why? I am the leader and his older brother. Victor, if you are not there by the time I open my eyes tomorrow, I will visit your home and personally drag you all the way to my house. Understood?"

"You are not a good older brother," Victor grumbled. There was a terrible feeling in his chest about tomorrow.

Aurora didn’t see why Vincent had to play with Victor instead of telling him the truth. "Victor, I need you to do me a favor. That is why you need to be there tomorrow."

"What about me? Am I not useful?" Cherry looked back and forth between Aurora and Vincent. They were always leaving her out of their plans. "When am I going to get to join in the fun?"

"I will need a couple of clothes to blend in with humans. Not like the ones you have made for me so far. They are too fancy and shall bring too much unwanted attention to me-"

"You are going back around humans?" Victor asked in surprise.

"Yes, I am going to deal with my past so that I can move on. If I wait any longer, a lot of people can get hurt. Vincent and I will be leaving tomorrow which is why it would be helpful for you to take over his position while he is away Victor. Please," Aurora begged rather than enforcing it as Vincent did.

Asking nicely was always the better option.

Victor sighed, knowing this will come back to bite him in the ass for accepting. "Fine but you have to make sure there is nothing difficult for me to handle."

"Cross my heart," said Vincent.

"That is not reassuring. Do you know how many times I have said you do not have a heart brother?" Victor asked, already knowing what the number was. "I am only doing this since you have asked me nicely Aurora. It would always be good to not have Vincent around for a couple of days."

"It’s like a good vacation for everyone who hates seeing Vincent," Cherry couldn’t be more than happy that Vincent would be gone for a while.

"Whatever you say, Agnes," Vincent stated her name to get under her skin once again. He never understood why she hated her name so much but enjoyed having something he could use to upset her.

"Vincent," Victor smacked his face. Why on earth did the two of them have to go back to arguing with each other? "Can the two of you stop bickering every chance you get? It’s clear as day that you like each other."

"Eww," Cherry scrunched up her face. "How dare you, Victor."

"Well duh, honey. That is how our friendship is and what makes it so fun. Love with a whole lot of hate sprinkled in. Right, Vincent?" Asked Cherry. That was the best way to describe their friendship in her opinion.

"I don’t know what the hell you are talking about," Vincent flat out said. "I don’t know about the love part. You were always a pest we could not get rid of. Unfortunately, you will be stuck with us forever now that you are with Victor. Splendid."

"You were rooting for them this whole time," Aurora shook her head. Vincent could not admit that he liked bickering with Cherry.

"That’s what I am saying. You and I are the most mature ones here, Aurora. Shall we leave these two behind and go find somewhere for the two of us to enjoy the bonfire?" Victor couldn’t handle anymore of the Vincent and Cherry show for the rest of the night.

"Hey! What on earth do you think you’re doing? You can’t leave me to be with another woman even if it’s Aurora. We just got together," Cherry hooked her arm around Victor’s. They were going to be together all night as this would count as their first date.

"Not like I wanted you around us tonight," Vincent wrapped his arm around Aurora’s waist, careful not to spill the food.

Aurora and Victor gave each other the same look as they realized they both loved two possessive people. They should have run away from Vincent and Cherry when they had the chance.

"Good, everyone is here," Derek broke the tension building up between the two couples. "We were looking all over for the four of you."

Aurora was pleasantly surprised to see Tara and Abigail attending the bonfire. This would be their first time walking around the community like this. The two children were also receiving stares but they did not seem to mind. "Hello," Aurora waved at the two children.

Tara tried to pull away from Jane’s hand to run to Aurora but Jane stopped her. "Why can’t I?" She looked up at Jane.

"We talked about not running off without asking me or Derek first. You can’t just run off." Jane had given the girls a lengthy speech of what they could and could not do while at the bonfire.

It was a tough decision to bring them outside to enjoy the bonfire when there were so many people there who could hurt them. Almost everyone will be shifting into a werewolf at some point which meant they always had to be holding onto Tara and Abigail.

At some point, the little ones had to be careful on their own and aware of their surroundings. They needed to start learning this from now.

"I’m sorry. Are you angry with me?" Tara started to tear up.

"No. You are young and allowed to make mistakes," Jane wiped away the tear before it could fall.

Silently watching the interaction, Aurora decided it was time to grant Jane what she had always wanted.
