Chapter 194: Reunion (3)

"Sis." frёewebηovel.cѳm

It was so long since Regina heard the word from Aurora. She was so happy she could pass out.

"Where did you learn to do this kind of stuff? Were you hiding it from me when I told you my secrets?" Aurora never once heard Regina mention anything about being a witch or being able to perform anything like this.

"Don’t overthink Aurora. I only recently found out about this stuff and I went to three witches in town to get anything that could help me tap into my skills and they gave me a book. I’ve been practicing and here we are. You would not believe this is my first time trying this spy spell."

"Congrats," Aurora clapped her hands.

The excitement in Regina slowly died down when she found Aurora to be odd. She wasn’t as cheery as normal. It could be the circumstances she was in these days that made her different. "Is everything alright Aurora? You seem a little odd."

"Good to see you noticed. I’ve regained all of my memories from when I first stepped into that house. I remember being more than just your sister. There are many things about me that are different from what you once knew but I am still Aurora. I remember everything about you."

"I see," Regina muttered trying to register this. "Well, I’d rather you have all of your memories than you being clueless. As long as you remember me, I am okay with it. Tell me, how has life been out there? You know, with the man you ran away with. Does he treat you right?"

"He does treat me really well. I believe you should call this the queen treatment-"

"Don’t others normally say princess treatment?" Regina chuckled.

"I believe I am more of a queen than a princess," Aurora corrected Regina.

"That would mean the relationship between the two of you would have to be really serious. Ah, your first relationship and I don’t even get to witness it. This is a punishment of the highest level. Oh," Regina clapped her hands remembering what happened today. "You would not believe who got engaged today."

"Certainly not you," Aurora refused to believe it was Regina. After all she had to say about marriage there should be no way Regina would be the one getting married.

"You guessed wrong but it’s not my engagement that should be shocking, it’s who I am getting married to. Timothy proposed to me this morning."

"Do we know another Timothy because I can only think of the one who used to tease you? Don’t give it away to me yet. I want to think of any other Timothy we know since it certainly cannot be Timothy Payne. Right?" Aurora asked, waiting for Regina to deny the claim but she only smiled. "Are you serious?"

Aurora wanted to shake the mirror in her bedroom as a way to shake some sense into Regina. "Who are you and what have you done to Regina? This is one of Minnie’s tricks, isn’t it?"

"As if Minnie could be awesome enough to do something like this. Don’t give her the credit belonging to me. On a serious note, I did tell you I was going to own this home one day but I can’t do that on my own. I was looking for a husband and after Timothy confessed his feelings for me-"

"What!" Aurora yelled out in disbelief. ’I must have woken up this morning in an alternate universe,’ she thought.

"Apparently he liked me for a while. Even I was as shocked as you are right now but I mean, come on," Regina flipped her hair over her shoulder. "What’s not to love about me? I can turn haters into lovers. Do you see how powerful I am?"

Aurora didn’t have a reply since she was still trying to understand how Timothy and Regina were going to get married. Then again, the two were a bit similar. It was just they were always arguing with one another. "You know what, I think the two of you will make a wonderful couple. Invite me to your wedding please. I’ll come with a date."

"Now that we got the fun stuff out of the way, are you really going to come back here? With everything that Minnie has done to you, I wouldn’t step foot back here. I saw Duncan bringing in children to lead them to the mountains and they are hiring witches. They are up to something so wherever you are, stay there."

"Regina, I am not going to hide away for much longer after what they did to me. I must apologize in advance since they are your family but I plan to kill Minnie. There’s no redemption for her in my eyes. Anyone who gets in my way will meet their end," Aurora gave a warning.

It wasn’t directed toward Regina but hinting if any other family member were to get involved with her trying to kill Minnie, Aurora would end them too.

"My issue is mostly with Minnie so I won’t harm anyone else unless they intervene. Hopefully, no one does."

"You don’t have to apologize to me. Truthfully, I am tired of being around this family and I don’t care what happens to anyone. They can all die," Regina confessed softly.

Aurora was shocked to hear Regina say her family could die. "Listen, I know you care for me and think this might be something-" ƒгeewebnovёl.com

"That has nothing to do with you Aurora. Long before this, I always thought about how I wanted everyone here to die. These past days have felt like hell and I learned the truth about this family. We’re not actual Hamiltons. Whoever we really are, killed those innocent people and took their identities. And what happened to you and Esmeralda..." Regina trailed off.

"How do you know about Esmeralda? Did you find a book or talk to someone who knew her? Tell me, Regina!" Aurora exclaimed, concerned about the things Regina might’ve learned back there. It wasn’t possible for Regina to learn about what happened to Esmeralda.

"People might call me crazy if they knew I could talk to my dead great grandmother. Esmeralda showed up in front of me one day and told me everything. Our family has a long history of doing terrible things and if we don’t stop them more bad things will happen. With the true Hamilton family members dead, this name should just disappear. This house should be given back to the original owners. Just think how they must be in the afterlife, saddened about everything they lost." Regina started to become lost in her negative thoughts.

"Regina," Aurora said in a soft tone. "I understand your frustration but wanting your family to die isn’t the answer. It’s different for me. Those aren’t my mother, father, or brother. I won’t feel any type of regard for their deaths but you will. I don’t want you thinking like this please."

"You don’t understand how much I am trying to keep my head together in this house, Aurora. I have no control over my life here. My mother is against me, my brother is just looking out for his well-being and doesn’t care how it will screw me over, and my father can’t properly stand up for me unless it’s against my mother. I am exhausted. Honestly, I don’t know how much I can pretend as if I can go against all of them."

Aurora was the only person Regina was able to speak about her emotions to and now that she was, everything she was holding in started to pour out.

"Regina, forget about trying to own this home and trying to get back at all of them. Marry Timothy and never look back at this place or your family. Your family doesn’t have to die for them to be dead to you. Cut them off," Aurora advised Regina.

Aurora was thankful to see the lengths Regina would go to out of anger for the secret things her family was using her but Regina’s mental state was more important. Clearly, there was much more going on with Regina than learning about her family history.

Aurora always knew Regina wasn’t as tough as she always portrayed herself to be. She just kept pretending nothing hurt her in order for others to never know their words affected her.

"I said I would own this house one way or the other, Aurora. I don’t care if none of us are left living here. I don’t care if I have to die right after. I am going to take everything away from the people here and make them suffer. Make them suffer like they’ve made others suffer. I am going to get back at them for you and me. With Timothy’s help, I can do that then I can finally be at peace."

"Not if you end up killing yourself in the process. How can you be at peace in the end when you are suffering alone and don’t mind dying? Regina, I will always be grateful for the way you have loved me from the moment we met but please, get the hell out of that house," Aurora pleaded.
