Chapter 195: Reunion (4)
"I can’t just leave Aurora. People don’t get married in a day. Though I think Timothy might try to pull that off. I wouldn’t be surprised if he proposes to me tomorrow with something that should take someone like a year to plan. I’ll be fine," Regina waved Aurora’s concern off.
"I’ll stick it out a while longer until I go with Timothy. I’m just going to ignore everyone here so that I can slowly regain my sanity or I just might kill all of them. Anyway, what’s the plan for getting revenge? Let me in on it," said Regina.
Aurora didn’t want to skip past how Regina was feeling but her sister was always too stubborn when it came to her emotions. Regina had to figure out on her own what she really wanted. If she doesn’t care about the house and what she might inherit, just leave it alone and find something you really care about.
"You said they were taking children up to the mountain and looking for witches to hire. That means Minnie is confident she’ll have me back to perform a sacrifice. It’s not like she can easily find where I am so that means she will try to lure me out. There are two things she might have already planned," Aurora held up two fingers.
Aurora continued to say, "She has in mind that I have recovered my memories and I will be returning to get my revenge or she plans to use you to bring me there. If I don’t show up soon to get revenge she might try to use you which is why it’s best you get out of there as soon as you can. Now that you are practicing spells other witches will know you are one of their sisters."
"When I visited the shop those witches said they couldn’t pick up on me being a witch," Regina remembered the encounter.
"The more you mess around with spells the easier it is for them to tell and you have to be careful. You might end up using black magic which comes with a price. Then, a human would be able to tell you are a witch. You have to be aware of the people Minnie brings into that home. If she brings a witch, they can tell her about you. All your family members who visit are witches."
"They’re watching and waiting to see who between me and Samuel might be a witch. That’s what Esmeralda told me. It’s really going to be dangerous if one of them visits me. Crap," Regina started to panic realizing the situation she was in. freewebnovel.cσ๓
"But you know, you have other things to worry about," Aurora said in a bored tone. Clearly, Regina didn’t think anything through which was unlike her. "Your future husband is related to the king right."
"Right," Regina replied.
"And they have a history of killing people who are not human. Like me," Aurora pointed at herself. "And you," she pointed at Regina. "Quite an odd pair however you look at it."
"What Timothy doesn’t know won’t kill him and if he starts to notice anything I’ll kill him."
"Killing people is all you ever talk about, Regina. There is a saving grace for you when it comes to Timothy. When the two of you have children they’ll be half-human half-witch. Maybe more humans than witch since you are not a full witch. Are you seriously blushing Regina? You’re about to become a married woman so it’s okay to talk about these things," Aurora covered her mouth with her hand so Regina wouldn’t be able to see her laughing.
It was cute to Aurora to see Regina get flustered over things like this. One moment she was putting worms in Timothy’s shoes to freak him out and now she was blushing at the thought of them having children.
"You aren’t the Aurora I knew because she would never say something like that. How can you talk about having children so easily? Tell me, did you sleep with that man? And I don’t mean cuddling. Spill the information," Regina inched closer to the mirror to hear.
"I’m not spilling anything," Aurora sang and continued to hide her smile.
"You sneaky devil. It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Are you sure it’s not your wedding I need an invitation to and it’s not you who will be having children? My little niece or nephew might already be in there swimming around. Hello there!" Regina tried to greet Aurora’s stomach.
"Swimming around? What classes did you honestly take to say that? I am not pregnant Regina. Stop trying to look before you fall over. Remember, stay away from anyone Minnie brings to the house. I need to carefully plan out what I will do with Minnie. In the meantime, use this spell on a much smaller mirror you can carry around."
"Which means I will still have to go into your bedroom to get smaller items to use. It’s inevitable," Regina sighed accepting defeat. "Just know my life will be over the moment I step in there. The things I do for my precious older sister. You better give me all the juicy details about that man after this."
"Sure. Keep practicing spells to defend yourself. I’ll talk to you soon," Aurora said as she noticed the image of Regina was becoming blurry in the mirror. Regina wasn’t able to make it last a long time which was a good thing.
"See you soon, Aurora."
Aurora sighed when the image of Regina completely disappeared. It was good to be able to communicate with Regina again but it was also depressing to hear and see what she was putting herself through.
"She has her own battles with her family," Aurora muttered remembering the many times Regina had issues with her family. "My situation just made it worse. I hope she doesn’t kill her family since the regret will be too much for anyone to handle. Would she really regret it though?"
Aurora started to think back to the many times Regina told her that she would rather it just be her and Aurora. The only person other than Aurora who Regina hardly argued with was her father but Regina said he wasn’t sticking up for her unless it was against her mother. "That’s not a good enough reason to kill him though. Still, I can’t say much when I have no idea what’s happening between her and everyone there."
Aurora left the mirror going towards her bedroom door. She planned to go on a walk to explore more of the community while Vincent was away.
"I should hurry before he-"
"Before he what? Were you thinking of another man or were about to do something while you thought I was away?" Vincent asked after he heard the start of her sentence. He should have known it was suspicious how she practically pushed him out of the house after breakfast.
After the night they had, one would expect her to want him around to spend more time together.
"Do you have somewhere you need to go, Aurora?"
’Why is he staring into my soul for a lie?’ She thought watching his burning gaze drill a hole through her. ’If I lie he’s definitely going to know.’
"I’m not going-"
"Don’t lie to me Aurora. I can always tell. You don’t have to stay caged up in this house now that you are back to normal. I should have had a better conversation with you about that so you don’t feel like you need to hide and do things. I just wouldn’t advise you to go outside the gates since the vampire sightings have increased. Why are you looking at me like that?" Asked Vincent.
Aurora placed her hand on Vincent’s forehead and then asked, "Who are you and what have you done with Vincent?"
"Excuse me?" Vincent was confused by what she meant. Did she want him to tell her not to go outside?
"You want me to believe that you will let me leave here on my own as long as I don’t go outside the gates. This isn’t the overprotective and possessive Vincent that I know so who the hell are you? I ended up in an alternate world, didn’t I? First Regina is going to marry Timothy and now you." Aurora tried to pinpoint when she could have fallen into another world.
"Are you okay?" Vincent touched her forehead to make sure she wasn’t sick. "Can you even become sick? I think you’re just losing your mind? Who did you say is getting married?"
"Regina is getting married to one of her childhood enemies."
"How exactly do you know that? How did you get in touch with her?" As far as Vincent was concerned, Aurora had not left home for the entire day. And no one here could easily walk onto the Hamilton residence to speak with the girl Aurora mentioned.
"She learned that she’s a witch and started practicing spells to talk with me. It worked and I just finished talking to her. She used a spell to spy on someone. I’ve heard about it before," said Aurora.
"Spy spell? Tell me more."
